My family and I were really surprised with Hotel 81 Premier Star. We didn't expect much because it is a budget hotel and most of the reviews are not really good. But we were really surprised when we arrived at the property. It is near the bus stop, quite a walk to the nearest Aljunied Station. The area might be filled with brothels but it was not a problem at all. It is also near convenience stores and fast food restaurants. The room are small but spacious. It was newly renovated, very clean and comfortable. The staff are also very accommodating. Overall, we loved our stay!

Hits: - Close to Aljunied station, approximately 8 minutes walk - There’s a lot of restaurants and convenience store nearby - Staff are helpful - The room is nice and clean. They clean it everyday if you want it to be cleaned - There’s free bottled water, coffee and tea everyday - They have basic stuff that you need; mini ref, blower, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, electric kettle Misses: - None that I can think of. This hotel is perfect for my liking.

Room: Triple room is very big, comfort, clean; the toilet might be small for some people, but it is good enough for us. Location: Around 10min walk to Aljunied MRT. Before we book, we knew that Geylang is a red-light district. But when we stay there, it doesn’t make us feel uncomfortable. Overall the area is good. Quite convenient. Overall is good, recommend.

All staff are so attentive and nice. The room is very clean. Great location, just a 10min walk to Aljunied station. Many stores, markets, malls and restaurants around. Lobby is always smelling so fresh and cool. I feel at home whenever I arrive at the hotel. Keep it up!

Stayed here 2 nights. Room and bathroom not big but very clean. Location is very near to Aljuned MRT station. A lot of small shops and good street kitchens around. For me the perfect sray in SIN. I would come again.

The room might small but enough space for couple. The cleanliness is ok still found the dust in the corner of the room but acceptable as it's not much. The bed is comfy and the AC is good and. The problem must be wall is too thin so you can hear everything but as I go out through out the day so it's not brother me much. The location is great, 7-10 min to MRT, bus stop is just 2 min away and surrounding by a lot of restaurant and mart. Staff is very helpful, early check in is possible and more bottle of water request too, as well as luggage storage.

They allowed us for early check in and late check out. They also kept our luggages prior to our flight. They also lent us a room to quickly change our clothes and we can even take shower before going to the airport. Location is very accessible. Highly recommended!👍🏼👌🏼😊

Location is good , walking distance to two subways lines , which makes it easy to get around . Lots of little places for food though we haven’t visited any of the restaurants nearby. Sometimes theirs rooms can smell like cigarette, but the staff respond quick and is willing to change rooms . Their hotel staff is very informative and fairly willing to share travel info . Rooms are kept clean on a daily basis . Besides , value for money in Singapore . I have stayed here for more than 4 times .

Will book again on my next visit to Singapore. Already recommended the place to colleagues who will visit Singapore this year. Pros: - Tired from travel and they allowed us to checking early and we really appreciate it since i'm with my pregnant partner. - The place is a minute away from the Bus Stop and 10 minutes walk to train station. - Food courts and other cheap places to eat are nearby. - Accommodating Staff. - Clean and spacious enough room. Cons: - Money changer is far. - I can't tell if the 2 in 1 shampoo is shampoo and conditioner or shampoo and body wash. Recommendation. - I can see some guests looking for money changers nearby so I think it would be a great idea if the hotel has their own money changer service. It's a win win situation for tourists and the management ($$$).

Clean Place with value for Money”
The room is clean, great shower, nice TV channels which includes Internet Youtube. Good Internet connection. The only concern for us is, from Al Juned MRT station, it is quite a walk where you have to cross 2 main roads to reach Geylang 18 street to the Hotel. Oterwise, nearby the hotel, there are shops selling fruits, 7 Elevan etc....

This hotel is really nice room, it’s renovated. The location is in red Light District but if you don’t care it’s fine, they’re not gonna do anything to us. The hotel is in the various food street we love it. It’s about 15 mins walk to MRT. Overall the room is good and clean for this cheap price! Can’t complain.
