Love the staff and the location”
We have stayed at this hotel 2x thus far on our trip to Singapore and I couldn't recommend it enough. During quarantine and sans, their desk managers and concierges have been nothing but friendly and helpful during a stressful COVID period. I understand that the location isn't close to a MRT but there are bus stops a stone's throw away that takes you downtown or to the nearest MRT station. Moreover, there is a decent sized shopping mall and hawker center facing the hotel. That said, Singapore boasts one of the best biking trails ever and the Grand Mercure Roxy is simply a short walk to said trails (along the East-West coastline ) as well as to the bike/skate rentals that service those trails. However, I agree with some reviewers that the hotel is not in tip-top shape but I have to add that their rooms are always kept clean and we have always had a more than pleasant stay there so I would highly recommend it!

Loved our staycay here! ❤”
Check-in was a breeze, came at 1.30pm and received our room immediately. Room was clean and well-kept, only shortcomings that we had were, there was no bidet in the toilet and the tv main hotel channel was not found. Booking for facilities need to scan the qrcode from the main hotel channel. Miss Vivian from Front Desk helped us to fix the tv and also made booking for the swimming pool three days straight. Really appreciate her help as my children were looking forward to the pool. Location-wise, is nearby Parkway Parade and East Coast Beach. No halal in-room dining, but was easily available elsewhere. The hotel also provided complimentary parking. Hotel carpark at the basement was always full, nevertheless, we can park at Roxy Square Shopping Centre, only need to walk a bit. Overall, great service from them! Love the 3 days 2 nights staycation over at Grand Mercure. Thank you. ❤

Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy Hotel is a Trustworthy and Honest hotel. I was a Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy hotel guest on 2-1-2020 to 2-2-2020 before departing for my Asia cruise on Princess Sapphire. 2-2-2020 after check out of hotel en-route on the drive to Cruise port. I realized in my haste to pack and check out, I have forgotten my handbag with all my credit cards and USD $CASH inside. I was devastated!!! I've the driver called the Hotel to request the Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy hotel staff to immediately check my room for my handbag. The hotel manager was able to find my handbag and when I returned to claim my handbag, he counted all my CASH and asked if all my money's there. I am happy to said everything is intact. All my money and credit cards & other pertinent documents were in my handbag. I am so grateful for the Honesty and Trustworthiness of this hotel manager and staffs. Definitely a great relief to recover my handbag and my pertinent belongings. Five star!

One of my best birthday staycation to date”
We had a lovely staycation here with 2 nights of complimentary food and drinks even had a nice cake for my husband to celebrate his birthday. It was comfortable though the TV didn't have any choices to be entertained but we enjoyed some quiet time. Even the bathroom was great too. Overall I liked it here and hopefully to come again next time, my husband would like to thank the staff for giving him a nice surprise for his celebration. Thank you, Grand Mercure. Till next time.

Wonderful Hotel Staycation with Family.”
A spacious and a big room. A very clean and nice concept room given. A good partially view of East Coast Park Sea View when get the room on the high floor and a smooth in the Check-In upon arrival and Check-Out when ended the trip. A very good location for shopping and easy to find food as the hotel area is just opposite of the Parkway Parade Shopping Mall. The Wifi Connection is good and fast. Shall come back and booked again in the future and happy with the trip.

We are enjoy and happy with the 2day 1 might stay. Full of good food surrounding us. Hotel is clean, staff are friendly, room are big and comfortable. Also attached with a big toliet. We booked studio suit, therefore entitled to corktail snack in the evening. Unable to source for a reason to complain about this stay. Been long time never feel this satisfied in the staycation stay. I will come again! PS: over the year, we been go around SG for staycation due to COVID. Over 60+hotel

A lovely surprise for the room upgrade to Junior Suite. Thank you, Grand Mercure. The room was very spacious and well decorated. The view was amazing. The housekeeping did a splendid job in keeping the room impeccably clean. Mr. Andrew from the lobby reception was polite and professional in checking us in. The complimentary carpark charges was one of the defining factors for us to choose Grand Mercure. We will definitely choose the Grand Mercure for our next visit.

