Good location and clean”
This is the probably the best choice for an American who is not comfortable being out of his anglosphere bubble, but doesn't want to totally break the bank. The room was clean, had speedy wifi, comfy bed -- basically everything you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express in America. For those more budget-minded, you can get a good clean room for almost half the cost at a HomeInn or Hotel 168, which are a couple Chinese brands.

Clean, friendly hotel.”
Staff were the nicest we have come accross in china. Greeted with a smile and tried to help out. Easy check in. Viking/buffet breakfast starts at 6am. Has an egg station, where you add all the ingredients u want and the chef fries it for you. Location is next door to the other holiday inn which houses a crowne plaza as well. 5min walk. You have to walk there to use the pool with your room card. It's in between two metro stations yanzhuang and zijingshan . 1 hour metro ride to airport from the zijingshan metro station. You may have to swap trains on the same line as some trains dont go all the way. About 10min walk. The Manhattan shopping mall located next to yanzhuang metro subway station, has a night food eating street next to it which has all kinds of local snacks. 10 min walk away.

As value for money this hotel is excellent. Its easy access to all major features of the city is a great benefit. The rooms are clean, they are not too small for the single or couple and provide all the expected facilities. The hotel connects to other hotels via interior walkways and this provides excellent opportunity to use facilities of other hotels such as lounges and dining etc. For a Westerner the breakfast was quite good. Cereal and bacon and eggs and all the things most expected are available. Coffee is OK and service is effecient and friendly. I will use this hotel on future visits to Zhengzhou. I am a frequent traveller to Zhengzhou and recommend this hotel for Westerners.

I was only at this hotel for 1 night on business, but it was a comfortable hotel with very good value for money,serves a god western breakfast. I would stay there again if I have to make another trip to Zhengzhou.

Stayed 1 night at the Holiday Inn express.. checkin, checkout was efficient. The rooms were clean and quiet..and modern The lobby is connected to crown plaza and sofitel which has a nice lounge to chill out. Would recommend it. Price was reasonable.

One of the more economical hotels in Zhengzhou that can accommodate foreigners. Very comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Buffet breakfast wasn't great but I would happily stay there again.

this is a good place to stay although this was my first time to Zhengzhou. Taxi and buses available to expo centre , shoping mall and railway station. Shuttle bus terminal from air port was nearby. Service good and clean.I will back to this hotel if come to Zhengzhou in future.

Excellent experience”
The staff were very friendly and helpful they had a high English level. On check in I was given a room instead of suite as booked but as soon as I notified them of the mistake they were apologetic and quick to rectify the problem. The suite wasn't going to be available for another 30mins so they allowed me to rest in the original room until it was available. The staff were knowlegable whenever I asked a question about how to get somewhere or where something was located. The breakfast had a good selection of both Chinese and Western. The staff made omlettes on request and they tasted great. The rooms were all very clean and well kept and the housekeeping staff friendly and helpful. The beds are soft (not too soft though) and have a selection of peoples labled firm or soft for guests convenience. There was a mini bar in the room. There was no hint of cigarette smoke in either the room or suite which makes a pleasant change from most hotels in China. It was a bonus to find that there is a free shuttle between the hotel and the East fast train station. The purpose of my stay was to get away and relax which I was easily able to do here.I would definitely stay here again.

Good value for money hotel”
the purpose of our stay in Zhengzhou was to visit Shaolin temple, so key consideration for hotel selection was price level. From this perspactive this hotel is a very good value for money. Otherwise, it looks like a strictly business style hotel. I would not recommend it to people who intend to stay in a hotel for more that one or two nights and exepect some facilities and entertainment.

The room are different from the photo shown in agoda. Had complain with the hotel but they refused to give what I had pay for but said that the responsible of agoda, I hope that agoda could correct this mistake as soon as possible as this case had made me very disappointed. The room are lousy as what I paid for. But the breakfast were very good.

rooms are very nicely done, reception is very pleasant, very good work of reception, English speaking people are a few, but exist, very good breakfast, cental location is closed to everything, hotel is clean, has all the necessary appliances, free internet in the rooms.

Very dad luck on that day”
Due to a lot of hotels in Zhenzhou did not accept foreign guests (I was canceled booking by one of the hotel just 5 mins before I reached there.) on that month, I was forced to book Holiday Inn online 10mins by mobile phone before checking in. But when I reached Holiday Inn, they said they did not receive my booking from Agoda, so I have been waiting at the lobby for 45 mins but they still didn't receive anything from Agoda. After that, Hotel told me Agoda system down, so they let me checked in first. After I settled in the room for 1 hour, several plainclothes police officer knocked on my door and said wanted to check my room. After some conversation with the officer, they said they checked wrongly. I complained to the hotel lobby, but they said they didn't know about it. I just felt that it was not safe to stay in this hotel. Why if those people was not real police officer, then I might be in trouble.

comfortable and service oriented”
Despite being a happy man staying at this hotel, the flip side is the traffic jam. Nothing to do with the hotel, but I hope something can be done to the traffic outside the hotel. Having said that, the hotel was very welcoming and my stay a pleasant one as the staff were very accommodating to my request. And Agoda too, they handled my cancellation professionally.

the hotel was nice and staffs are friendly. the room is considerably small but comfy. i don't really like the bathroom though, it's very small and not comfortable to move around. it is also reasonably clean. nice hotel with good value of money! it is located in "hotel complex"

Overall it's a pleasant stay in this business hotel where it located at the center of the city and easy access to other part of town. The hotel's restaurant also provide good foods. At last I must praise the warm hospitality from the hotel staffs and much better than other hotel experience in China

Great staff and room but no wifi in room”
Great friendly staff, good clean room and bath with a very comfortable bed. Location good - walking distance to local restaurants and the airport bus.
