To wake up, I really love to make a cup of coffee before going to the breakfast buffet. In this hotel you have a Nespresso machine in the room. Perfect, fresh coffee every time! And, of course, new capsules every day. Connected to the rather big TV, an excellent sound system that even has a sub woofer. A perfect beginning of the day! We didn't need it as we just opened the windows, but there's air conditioning. Not many hotels have that in Germany. Can be nice on a hot day. U-Bahn (subway) is just a five minutes walk away. Bus 100 stops in front of the hotel and brings you directly to the main attractions with a very cheap ticket. Very nice beds and a 5-star worth bathroom – we'll book this hotel again when in Berlin!

The superior room was wonderful,I loved the krups coffee machine,the bed was big enough. The only negative for me was the curtains which weren’t too dark and every morning I used to get up early.

Price, location and quality of room was great. My only criticism is in their marketing. As a family with a young one we chose a particular type of room based on their description and photo on their website. (A superior room). The room was nothing like what is on their website. It was a lovely room but lacked certain things shown in the photo. I can only think that they have done up some rooms very recently which now feature on their website but they are not typical of the 500 rooms they have. There is a supermarket 6 mins walk away. 20 min walk to potsdamer platz and the zoo in the other direction. Easy public transport to/from airport and all over Berlin. Would stay again.

Room was fine, cleaned daily. Location was good and it is worth purchasing the Berliner pass in order to get around on the trams/underground. Only criticism, is that as a guest of the hotel, I was unable to eat in the restaurant in the evening and was only able to order bar snacks.

It's a huge hotel (700 rooms) but everything works great. The staff is very professional and always there to help you out. The breakfast buffet has plenty of choices (sometimes the breakfast room gets really crowded, but that does not cause any problems). The room I stayed on the 5th floor was cosy and renewed, with two single but extremely comfortable beds and a huge (42'') TV flat screen. The cleaning facilities were great,each day we had our towels changed. The hotel is located in a quiet area, close to Nollendorfplatz Station (5 min on foot) and right across the hotel entrance is a bus station, from which bus no 100 passes almost every 5-6 min and can take you to the city center within 10 min. Finally, you can buy the Berlin Welcome Pass from the information desk in the hotel.

We arrived and pur room was noto ready yet, so they give US for the same price a more expensive room. The area is very close to the centre, very well connected and close to the Berlin zoo: an amazing park to havea walk. The common area in the hotel are very cured. The room was amazing and clean. Such a wonderful surprise forma the price We paied. Oh: 12€ a day to rent a bike and no problemi forma check-in or check-out: yoi can leave luggage there if you arrive before the checkin and if you have to leave later than the check-out form free.

I the centre of Berlin this large hotel faces on to a quiet park. Once understood, access to city busses and subway is easy. Staff are very friendly, rooms comfortable and clean. Would definitely return.

Our stay here was fantastic! we fell in love with Berlin during our 4 nights here and the hotel exceeded our expectations on most fronts. There was only one major negative for this hotel and that was the cost of the breakfast. It was $21 euro extra per person. At $42 euros a day, there was no way we were going to pay tht amount. It also makes it the most expensive breakfast of any hotel on our 3 month holiday and that includes a few 5 star hotels. On the plus side there was a fridge so we supplied our own breakfast.

The stay was very comfortable and close walking distance to Tiergarten Park. Also good restaurants not far from hotel which we visited every night. The breakfast was extensive and considering the amount of people staying, the service was very efficient and clean and tidy. The city was easy to get to on the Bus No 100 which also took you to the bus station to catch the airport bus. Concierge was very willing and helpful. He knew his stuff.

Super breakfast, good location, bus 100 - the "public tourist bus" - stop is a few steps only, though metro is a bit far away (especially if you are with small children), maybe 10-15 mins walking. Tiergarten park, Zoo is close. Not too many shops or restaurants around the hotel, but there are some more within walking distance. Room has modern design, it is clean. Fridge is useful. Staff is helpful, but there are lot of "trainees", they are less experienced. At arrival the front office staff did not acknowledge that my rate included breakfast, so there was some easy dispute, after all they checked it in their system more thoroughly and found I was right, after that there was no problem. There were some minor failures in the room, upon request (and repeated request) they fixed them (or at least most of them), but only the following day. Altogether, the 4 star is deserved, but there is always space for improvement.
