Loved Every Minute!”
We came in shortly after Christmas for a family holiday and fell in love with the place. Its absolutely faultless. In summary of our recent visit:- 1/ The pool/ water playground is sensational. My family and I spend hours at the pool because my child loved the slides and swimming in the pool. Its also the 1st hotel pool that has life guards (not that we needed it) but definitely pool security assurance exists. Absolutely 5 stars. You can rent their floatie for a reasonable price. 2/ Location is beach and pool perfect. If you want to go into George Town, its about a 30-40mins ride on Grab, pending traffic conditions. Costs between $29 - $40+ MYR pending time of the day and demand/ availability of Grab drivers. 3/ Highly recommend the buffet breakfast in the morning. There are an amazing selection of fresh, delicious foods and accompanying condiments for the porridge. The food types ranges from Malaysian, Chinese to Western foods. The line to obtain fresh cooked roti is long because its tasty and people tend to order many in one-go, haha! Some of the varieties differs daily like the curry. Their sambal is great! 4/ The room is really cool, with purple lights and pictures of rock stars. Ours had John Lennon. The size is perfect as is the cleanliness. The rooms are serviced daily - yay! Wish the pillows were not so soft, some firmness to it would be better for neck support. We would love to return to this hotel again. We loved every minute of our time at this hotel. It was a relaxing holiday, where we went to the pool after breakfast for the duration of our stay.

Best Experience Ever”
This is my 3rd visit to this hotel. Their service was so excellent, staffs are so patient with my 16months old boy. The environment was so comfortable, which makes you feels like home. Breakfast was delicious. Room come with nice Seaview. Beds was good. For my opinion, it is the best place to come with family as they have the best water theme park. Will definitely come back again.

HRH penang has a great and among friendliest hotel staff ever. Room was spacious and clean. A good selection of movies available for kids. Love the ambient and vibes during weekdays. A really good place for a short gateway with family. Breakfast spread was okay but below than my expectation. Parking was always an issue at this hotel. Will come back again since kids really love this hotel.

We do operate both valet parking, and can offer reserved spaces at the hotel entrance for a nominal fee, these just need to be booked in advance. Had a great stay at HRH. It was a long weekend and a full house but the crew managed the guests well. Pool was clean, breakfast was a great spread with good coffee. lovely time at the spa. Super highly recommended!

My partner and I celebrated our Anniversary here for 4D3N and it was absolutely worth our money and our stay was perfect! ❤️ We even wanted to stay for another night but they are already full, everyday even on weekdays is Breakfast buffet, you will see a lot of family and might get a bit crowded sometimes but the service is always at its best. Breakfast is great, a lot of choices, pool is big and not too deep, sun lounge is also a perfect place to relax, has easy access to the Beach and the hotel is always clean. Our room is located at 3rd floor and the view is beautiful, room is complete with all amenities and tv is provided with downloaded movies ready to watch. Overall ,it was all a fantastic stay in this Hotel, I hope they will continue to provide this kind of service. Thank you we will surely come back!👌🏻🙏🏻

Perfect for Families”
What does an 8yr old and a 2yr old have in common? Love for waterplay! 8yr old prefers the pool, 2yr old prefers the beach. HRH is the perfect balance. Friendly staff, great facilities, abundant food choices both in and out of HRH. The only con of our stay is that the room is too dark for people with astigmatism like me. Alas I am only a rockstar wannabe. A real rockstar needs only a bed to pass out on, but a wannabe rockstar needs to hunt for missing slippers and fruits that have rolled off it's platter. You get your money's worth”
The staffs were very friendly and always ready to help. Hard Rock Hotel is all about music, so we get to hear that everywhere from our room to the swimming pool. This hotel is very suitable for bringing children as they have many facilities for kids and the pool is a kid's dream with all the slides available. Buffet breakfast had lots of varieties, food was ok, but relatively more expensive ingredients were not available (i.e. prawns, fish, beef, lamb, squids). All in all, it was a very comfortable stay, will definitely bring our kids in future.

Hard Rock never fails to impress me. Cleanliness was top notch. Staff were warm and friendly. They even sent a new serving of fries to my room as one staff accidentally threw it away. Small matter to me but their gesture is most welcoming. Awesome pool

Recommended Hotel for Family Traveller ”
Staffs are friendly and helpful. I rent 2 kids suite, the room is clean but the toilet is a bit small to me. Variety choices of breakfast. Hard rock cafe 's staffs are also friendly and foods are fine too. My kids were enjoyed and definitely we will return during school holiday

Amazing facilities - I would go again and again”
You go to Penang for food, relaxation, enjoyment and a bit of roaming around. Food in the hotel is great - including the buffet breakfast, and lunch, dinner at the two in-house restaurants is also very tasty and lots of variety including some western, Malay, Indian food. But you can go out and eat as well. We really likes Lebonan which is walking distance. Beach is right next to the hotel - it’s not that crystal clear water - but it does provide all water sports etc. Main highlight is the live rock music on Friday and Saturday nights. Definitely worth it. Rooms are great - with good views. Lots of things for kids to enjoy downstairs. The hotel is super secure as well.

By far nicest resort I've stay!! Friendly staff, concierge excellent service, friendly reception staff, breakfast top notch, every corner of rockstar display well and clean. Mesmerizing the Slipknot suit and mask. Sick rocking awesome!! Kudos Hard Rock Penang. Only one thing, bring back the band on the lounge even it's on weekdays. The rest, awesome. Keep rocking.

Exceptional service, friendly responsive staff who attended to our enquires promptly. Facilities were intuitive and well thought out. Not many 5 star hotels can claim this. A very family friendly hotel but still quiet enough for couples to enjoy their stay. One minor improvement - while i enjoyed the in-house music video channel, please have a mix of music videos (from 60s to 90s) not just one single style of rock vids...can be boring.

Totally worth every penny spent. The ambience, the enjoyment, will repeat again when i come to penang. My kids spent half a day at the pool and beach. So much fun for them. Staff and service was also excellent. Great hotel keep it up! Location btw is ideal and easy to get food.

Family from KL with 3 kids (7yo, 5yo and 2yo). Had pleasant experience here from the moment we stepped in. Stayed in Roxstar Kids Suite and it can actually fit up to 4 primary school/early teens. Had 2 tvs, tv in kids room have psp4. We didnt even have to go out during our stay as all are here to look for eg food, kids club, swimming pool, outside food (walking distance), close to beach. Would come again.

My second time stayed here since 2015, it was excellent, all HRH and HRC are superb friendly, kids friendly staffs and facilities , room well cleaned, food taste improved. We are family of 5 with kids between 11 to 5yrs old and we booked Kids Suite with PS4 and DVD provided in room. My kids enjoyed the stay so much and we definitely coming back.
