This hotel has really nice staffs All the staffs are so kind and welcoming guest. So I could stay here very comfortably. The place is so much near in old quarter, actually inside old quarter. I stayed in balcony room . It was big and nice balcony to smoke. The accomodation fee also was reasonable price. I could stay in Hanoi one week very well with this hotel. Next time I will stay again. Hope soon see you again

A very nice hotel ”
The Holiday Diamond is a nice hotel right in the middle of the old quarter. Rooms are of good size and with bathtubs, nice to ease the tired muscles. The hotel has a restaurant but there are many eating places and bars around. A nice hotel for the money paid.

Despite being in the old quarter this hotel is quiet and comfortable, can definitely have a good nights sleep. The room is very clean and has plenty of storage. It’s a shame that the bath isn’t properly fitted in to the bathroom but the shower is very good. The breakfast was ok but could do with a cold drink option (not just tea and coffee). The staff were nice and they did some laundry for us and it was given back to us in less than 24hrs for a good price. I would stay here again.

Stayed for 3 nights the room is small but ok the staff are very helpful you have a choice of breckfast and is very good the Boy speaks good English and if helpful they arranged a taxi to the airport only$15 the driver was very good and spot on time I would definitely stay there again as I had the best sleep nice and quiet

Convenient Location ”
Overall, i am satisfied with my stays in this hotel for 3 nights. Location is perfect. Restaurant, Cafe, Bar, Street food, Convenient Store....just nearby, likes just in front of the hotel. For room and facilities, no much complaint with the price. Hotel a bit old (80's deco) but yet room was clean. Breakfast in order service (a la cart). Staff are friendly and ready to provide help in anytime when you need it. Recommend for those with no high demand on stay and budget trip.

I’m sure due to Covid that things are the way they are here. No breakfast included. WiFi works but slow. Lift is good and quick. Room had a bath tub, big plus. Staff was helpful. Bit of a problem, they offer a room for 99k but that’s only for 2 hrs. I doubt if day users read Agoda for their use.

The entire place (rooms, reception, corridor etc,) is stinky and unclean. Even though we checked in at around 10pm despite booking the room in the morning they had no clean rooms available. We were shown 3 rooms which were messy from checkouts. One of the rooms was then tidied up(they did not change any sheets from earlier) and alloted to us. Rooms are not well ventilated. The reception area has people dining right in the middle, despite having a restaurant area at the back. The staff is not welcoming/co-operative. There are better properties in the area with same rates. And places like these should be shut.

A True Gem in Hanoi Old Quarter”
My wife and I stayed at Holiday Diamond Hotel for three nights during our vacation in Vietnam. To be honest, we purposely chosen this hotel based on the good reviews from the travelers and of course this is a true reflection of good reviews. The staffs are very friendly with a genuine smile on their faces and always ready to help us during our stay. They help us to book train tickets from Hanoi to Danang and also explain us about important travel information. The room is very clean and well equipped with PC internet connection. The buffet breakfast was OK. During our last day of stays we got an offer for free upgrade to Honeymoon suite which we were pleasantly surprised. The Hanoi Holiday Diamond Hotel is an excellent hotel for the budget traveler. The staff are more than welcoming and did everything to make our stay most enjoyable. We were on our honeymoon so we were very surprised to receive a special gift when we arrived at our room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a friendly hotel in the heart of the old quarter.

Best Hotel in Hanoi...”
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in terms of attentiveness and customer service. The staff are fantastic. They go out of their way to talk to you about your day and discuss life in general in Vietnam. They are interested in you, where you are from and what you are doing. I arrived early for my first stay and was offered the use of a room until my room became available, they also gave me a room upgrade. I stayed one night then left for Sapa, when I returned the staff remembered my name and asked me all about my trip. Again my room was not ready (another early morning arrival) so they offered me a room to shower and wait until my room was cleaned and ready. On the morning I left I had an early flight and they gave me a takeaway breakfast. They arranged for my airport transfer. The hotel itself is lovely and clean and in a great location. Each room has a desktop computer plus wifi. You are provided with bottled water, toothbrush, shampoo, soap, sewing kit, shower cap, comb. They also bring you fresh fruit daily. The staff are genuinely nice people and I have already recommended to hotel to other people and I will definitely be staying here again if I get back to Hanoi. 10 out of 10 for Holiday Diamond Hotel from me.

we were a family of 4 travelling with our parents and are vegetarians. staffs at hanoi holiday diamond hotel are one of the best hotel staff we have ever met. they very very humble, helpful and manage this small hotel very professionally. the most impressive thing about the hotel was that it was spic and span as the hotel seems to be new. we were pleasantly surprised with what they offered for hotel of their size. while free internet is provided by every almost all hotels in hanoi, hhdh provided a desktop which was very helpful to us to plan our free and easy trip in hanoi. we would definitely come back to this hotel when we visit hanoi next. you get a first class service at budget rate.

I had a wonderful time at the Hanoi Holiday Diamond Hotel. It's centrally located in the old quarter, making it extremely convenient to walk to nearby restaurants or attractions. The staff was amazing, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Arranged an airport pick up and drop off for us, directed us to many great attractions in the city, and also gave us tips on where to eat local delicacies.

We spent one night at Hanoi diamond and was amazed with the staff's friendly and helpful service! The hotel is Near to the dong xuan night market (5-10 mins walking distance) and the old colonial squatters.. Its interesting to see how the locals live and work as we passsed the old squatters. We were thoroughly pleased with the staff's service as they always carry a geunine smile during our interactions. The hotel also assisted us with our train tickets booking prior our arrival and even offered to safekeep our tickets till our checkout day. They also offered us a room to freshen up after our halong bay without any additional charge. Unfortunately we did not use the service as we had to catch our overnight train to Hue. All in all, I was happy to stay at hanoi diamond. If u are looking for a cheap and clean accommodation, Hanoi diamond is to be recommended!

this is my second stay at this hotel, i have enjoyed each stay thoroughly. the hotel diamond, has the friendliest most helpful staff in vietnam. nothing is too much trouble for them. i have honestly not seen a group of staff work so hard, and they always greet you with a smile. the rooms are clean and well equipped. there is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space as well as gowns and slippers available. there is also a flat screen tv with a dvd player to use. this is great for watching dvd’s that you have just bought from the market. there is also wi-fi in the rooms or a pc for you to use. the beds are big and very comfortable, with a nice and quiet ac unit. the hotel is placed only a ten minute walk from hoan kiem lake, which is the hub of the old quarter in vietnam. the streets in this area have fantastic food. if you get stuck for where to go to eat some food the staff at the hotel will have a good number of suggestions. the breakfast in the hotel in very tasty and will make pho ga on request (which is the noodle soup). when i was tired and relaxing in my room they even brought me some vietnam tea. it was fantastic. if i return to hanoi i will only stay at this hotel. it is amazing value for money and nothing is ever too much trouble.
