Nice Hotel”

this hotel is quite centrally located to many of the attractions that one goes to harbin for in the wintertime: the ice sculptures on the main pedestrian street is about a 2 minute walk away. the river with all of its activities (hockey, ice skating, slides, horse and carriage rides, etc.) is about a 10 minute walk away. while the hotel is quite nice and the room was nicer than one will normally find in a standard chinese tourist hotel, i'm not sure it merits a 4-star rating. although perhaps i have a different definition. 3-star definitely--and perhaps even 3 1/2 stars.

Good Location!”

The hotel is well located close to the central walking street. The staff speak little to no English which made check-in a bit complicated as well as finding directions to events happening in the city. The hotel itself is comfortable but a bit "tired". If I choose this hotel for my next stay in Harbin it would be mainly due to the location.

Convienient and clean”

Right at the end of Zhongyang Street (the main street/mall), this hotel is best for convenience. Being there for the Ice and Snow festival I wasn't in the hotel much/nor use any of it's services except Wi-fi. Overall, a chain hotel that you can count on. If you're going for the Snow/Ice festival don't count on the staff really knowing about it... do your research first.

Convenient and pleasant hotel -”

It takes no more than 5 mins walk from the most famous attraction ZhongYangDaJie and the staff there are friendly and helpful. The water pressure of showers are not as strong as we expect. Besides the small size of rooms, it is a budget hotel and do not expect too much on the free breakfasts. Normally it is a popular hotel for tours and business meetings. If you are looking for a excellent location hotel and budget within 35 USD / night, it is the best choice.

Good Location near walking street(Bu xing jie)”

Breakfast included but i think can give it a pass. I will prefer to eat breakfast outside if not for the cold weather. Getting a taxi is easy here and we always get our meal from the bu xing jie which is 300mm away. The money changing facility do not seem to be common, they may come up with a unchangeable rate. This should be just a 3stars hotel, no wonder the price matches it

Overrated”

The hotel was overrated as a 4 star. The bed was super hard- we can feel the springs on the surface; the towels were worn out and yellowing and the floors don't look clean. However, the price and the location were great. If it was rated a 3 star, we would have been more forgiving.

Disappointing”

The only good point of this hotel is its location (2mn walking from Zaolin Park and Pedestrian street Zhingyang da jie). Everything is old and hotel hasnot been well maintained.

It was a nice comfortable hotel, though it is a bit old. The location makes up for it. The staff don't speak any English however they are friendly and attentive.

Horrible and costly - avoid”

Claims to be 4 stars but far from it. Room was dark, damp and smelly. The bathroom was poorly designed meaning when you had a shower it flooded. In the mornings the shower was not very hit and to top it all off, they only out the heating on in the evenings and it still didn't get hot enough. This meant my girlfriend and I both got colds and had to wear jackets in the room - it was during the ice festival so -20 outside! Also, walls very this so could hear everything going in next door and in the hall ways. Service was also slow and poor and the buffet breakfast started and finished very early and wasn't very good. We only bothered going once in our 3 day stay. Much better hotels for cheaper prices in the city.

Decent location, standard accomodation”

the beds are extremely hard - and although the agoda add boasted wifi - the hotel staff claimed it did not exist. decent location to experience the annual snow & ice festival.

Good location but not to standard quality”

next to the main street and have a few attractions within walkable distance. stay for 2nights. at night got disturb by people playing mahjong across the room so imagine the sound proof quality. they provide computer but the monitor is not working and no wifi service. the mineral water is not free. so prepare to pay when check out.

the hotel is little old, service is a only 2 star ”

room toilet is poor design, room interior is really old, lighting is not bright enough and cleanliness level is average. service is 2 star rated, the hotel staff only speak mandarin and loudly, communication style is really the of northern chinese culture, lackign the international touch. but it is an interesting experience!

Horrible ,uncomfortable stay”

1.Smelly,dusty,stuffy room. 2.Flooding shower area whenever you take a bath. 3.You can feel the spring pocket poking your body whenever you lay on the bed. 4.was told by hotel staff none of their rooms has bathtub, even though we booked room with bathtub from agoda website. 5.walls are so thin, you can easily hear people talking next door,or along corridor. No where near a four star hotel standard, we couldn't wait to get out.

What I booked and confirmed wasn't what I received”

I booked and received confirmation for a standard King size room. It was supposed to have a king sized bed, bath tub, dvd player, in-house movies, air conditioner and be 25 sqm. They put us in a standard room with non of the above. When I approached reception, they said they could do nothing. The manager was "unavailable" When I requested the manager contact me, it didn't happen. The room was small, hot and uncomfortable. There are plenty of other hotels in the area which I would recommend over this one.

Location was good but hotel room was a bit let down,hotel room looks old,it looks more like a 2 star than 3 star hotel.Hotel room not sound proof,can hear people talking,opening & closing dooreven when room door is closed.Bed is so hard,it's as good as sleeping on a wooden plank.Pillow is so stiff & uncomfortable to sleep on.

Surprises... the information listed is totally different than the reality. This hotel cannot offer bathtub, hair dryer, refrigerator, wi-fi and so on. fully out of date about hotel facilities. It is not fair. It costs to much for the quality they can provide.

L'hôtel est propre. La chambre est spacieuse. Par contre le personnel ne parle pas anglais. Nous avons dû demander à des clients de traduire pour nous lors de notre recherche pour se rendre à un parc. Le principe de caution pour la clé électronique est assez compliqué. IIl faut bien garder le reçu sinon le retour de la caution est problématique. Le petit déjeuner est chinois sous la forme d'un buffet que je n'ai personnellement pas aimé.
