Oasis of cleanliness in Varanasi”
We were traveling on a limited budget. So no fanciest hotels, but not the cheapest either. Ganpati was the best of the trip and the best of this category by far!!! Very clean, water was hot, safe, great location and great staff. The staff was cleaning every day, The rooftop terrace is great. And the effort made on the decoration and details throughout is very nice. It’s a real break from the noise and chaos that reigns in Kashi.

Originally, my fiancé and I planned to stay here for only two nights. But between the magic of Varanasi and the comfort of Ganpati Guest House, we ended up staying for six nights! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is INCREDIBLY kind and helpful. And the restaurant on the roof makes it easy (and scenic) for breakfast or dinner. It’s centrally located, and if you have any questions whatsoever, the staff is eager to help. We highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Varanasi ”
Pros Pay the extra for a river view room the view and sights of the ganges are worth the extra $$ . Its also a min walk to cremation ghats Large room with extra's joss sticks, Pantene shampoo, large bed etc Lovely staff in restuarant and cleaning crew Great food Lovely location and quiet oasis away from the madness . Massive thank you to reception staff . My bag was held in Delhi for 2 days and with out them ringing and communicating would have struggled . Cons LEAVING IN GANPATI

Best place to Stay on the Ganga River.”
The staff at Ganpati guest house are very professional and accommodating. The hotel is close by all the main amazing things to see on this holy river. The rooms are modern and clean with hot water. The roof top restaurant is nice and the food delicious. I look forward to staying here again in my future visit.

Excellent quirky, beautiful place. The location is fantastic, the rooms are clean and well furnished and the rooftop restaurant serves very good food and drink. The staff are all helpful, we used their service to organise a boat for the evening and morning ceremonies, both great. Would love to stay again in the future.

wonderful place and location , best place to stay in Varanasi without doubt , perfect spot on the Ganges , very very clean , nice rooftop terrace and restaurant , nice food , ver very friendly and helpful staff , i stayed in the annex this time as main building was full , just next door and it was just the same as staying in main building ( where i have stayed before ) in fact i had a beautiful large room .

Ganpati Guest house is best place to stay with family or friends. This place is very close to ghats and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Also, food quality was good in their restaurant and room was clean. I will plan to visit soon and choose this guest house again. Thanks

We had such a great stay at Ganpati. From being picked up at the train station, to the great value tours, excellent food on their rooftop patio, helpful friendly staff, beautiful unique rooms, we couldn’t have hoped for a better place for our visit to Varanasi. It is a great location too, situated right on the Ganges, in the midst of everything. Strongly recommend. We hope to come back.

Standard rooms values for money”
I stayed here for two nights. I really love this room with balcony and Ganges river view. The staffs are friendly. Rooftop restaurant is ok though they only serve vegetatian foods. Pros: it takes several minutes' walk to the Dashashwamedh Ghat. Cons: close the balcony's door even if you just want to take a snap as the monkey will soon enters to your room quietly and reaches for stuffs. Also prepare yourself with the smell of urine as you will walk by a public toilet near the gate to river.

Very impressed everything, location is the best ”
We, group of friend really love this place. We booked round trip of pick up service by the hotel with reasonable price, hotel's staff waited us at street ,bring all luggage and took care us walked to the hotel. All staff from reception to staff at restaurant very helpful with service mind. Roof top restaurant was very perfect with Kangka view but unfortunately, we couldn't see the best view even the sunlight due to bad weather in December. The room and toilet was cleaned every day. All super bonus is location, easy for walking tour everywhere is so close when we walked along to the river. Even it's near many tourist attraction but quiet at night so we all slept well.

Hotel's location is at prime since it's very near to Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. In addition to it, it is located at Mir Ghat, it becomes very easy to commute to other Ghats for Aarti darshan. Hotel staff was very polite and rooms were very clean & maintained proper hygiene.

Great stay”
Simply put, this is the place to stay in Varanasi. For the price point we were very satisfied with what we got. Access to the ghats is a breeze, and in the July heat when walking around was unbearable, the view from our comfortable balcony was the perfect space to take in the scene along the river front. We also went on the Sarnath Tour and Morning River Boat trip organized by the hotel, both of which we found to be great value. The only negative being that we thought the restaurant was lackluster and one of its staff seemed rather surly. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Ganpati Guest House.

Dashmedh ghat,Gadolia market and Kash Viswanath Temple is on walking distance. Very clean room and bathroom. Polite staff . View Ganga from the hotel is unique.

Very nice view and calm peaceful location overlooking ganges. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Way to the hotel is both via ghats and via narrow alleyways and were equally interesting. Staff also helped with carrying the luggage to and fro the cab

What’s awesome was that they had a 10am check out policy but we had a flight in the evening they let us check out at 4 pm although there was less occupancy yet this kind of hospitality is only home for banaras
