Not a bad choice ”

Greeted by really nice reception staff. Friendly and polite. It's location is about a 30-minute walk away from central train station. So if you don't mind the distance, it's actually a pretty good deal. The tram station is right in front of the hostel. So moving about is not a great problem.

Hostel Okay”

Location of the hostel was ok, the lady that worked in the hostel was lovely, polite and friendly, but..the man who ran the hostel was smug and intimidating..i arrived early around 10am and wanted to leave my bags at the hostel, he eventually answered the door and very abruptly told me that check in was (i believe) 3pm and that i had to come back then...throughout the stay his attitude was not one of a person who should be running a hostel!! myself and a fellow traveller had the same experience of the man, and only stayed at the hostel as it was a lot cheaper than anywhere else! i would not stay here again purely based on the manager!

All about the money”

Price should be listed as an extra €3 since they charge for linen in an obligatory way. Every service is charged (for high prices, much more than covering costs), like €10 for washing clothes, cant recall the price for lockers(no free option for luggage), €5 a small beer... Lots of pieces of paper posted everywhere telling all kind of crazy fines and their exorbitant values... You get the feeling they are trying to rip the guests off all the time, it's all and only about money, the owner makes not funny at all jokes about it like "you got your room so cheap now they cost 3x more we should auction your bed ha-ha-ha". Maybe it would be better to go anywhere else more friendly and welcoming where it's not just about the money.

Near to city center but it stains ”

- location: nearly to main train station,!just 10 mins tram - facilities: theres no plug for phone charging and no shelf - price: price is okay but u need 3 EUR to buy the sheets, and its never mentioned; theres no locker only if u pay 2EUR for that, luggage storage needs money as well. - cleanliness: the bed and pillow itself is full of moulds and stain (its quite gross), so u need bed sheet to cover it up. Cant sleep well as theres bugs. - conclusion: if u are solo traveller whos desperately need a cheap place to stay, it can be a choice; if u can find a better one with similar price (room price + 3 eur), for sure find another one.

Awful”

The most unhelpful and greedy owner ever and I have travelled to 35 European Countries staying over 500 days in various hostels and budget accommodation! Location was far from Frankfurt Central, facilities were bare minimum, just good enough for a night sleep and everything is chargeable. 2 Euros to use the kitchen, 5 Euros for a towel and the list goes on. I had made a mistake of checking out before the due time. When asked if I could have a Wi-Fi password (I arrived late the night before, Wi-Fi worked about few hours) for 5 minutes to do online flight check in, the answer was no as I have checked out. "Once you have checked out, you should go" and was being turned away without being offered any help.

Don't the fool by the price on website, Need to pay extra for everything”

Probably the worst hostel ever stay... The facilities was all right, but know that, 1.You are forced to pay 3 eu Extra for bed sheet 2.pay extra for using kitchen 3.Can only choose to use Wi-Fi on phone or internet, pick one from that 4. Guest are not allow to stay in common area after checking out. 5. there are lockers, but of course you need to pay, you can't even open and put things inside. Bed is just basic, no plug and light for every bed. Basically you only got the bed after you paid, others all extra. There are plenty of rules in hostel. It's fine, but make the atmosphere cold and there's no spirit of hospitality. Pay for everything just make guests not happy and use everything without respect. Because we PAID. That's not a good way to bind relationship between people. Oh, I forgot, I am not a guest, just someone who would pay.

Terrible service, but affordable”

This guys take money for everything: 6 euros for police/tax something, additional 20 euros that are not returnable, a padlock is 3 euros, and... RENT OF THE TOWEL is 2 EUROS a day! Tiny rooms... Also, they do not have a drying fan. Terrible, especially after A&O hostel, that looks as a paradise to me, comparing to this one. However, a wife of the owner, is very nice lady that helped me a lot with suggestions and recommendations on transport and locations. This nice woman kind of compensated overall poor experience.
