Positive : location is very good. Not far from airport bus stop. Middle of Zhongyang street. Negative : we book 2types of room. Budget double room toilet is bigger than twin room. Twin room toilet door can not be locked and there is cigarette smell in the room Anyway it is good! Budget and good location hotel in harbin.

Green Tree Inn provided quite basic accommodation, but was warm and adequate. There were some minor issues with lights not working properly, and some rooms were very small. However, this hotel allows one to stay in Harbin at a small cost in a very central position.

basic hotel and old. give us a room where the toilet door cannot close at all and for two days, the flushing system did not work cos somewhere in the neighbourhood, there is a broken pipe. Anyway plus points are hotel is near to Central Street, there are a lot of food choices around, the room heating is good and the housekeeping friendly.

Great location 3 Min to 24Hr store 3 Min to Central street 24 Hr foot courte is just opposite 4 Min to Euro plaza which has supermarket and many restaurant room is an old style but clean only annoying thing is smell from other smoking room. Maybe the roof has been connected each other.

The room is good even tho its abit small but we get everything we need there.. we booked King Room for first night and double room for 2nd night, but surprisingly the double room is more spacious than the king room. hotel location is very near to zhong yang street, malls and bus station to airport.

Excellent hotel in a great location”
The hotel was very comfortable, the room was a nice size and clean, the ensuite was good, though the shower leaked a bit onto the bathroom floor, meaning we used up our towels quickly. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of everything and a 10 minute walk to the frozen river. The staff's english was not great but they were very helpfull.

Relaxing easy stay”
We enjoyed our stay, the bed was standard Chinese (very very firm) and there was no indication of Wifi although there always seemed to be people in the foyer using their phones...? We went to the nearby Europlaza to use the Wifi before 9am when it actually worked. Excellent and cheap hairdresser across the road. Lang Feng I think it was called and there was also a nice noodle shop a couple of shops down.

Perfect location”
This hotel was ideal for what i needed. I was staying for 2 nights to see the snow and ice festival. It was less than a 1 minute walk to the main shopping street where you'll find restaurants and shops. Around a 5 minute walk to the Russian Orthodox Church, 10 minutes to the Zhaolin park ice festival and 10 to 15 minute walk to the Songhua River which you cross to get to the snow festival. The room was a nice size, clean and had ample clean bed linen and towels. The staff at the front desk were helpful although had limited English, i just survived with my tiny amount of Chinese. I would definately return here if i was to stay again.

Good location but room was dirty and smelled of smoke”
Upon entering the hotel room, you could distinctly smell the smoke. The bathroom was not the cleanest, and the room had lost of dust. Either way, the bed was comfortable, and the location was superb (5mins walk from Qianmen station). The staff were not too friendly, but still they tried to help us with our concerns, despite the language barrier.

Plus point: Location was very convenient. Eateries a few doors away. Good and inexpensive Chinese food. Turn right of the hotel, walk abt 5 minutes and you are on the shopping district. Many shops, eateries, and walkable to the pier where u can take the ferry to the opposite island. Room is adequate size for 2 ppl. We had the room with window facing the street below. Minus point: The entire lobby smells of cigarette smoke the whole time we were there. Receptionist not so friendly, and contributed abt 70% to the smell.
