Located in Prime area”
Duparc is a saviour as we felt that podicherry is over rated tourist destination. Slightly priced on the higher side. We liked the deluxe rooms with French look. Breakfast was decent. Just opposite go vinayagar temple. Stones throw away from the beach. Nice hotel with skywalk type elevation where enjoyed some coffee and nice pics. Staff very friendly and cooperative.allowed us for early check in. (4 hours early) Located inside French colony. Cons: Slightly overpriced (ok if it is in ur budget) Breakfast spread can be better. Especially continental. Ventilation is less in the rooms. Overall if you want a different experience staying In a French style room in budget you can opt for it as other French style hotels are at least 40% higher priced. I must say the price is a bit on the higher side as they have only 9 rooms .

Wonderful experience”
Our stay at Du Parc was absolutely awesome, the first day was a dampner with the A/C leaking , we had booked a standard room. though the technician was immediately called he was able to sort out the problem only temporarily. when we informed it to the hotel staff, they were extremely apologetic about it and requested us to bear with a day since all the other rooms were booked. The next day they shifted us to the suite room no 2 , with no extra charge . which was very sweet of them . the room was awsome . The restaurant at the hotel also has some good chefs since whatever we ordered was very tasty, all in all would definitely stay here every time i visit the city

Beautiful property”
Best location as apart from Aurovilla everything is at walkable distance from this awesome property. Staying in actual hotel and heritage hotel are totally different. We can feel french colonial in this property. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is also good. Only missing is swimming pull but can be compromise over bath tub. Overall 10/10 stars from me to this Hotel.

Quaint heritage building in French Quarter”
We enjoyed this hotel. It is small, with only about ten guest rooms surrounding a pretty courtyard. Although it is located on a noisy shopping street, it is at the beach end of the road near the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and it is cordoned off from the commercial area with little traffic and very quiet. A former residence of French Governors, it is an old building with somewhat antique plumbing, but it is clean and everything worked OK. I am a vegetarian and my husband is a vegan and we found the hotel food so good that we ate there every night. Being a small hotel, the Breakfast buffet range was small, but an adequate choice or, if you like, combination of South Indian and European continental choices. We had a lot of fun with the friendly staff, always felt safe and enjoyed the location in the old French town near the beach and parks. We walked a lot in Pondicherry and always felt safe there. Highly recommended for a three star hotel. We would stay there again. Internet connection was reliable.

Lovely and convenient place to stay”
The hotel is in the heart of the white town and rock beach . The suite room was very spacious and felt like an heritage room with very minimal modernisation. The breakfast spread is less but tasty and more than sufficient . there are no amenities or space to keep the little ones occupied so be prepared if you are travelling with kids . there is A2B and surguru veg restaurants at walkable and hoping distance . the staff was very accomodative and helpful , they even offered to help me get some medicine that I needed for my kid - gesture much appreciated . the only drawback is that you will have to leave the car parked out on road as they do not have pvt parking. loved the stay overall.

Well located character hotel.”
The hotel du PARC is an old Colonial building with lots of character. It is well located and very pleasant. We enjoyed staying here. However, whilst not bad the breakfast could have been better. I would rate this hotel as 3 star as it does not have the level of luxury you would find in a 4 star hotel. It is, however, still a good place to stay in India.

Lovely French Architecture and Very Helpful Staffs. ”
My friend and I arrived early in the morning before the 12 PM check-in check time and needed a place to do our yoga practices. The manager was very kind to let us use the suite room while they getting our standard room ready. However, at the end, they upgraded us to this suite room. Breakfast was very good with fruit cuts, cereals, juices, coffee & tea, and South Indian breakfast. Great location with 5 mins walk to the beach. Close to many restaurants and rickshaws. Though, one thing to mention is that air is not circulating well inside the room as this is an old building. But, by turning on the air conditioner and fan would help with this issue. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who are visiting Pondicherry.

Hotel Du Parc is so well located. It's a stone's throw from the Ashram and Vinayagar Kovil. The hotel itself is charming, breakfast is a bit basic and utilitarian, but sets you up for a day of exploring. I'd definitely stay there again.

Comfortable but looking tired. ”
The hotel is lovely but looking tired. Nonetheless our stay was comfortable. The rooms are style in an old French style. They're pretty and very functional. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Air con was good. Facilities were a little lacking. The room had a flask for fresh water but it was never filled. Hotels usually supply complimentary bottled water all over the world, particularly in Asia. The restaurant was a disaster. The food was edible but the service was really disjointed and there seemed to be a total lack of understanding of what a hotel restaurant should be like. Breakfast was pretty abysmal. White or brown bread that you toasted yourself in a toaster that looked like it would electrocute you, butter, jam, stale crossiants and, on one morning, juice. There was also a solo selection of cereal with what appeared to be cornflakes on offer. It really wasn't worth going to breakfast. The best thing about this hotel was its close proximity to everything - shopping, the waterfront, the park, restaurants and being in the French quarters, it was relatively quiet - we've discovered "quiet" is a luxury in India so this was a big plus. Everything was walking distance.

Beautiful Heritage Villa”
Beautiful Heritage villa right in the heart of Pondicherry. Near to Aurobindo ashram as well as Marine drive. Nestled in trees. Quaint with only 9 rooms. All furniture antique wooden. Great service from staff. We were travelling with a small baby and they were really helpful everytime we needed assistance. Hotel could do though with a little makeover paint is chipping off in places but that was really a small worry. I will definitely recommend and stay the next time. In pondicherry

One of the best in White Town”
This accommodation is probably one of the best in White town area. Very friendly place for kids and family. Excellent breakfast buffet spread. The restaurant also has good menu for Lunch and Dinner. Just opposite to the Ganesha temple and very close to beach. Clean Rooms, Good Wifi, excellent breakfast, polite staffs and nice location to spend the weekend.

To start with the staff of the hotel are extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast is limited but good enough. Location is a 10/10 - exploring French Town as well getting on ECR to visit Auroville. The rooms are kept clean and the air conditioning was good. The bathroom is a tad dated and can use a bit of a do over however housekeeping was good. Would definitely recommend this property for its location and staff.

Pleasant stay in the heart of White Town”
The rooms were clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped us arrange transport to catch our flight in Chennai. The location was pretty central in White Town with a lot of places easily walkable. Came during August and it was super hot, so most of the walking was in the evening.

Lovely relaxed property. ”
The french architecture with the forest vibes and clean rooms makes me really like this hotel. Its right next to the rocky beach and ashram. The rooms are biiig and clean and really an experience from your typical hotel rooms. Staff smiles and help you well. Breakfast is alright but the restaurant is a good place to sit. It all fits in nicely in the relatively small hotel but it works. There is a sense of openness. Id recommend this if youre okay paying a slightly higher lrice range but youll get great location. Clean big rooms, insta friendly property.

fantastic management”
Had a initial hiccup as I had arrived there by 8 am and the normal check in time was 12. I had requested for early check-in, but as that was a weekend they were full so we were asked to wait. They arranged for a rental bike in no time by the time we were done with our breakfast, they got us a room. Management was very helpful. Awesome location, everything that u want to see except auroville is at walkable distance. This is the very first time where I have experienced a very fast checkout. would highly recommend this hotel any day. 🙂
