Great location”
Love this hotel so much. Just only need a bit addition for having lift. Sorrounded with many restaurant, mall, branded store & supermarket. The room is clean, wide enough & the staff are friendly & helpful

Great Location, Poor household”
Very good location, good service at the desk. As the hotel is located at a central location, there is a dirt all around. The shower was without hot water in the morning, took 1 hour to get it solved. Service at desk was good, with great willingness by Ahmet.

This was my second stay. Few years ago I felt in love with this place. Excellent location, well equipped, spacious and clean room. This time I was disappointed. I missed coffee cups for example, why to put in room electric teapot without appropriate dishes (there were vine glasses only)? We left luggage, and in the afternoon when we come back, staff didn't allow us to use the toilet.

Room 13”
Don't accept room 13. It's very warm from the Turkish restaurant's oven which is beneath! I recommend another hotel!

location is the key”
Nothing to expect beside the location. I had to pay a city tax which was only mention at the time of check-in. And couldn't get a receipt for it. Anyway it's good for short term stay.

Above average”
Excellent location right next to the main shopping street Zeil, sadly however the room was not clean with empty beer bottles standing in the kitchenette and we were unable to sleep at all due to loud party goers at a nearby club - we left one night early to sleep elsewhere.

Simple. No frills room in Frankfurt centre”
Carpet is disgusting. If they cleaned the carpet, or replace it with tiles or such like, it might improve the feeling. The smell in the toilet is horrible also. Ok, not their fault perhaps, as it comes from the drainage pipes, but for the price we paid they could surely save up and sort it

Very bad experience”
We have paid for a king size bed, but when we reach the hotel they said are all fully booked and don’t have only the single beds !!! And not comfortable at all , the beds are moving not stable at all. We had back pain and we cannot sleep all the nights long

Fantastic location”
Hotel Expo is near a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants. Taxi rank and the train service is nearby too. I can not fault the location. Close proximity to MyZeil shopping center and Frankfurt's main shopping street. Lots to do in the area so I would recommend. The hotel was basic, no air con. TV, shower facility in room, Was cleaned daily but not bed sheets. I recall after two days the bedding was changed. Staff speak English, But I had researched so I knew where to go and eat. There are other hotels nearby which are more expensive but the price I paid for 6 nights was very reasonable, I think you should research different sites before booking to get the best available deal.

Central location, decent sized-room, but that's it”
The Expo Hotel is centrally located on the Zeil shopping strip in the Frankfurt innerstadt. This provided us with a lot of things we could do and access just by walking around, and we never had to use the subway during our stay (even though it was just several meters away). Even the Palmengarten is a comfortable 30-minute stroll from the hotel and we chose to walk there and back (and discovered some nice restaurants and eateries along the way). Inside the hotel itself, it is very bare-bones, with just the rooms and the reception desk. There is no hotel restaurant, baggage room (for if you have to checkout in the morning but leave later in the day), nor any sorts of amenities that I have typically seen in 3-star hotels. For that matter, it was a relatively pricey stay, so I think we were paying mainly for location and the state of the rooms - which were generally nice and spacious, with a small kitchenette in our case (but no stoves and the refrigerator didn't even work). I do not highly recommend this hotel, but I do not recommend against it either. This was an OK stay, albeit overpriced.

Recommended, with caveats”
I thought the location was fantastic for walking around and seeing things, also steps from an S-Bahn station so easy to get to from the airport. I thought the guys at the front desk were mostly helpful and knowledgeable and friendly, although more reserved, not effusive. I liked the working elevator which was fast. I like the room which was fine for someone not spending a lot of time in it anyway. BUT I did request on of the double beds, not 2 singles as I got. The first night my shower was unable to deliver a hot shower (although fixed quickly the next day.). And the remote for the TV was strangely missing. There were some fruit and treats on the table for my arrival, although the apple had a brown mushy spot on it, but I still appreciated the thought. Overall I wasn't looking for the Ritz Carlton, I wanted something simple and close. If I wanted to pay three times more I could have booked the Westin a block away, but I didn't travel to Frankfurt for the hotel room.

Great location for shopping, friendly staff”
Location was excellent. right next to train station (Konstablerwache) and is basically on the shopping street called Zeil. having a toddler with me, i can just walk back to the hotel to get some rest or to keep our shopping bags as our stroller was full of hanging Primark bags! it was a 15mins leisure/slow walk to the zoo (probably 7 mins of standard walking)and also around 15mins leisure walk to the Romer. ask the staff for a map- it's so easy to get around.we were in Frankfurt for 2 days only. So we spent Saturday shopping and Sunday to go to the zoo and Romer. All shops are closed on Sunday (except some restaurants, cafes, some souvenir shops at Romer area and some pharamcies- called Apotheke there). there was also a direct train to the airport- take S8 or S9 towards the airport.the staff at the hotel are friendly always smiling and able to converse in English very well.

Closed to the train station and tourist visit area”
The room is clean with the view facing McDonald's. it is a very convenient place to stay. However, it was a bit noisy at night. 6 mins walk to the Frankfurt Cathedral, further down is Mainkai and Iron Bridge. Crossing the bridge is the Frankfurt old Town.

Nice Hotel in Frankfurt ”
The room was very nice. It included a microwave, refrigerator, and dishes. The hotel is located near the old city. We rode the subway from the Main Train Station to Konstablewache Station. It is a short walk from there. There are many nice restaurants nearby.
