Good but not worthy”
If you are getting at 1500-1800 Rs then it is well and good but not more than that... Quality of amentities degraded from last time... They provides comparatively bad rooms to online booking guests... No table, sofa in room, tv have bad cable hardly find any channel to watch....

if you are planning to head out to gangga river ghats try to stay near to ghats. this hotel near below 4 KM to ghats but traffic around this hotel very bad. only can travel in auto/small vehicle if travel in bug vehicle you will stuck in jam for hours. wasting of time.

Not good experience, crowded locality infront of railway station. Bedsheets not clean, in washroom dirty washbasin, dirty commode, old bucket provided. Not recommend anyone.

The food at the hotel was really pathetic both their buffet breakfast and also the Ala-carte. Moreover the staff there are not so friendly.

Superb hotel, simply fantastic rooms”
We had fairly poor experience in the few days we had spent in UP until we came to the City Inn. It was like an oasis in a desert! Very clean and tidy, the rooms were a joy to behold. The staff was attentive and helpful yet unobtrusive. I would definitely stay here again and again and again.

the hotel is located very close to the varanasi junction railway station, only 3 minutes walking distance. hotel itself is all right compared with other hotels in india. the restaurant in the ground floor is recommended. good value for money.

Great except for 24/7 traffic noise”
Almost everything was quite ok except that we could not get any sleep because the bedroom windows are not soundproof; Varanasi drivers seem to want to honk their horns constantly, 24 hours a day. If you want to take a shower after a day out in the dust, be prepared to call reception several times until someone actually comes to the room and calls reception themselves. Buffet meals in the restaurant are good. Internet works well in reception area but weak at best in the rooms. Shower is not enclosed as is often the case.

Safe place in busy location”
Well, this hotel is in extremelly noisy place opposite of Varanasi junction railway station. Worth of price they ask, staff ok, often problems with hot water, bathroom in our room in need of reconstruction, expect just place to stay overnight, that´s all. Gaths about half hour by riksha from here.

Close to rail station”
I stayed here one night to be close to the rail station for an early AM train. The hotel is not bad, relatively clean for an Indian hotel. The restaurant is the only place nearby that you can get anything to eat and it is mediocre. They couldn't make my first three choices from the menu, and the simple thing I finally chose was very unimaginative. WiFi is overpriced, but reasonably fast.

Great lobby but dirty rooms”
The hotel is in the middle of a refurb - my room has open ceiling exposing the electricals, was dusty and building finishing incomplete. Not only that...the bed had dirty sheets, you could clearly tell they had been slept in. I requested for a change of room, only to realise the sheets there were dirty too!! Disgusting. The location was terribly noisy all through the night with the beeping of scooters and the trains. I thought my bed was actually on the road at one point. Has no sleep in 2 days. There is no wifi in the room. Only in the lobby which they charge by the hour. Very expensive. Good points: The travel desk was very helpful and kind. Very professional and polite. The lobby is a decent setting, and the restaurant serves good food and good service.
