Lovely Hotel on a Great Location”
i had a good time staying in this hotel even for a very short time. i really like the great location where it is situated on elevated and mountainous regions of Ras Al Khaimah & Fujairah. the worst thing is that we lost in our way going to the hotel. on the junction going to Khatt Spring, Fujairah, Sharjah from Ras Al Khaimah, there is no exact sign directing the location of the hotel or even the location of where is the Khatt Spring Area. i hope that there will be a good signage that could guide the other people and travellers who would like to visit and stay the place.

Quiet getaway”
It's my second time staying at Khatt Springs Resort and Spa and even though we opt for a standard room instead of the superior this time we are very satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort. Once again, a very quiet hideaway from the hustle bustle of the city. Definitely worth every fil and excellent value for money! Staff were nice, friendly and helpful whether at the hotel or down at the hot springs.

Unconventional location but hotel needs a complete makeover”
We stayed for one night to experience the mountain scenery and the hot springs. The room was very spacious but has not been re-designed for many years. Feels like a hotel in the 90th. The views are unconventional and shows the variety of landscape in the UAE. The Spa is very dirty (floor, sauna, indoor pool). The outdoor pool is nice in the late afternoon hours when the sun is going down. The Khatt hot springs are 170 stairs down from the hotel but also there it lacks cleanliness. The breakfast buffet was good and had quiet a variety. Staff was friendly and helful. Room service was good as well was the food (moderate prices compared to Dubai). It was an experience for one night but I rather recommend passing the mountain roads on your way to teh East Coast and take a hotel there instead of stopping in Khatt.

Relaxation trip ”
I decided to take a relaxation trip alone to go out from work and day to day stress, I searched a lot to find a place where you can be isolated from other world then I decided to tray Khatt hotel, really its wonderful, first of all price is more than excellent, room is large as well as bathroom, the landscape is amazing, mountains palms and you can smile fresh air, it take me again to my home country. I’m advising this hotel to every one looking for family or relaxation trip.

Relaxing, stunning views!”
I cannot believe this hotel gets bad reviews! We only paid 375 AED for half board basis. Excellent value for money. We booked a standard room that had lovely country views. The hotel has a pool, gym and sauna/steam room. And a short walk away there is a Hot Spring centre. The hotel has a bar too, that sold cheap alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. A lovely relaxing weekend. I will return and highly recommend.

Khatt hotel”
an overall quiet and calm stay, the natural springs where the best, the spa was nice, swimming pool is small and could get very crowded. there's only one restaurant serving buffets and room service. Rooms are very nice and spacious, some have showers and tubs. the soap is good! TV channels are minimal but you'll find something to watch. recommend a maximum stay of 2 days if not less, otherwise it could get a bit boring. the spa services are kind of medium high margin, but you'll find a good range. good experience, i might go again, but this time for a one night stay only.

Great Getaway”
Excellent online deal, very new and comfortable rooms. The hotel is fairly new so everything was fresh and little used. The facilities offered by the hotel, other than the spa, were exceptional. Indoor Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam, Ice Grotto and Snail shower separate for men & women. An outdoor common pool & natural hot water springs too. All this really relaxes you and is all included. The excellent spa facilities are additionaly offered

A peaceful and relaxing place to stay.”
I love how the resort is situated on top of a mountain - alone. You would really call it a getaway as it’s really far from the urban area. One wouldn’t need to go anywhere else because they have all the amenities that you may require - indoor and outdoor pools, a hot spring, a mountain where you can go hiking, a spa, gym. And most of all I love the peacefulness of the place.

Nice getaway from bustling city life”
Staff were very helpful & accomodating with requests so they definitely deserve 5-stars. As we arrive on a quiet weekday the room rate was FANTASTIC and at check in we were changed to a room on the top floor with the best view thanks to the check-in supervisor. The hot springs which was one of the attractions at RAK is free for in-house guests which otherwise is charged at 25dhs per entry for non-guests. In all, our stay was completely revitalising and a nice quiet getaway.

It was splendid! Very relaxing!”
Like what I've said, it was splendid! The Filipino staffs were very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are clean and huge with magnificient view of the city/mountains. I just wished hot springs is still open for guests for free like it used to be in 2008 during our first visit. Overall, it is highly relaxing to stay in this hotel and would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Star hotel next to mountains”
Excellent. We dint have food there. The winding graded road behind the hotel is awesome. Its location at the edge of Khatt village. Great for an evening stroll into the village.

Not 5 stars ”
This hotel is far from Ras Al Khaimah. however, its for good value for money. The best part of the hotel is the spa center as well as the free entery to the Khat sping water.

Thumbs Up!”
Great Property, everything still feels new & unused. Several facilities for relaxing & fun; sauna, steam, ice grotto, indoor heated + outdoor pools, spa, natural hot water springs.. Improvement on some of the support staff required being a 5* hotel. More kids activities required.

Could be so much more, but overall I thought this hotel was a good experience”
A nice change from some of the characterless beach hotel in Rak. The location at the base of the mountain was really nice and the hot baths a really special surprise and one that I enjoyed a lot. The rooms are a little tired, but big and comfortable. The swimming pool deck area is lovely. It is therefore a shame that the hotel feels a little like a communist regime relic with poor food and service (although everyone was still very pleasant and smiley- a little faulty towers really). The removal of some low rent items in the main lobby, a spruce up (paint, new carpets, gym and changing areas) and a better chef could make this place special again. Overall, an enjoyable one night stay and I would recommend the experience- make sure you try the hot springs below the hotel.

Could be better”
Firstly, this is marketed as a 5-star hotel. It is not! Not even close. 3 stars and here's why: - No valet parking (the parking is severly limited and it took us 15 minutes before the road was cleared enough to park) - Staff are not properly trained. Many struggle with English and simply say 'yes' or 'no' without actually knowing or trying to find out what the correct answer is. - We waited for 50 minutes from asking to actually receiving our drinks by the pool. - Rooms are tatty - not unclean, but just dated and we had trouble getting our door to lock. - The pool area is horrible - the water was so murky that you could not see a single tile below the water line. - Sadly the spa is not maintained. Looks great, but very little actually works as it should. The location is close to the mountains, but I can't see any reason why you would stay for more than 1 night. It's ideal for stopping by if you are exploring the area - it's right near the end of the Falaj al Moalla off-road road from the UAE Explorer book. The highlight of the hotel is the nearby natural hot springs. Costs 20dhs to visit, but men and women must use separate areas. They feel more natural than the ones in Al Ain and are a comfortable temperature.

Pleasant Stay”
Instead of charging for WiFi and having a pricey lunch/dinner menu, the hotel should make WiFi free and lower the costs of the tasty, but not so great food. Then, customers may actually spend the difference, and some, on the hot springs and the spa. Otherwise, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
