Great location, clean room, pleasant temp”
We enjoyed our stay at the Gfour Holiday Hotel. It was right on the main strip, and an easy walk to the river and the snow/ice festivals. We were close to everything we needed. Check in was easy, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only thing was that our room and the rooms of all our friends had 2 single beds instead of a double or queen. Other than that, I did not have any complaints. There is even a little store in the lobby.

Well Located Hotel”
The Harbin GFour Holiday Hotel is well located in a street that runs off Central Street, a couple of blocks from the Flood Memorial and very close to the Songhua River where you can enjoy lots of activities on the ice during winter. Unfortunately the cleanliness of our room left a little to be desired. Overall it was pretty good value for money, especially considering it's location.

It was a very accessible to all places where Harbin is famous for such as Sophia river and Zhonyangdajie. I love the surrounding place within Gfour and we can relax at anytime and continue with our leisure after because of the nearness of the hotel to the tourist spots. Even the bus station is quite a minute or two walking distance.

Although I stayed for just one night, I found the GFour hotel's location very convenient for both business travelers and tourists. Proximity to the Central Street, main shops and the Sonhua river is the main advantage. The hotel service is fine, room are fine too. I thought it had a homey atmosphere. Thanks

Great location in the heart of Harbin”
cozy hotel in the heart of harbin at 50 meters from the pedestrian street, 400 meters from st-sophia church and nearby the river so optimal when staying in harbin for the ice and snow festival. the room are relatively small but quiet and the heater works well which is important when it's minus 20 outside.

Central location, warm”
Our stay was comfortable and warm. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the main pedestrian street and the Ice Lantern festival. The staff spoke very little English but were friendly and helpful. For Harbin, this is a very good price!

Comfy amidst a great location”
Great location, in between the main shopping district of Zhongyang Street and Songhua River. Relatively well priced for a hotel in Harbin. However, some of the stuff in the room is rather old and falling apart. Rooms could be kept cleaner. Other than that, a great stay.

nice room”
it's location to central area is a benefit. by merely 10 minutes walk, u can reach the famous church. breakfast is included and food are a lot. western and eastern food are prepared. to the harbin international airport, around $120 - 130 rmb from the hotel. i wont complain anything except unpleasant smell from the bathroom toilet. when we first opened the door, a strong smell greeted us and made us uncomfortable. we asked to change the room, but no room available that night. so we sprayed perfume and open the window let the air flow. i doubt if other rooms have the same problem.

The Harbin G4 Hotel in Harbin, China”
We came for the Ice Festival and got very lucky with this hotel. It is in the center of everything; short walk and you are there. This is very important in the winter, because it is VERY cold and you need to constantly warm up. Directly behind the hotel is "The Gloria". In front of the Gloria is the Songhue River where the festival takes place. Walking street and the railway are just down the street. Across the river is the ice carving festival park. Bring Chinese money and dress VERY warm in the winter. The hotel has English speakers and is clean, comfortable, warm, and has large rooms. We were happy and lucky with this cheap hotel; think we paid $38. Oh, cheap taxi to the airport - get a limo.

A Valuable and Comfortable Hotel”
The location of the hotel is perfect, it's near to many famous spots and there are many shopping center and restaurant nearby, There is a bus terminal that brings you to the northern part of Harbin City where many winter travel spots located. I highly apperciate tourist to go Harbin and stay in this Hotel. But one thing I am not satisfied is the attituate of the staff of front desk. However, if you do not exspect service like me, this hotel is really go to stay in.

Terrific service and best location in Harbin.”
we really liked this hotel. very helpful staff. you can easily walk to one of the "ice sculpture areas". tour group in lobby takes care of the rest with shuttle service included in regular price of entry tickets. walk to great restaurants and fabulous shopping. breakfast was varied and good. 24 hr. cash machines next door. what more could you ask. we'll stay there again.

Nice hotel for the price”
i stayed in this hotel for lunar new years. when i arrived the hotel staff did not speak much english. however, i was able to check in just fine. they charge a deposit (~ $usd) which you get back at the end if you have your receipt. be sure to keep the receipt!!!! when i went down later to try and pantomime my way through a question a very helpful concierge staff had come on duty and spoke wonderful english. the rooms were clean and nice. the location was great, being right off the central pedestrian street. this hotel is also right next to zhaolin park, where the lantern festival is held. oddly enough, it is in close proximity to a walmart, a kfc and a mcdonalds for any westerners looking for the familiar. it also has a small chinese mart right off the main lobby.

Good location but average hotel”
arrived in harbin very early in the morning on the overnight train and hotel reception allowed us to check in straight away with at least one of our two room available immediately and the second room made available soon after. hotel could also organise van to take visitors to and from the ice sculptures - well worth the extra expense for the convenience. internet was free and the convenience store down at the lobby saves the need to brave the cold for a bottle of water or bag of chips. hotel was right in the shopping precinct and close to the river. down side was that toilet papers didn't last long and daily cleaning was a bit lax - noticed that the toilet bowl and sink did not really get properly cleaned each day. rooms not very sound proof and other visitors can be noisy in the hall ways. overall not bad for a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is very nice, i enjoy this trip. I went to shenyang to the American's embassy, the reason why I choose K hotel because it is near to the embassy. It is a five star hotel, very nice, very beautiful. It has a nice night-view.

Gfour for 4 stars”
Well, the minor irritations was that during my stay they gave paper cups instead of glass ones and a few power points were not working. Also they do not let you fill the tub with hot water which would be nice to soak your cold body in. Guess they had to make sure everyone had enough hot water for a good shower.But the heating in the room was good and much appreciated in a -20 degree season. Location is super being next to central and shopping and dining was no problem. The housekeepers were very responsive and made our stay very pleasant. Definitely recommended. PS: The tour desk at the hotel was also extremely helpful and all our tours organised by them was enjoyable and pleasant.

there is nothing better than staying in this hotel in a cold winter. it is in accessible distance to basically 75% of Harbin's major attractions and shopping centers...the heater is powerful enough and there is a 24 hour store just in the lobby...restaurants nearby are good too

the carpet was the only dark spot (it was dirty, but like every hotel in china), otherwise pleasant stay, warm room and very convenient location... would be nice to have an english map to have a better idea of where the hotel is, when you only stay 2 nights it's tough to get situated on a chinese map

top location, clean, basics”
obviously for this price you will not get pure luxury. i thought price/quality it was worth it, and would stay there again. the lobby is quite old fashioned, but the rooms are ok. bathroom a little worn out, but clean. the bed was quite hard, but acceptable for me. the water in the shower would go from hot to cold and needed constant adjusting. the staff speaks (almost) no english. very close to the main walking area and the zaolin park (small park with ice sculptures) the little shop at the lobby sells at normal market prices, and is really convenient.
