            Hotel Marivella is just off the A-2 Motorway, 7 minutes’ drive from Calatayud. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, TV and all the rooms have a window to the exterior. The Marivella’s restaurant serves traditional Castilian food, specialising in roast lamb. Breakfast includes coffee, tea, milk or chocolate milk and 1 pastry or toasts.             When we got there is was well up to expectations and the staff were great.”

            Room was good, and clean. Cafe was also good with very helpful staff both in the evening and morning. There were plenty of parking space.
            As usual with hotels in Spain it wasn’t the easiest of places to find. The post codes in Spain cover a massive area and as a result are of virtually no use, equally the address can sometimes be in a variant of the Spanish language that car satnavs do not understand. We started off, having followed the built in satnav in our car, finding ourselves about 5 Km from the hotel and it wasn’t easy to track it down. This is a problem with most hotels in Spain, and not specific to this place.

            Very clean, the room and facilities. The food are great.
            It was weekend so many people in the hotel. They need to put someone in the reception so that the incoming guest will not wait to be attended. Nobody was there when we arrived because the owner is also attending people in the restaurant.

            Great location en route to southern Spain. Good value for money. We had sleet and hail then rain soon after arrival. We were relaxing in our room when water started to drip through the ceiling onto our bed. the staff were brilliant. We (and others) were immediately allocated new rooms. The staff continued to serve whilst trying to clear up the mess. they were brilliant.
            Nothing really. We would certainly return despite the difficulties.

            Location, good for travelling, just off the motorway and near to Calatayud and Monesterio de piedra. Very clean facilities.
            The staff were not very professional - and some looked downright untidy. Our bill at checkout contained an overcharge of almost 50 euros though the mistake was quickly rectified. The restaurant cooking was not up to the standard of the facilities. The selection of food available was extensive but not prepared with care.

            Nice people, clean, food was OK, excellent location.
            Very noisy people talking very loud in the corridors until 0200hrs and 0645hrs!! There should be sings to ask people to be quiet. The room was very small.