Pros: Smooth check-in. Was upgraded to Deluxe King room. Good Wifi speed. Upper floor with pool view. Spacious & clean room. Bathtub was superbly clean unlike some hotels. Didnt hesitate to soak in it. Strategic location. Hotel fronting a shopping mall. Lots of eateries. Walking distance to the beach. Cons: Room not soundproof. Thin wall could hear noises outside the room & neighbours closing doors.No waterhose/bidet in the toilet. But overall its an awesome stay!😊

The hotel is good , the place is nice and spacious. The people are amazing pleasant, front desk all seems to be coming from good background because social relation and tactics while is great and amazing! The hotel soap bar is best, all their amenities is detail nice and i can even purchase it if they sold it! Love how privacy and late check out they provided. Been there a couple of days because year end fully booked but i enjoy it, despite a 4 stars hotel, i never mind to took my pwn luggage because they were pleasantly nice and kind! EXCELLENT SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY! WILL SURELY RETURN, FOREIGNER PLEASE STAY HERE, YOU WILL NEVER REGRET COMING HERE!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was a lovely experience. I was not expecting so much from the hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was really clean and big. Parkway parade was just 6-7 mins by foot. And the staff was friendly. The hotel’s exterior looked old but the interior is nice. This is really a case of “Do not judge a book by it’s cover” Highly recommended!

Great service and hotel! Staffs were helpful and accommodating. We requested to have early check-in and the staffs agreed straight away. Managed to get sea view and high floor which makes us really happy. It was the best experience to have our virtual solemnization in this hotel! Really satisfied with the cleanliness and service. Will definitely come back again one day!

Spacious room and clean”
The room was so spacious and clean, staffs are great (i stayed at level 9 the housekeeping aunty was so polite and very helpful, the conciarage and receptionist too), althought there was a queue but check in time took pretty fast, location are great, near to airport, many eateries accross the road, parkway parade mall just at the opposite hotel, walking distance to the east coast park beach, very convenient as there are many buses to city, i think hotel should think about installing bidet sprayer in the toilet to cut down tissue usage, and add on some light as the room lighting is a lil bit dim especially at night.

Free upgrade to Deluxe pool room”
Would like to thanks the management staff for the free upgrade from Superior to Deluxe with pool side room. Initally was worried that the room would be noisy since kids will be screaming in the day and couples drinking with loud music at night but was suprised at the quietness of the soundproofed room. Both the infant and toddler slept quite well. Loved the bathroom that came with both rainshower and bathtub. It was huge enough to squeeze adults and kids alike. Thank you for the free upgrade. Would love to come by for another round of staycation in the near future.

First time and will never be the last in Grand Mercure Roxy! My partner and I were really happy with the staffs services, clean hotel and great room! Requested breakfast to be served in room and both days were delivered on time. Parking is quite limited at basement. Highly recommended!

Service is above my expectation”
Its my wife birthday and not only they provide us the complimentary birthday cake, they also surprised us with a bed deco which is nice and the kids love it. The lovely smell of the hotel lobby to the lift, to the corridor and finally to the room was nice. it kinda set the mood for the whole staycation. kudos to the male staff who attended to us at the reception. he really project himself professionally and his service is excellent. hope to have another staycation there. thumbs up :)

Pleasant stay”
Check in was systematic and the concierge team was very clear that only 35 person was allowed in the lobby due to covid restrictions. Eve from front desk was very clear and amidst of the long queue, she was still serving patiently and with a smile. We didnt get to use the swimming pool as it requires booking and we were already told it was fully booked the whole weekend. Nonetheless, the bath tub was fine for the kids except that in there was a pipe leak from the sink. We had to use the rubbish bin to control the leak, a cracked glass for toothbrush we didnt touch. We didnt go for breakfast as listed in the breakfast menu there wasnt much of a choice but theres Parkway Parade shopping centre to grab your food. Upon checkout, we realised we forgot our vehicle key once we were at the carpark, but the concierge named Sulaiman was quick to recognise me and brought me to front desk to see Eve again and she said “I remember her” Good memory Eve! And my many thanks to Sulaiman to get the room keys quick so I can search for my vehicle key. Although we didnt get to use any other facilities, I would probably be back, prebook the pool and enjoy the pleasant stay. The sheets, the bed , the lightings makes me just fall into deep deep sleep. I LOVE IT”
Maybe because I went on a Sunday, but i love how there was not a long waiting line in the lobby area, and the staff were really friendly! I booked the suite, so the toilet is the bomb! I love how parkway parade is nearby, and I could just buy my bath bomb from Lush @ parkway parade to enjoy a very nice warm bath in the tub. I love how spacious it is as well, so I would definitely come here again to just chill
