A pampering spa with a sauna, a large pool that connects to the Jacuzzi (just have to make sure the water is warm and everything is perfect). Room service also comes in the evening to fill in the blanks, a rich breakfast with salmon and smoked salmon, rare in hotels. (Just add a bubbling champagne and the breakfast is perfect). Very near public transport. S Bahn And U Bahn very close. 200 & 100 buses stop outside - as good as hop on/off tour bus. Close to good shops. KaDeWe is just down the road 10 min walk. Choice of 2/3 U Bahns close by. Lots of breakfast places if you don’t get it at hotel. Fab pizza restaurant over the road - l’Osteria. Pizzas are HUGE, share one. You can get anywhere in Berlin from this hotel. I can’t recommed it enough. Fab stay here after New a Year. Our honeymoon for five nights. We’d stayed here before for a night. Will definitely be back

Exceptional”
Upgraded to a club floor room which was spacious with a comfortable sitting area. The room had everything I could possibly want. Both the reception and kitchen staff were excellent and Christian did an excellent job with a quick checkin process. The breakfast buffet had such an amazing of choices - it is good value for money. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Disappoint when I check out”
I go to Berlin for business trip only myself. I planed to give all 5 stars, but after I check out I want to give some of the item only 4. The reason as below: When I check in, the reception told me if I book breakfast the price should be 21/day, so I booked, and had breakfast 4days only me. But when I check out, I was told need to paid 2 persons. I explained only me, after checked by reception then only paid for one person, but why add a 30Euro booking fee in reception, tax no problem but why the booking fee didn't be told when I check in?

Came across many unfriendly and almost bordering on rude staff. Many service difficulties and shortfalls experienced throughout a 3 night stay. Not at all as expected from an LHW 5* hotel.

I was upgraded on arrival and stayed in a beautiful suite, the hotel facilities are great especially the Spa. The breakfast was excellent and to top my visit the staff were professional, helpful and friendly. All in all I could not ask for more during my stay at the Hotel Palace Berlin... well done i will definitely be booking again!!

Lovely 5 star hotel with the best breakfast ever”
The location was excellent with easy access from the airport and then to travel in Berlin. Staff were friendly and informed. Best breakfast that takes you through lunch as well. There are a lot of rooms in the hotel so it was a long walk from the lift but not a problem. Will be back when in Berlin next time.

the hotel is generally very clean and comfortable and the service staffs are very friendly. the room service is prompt and the manager going around ensuring quality service. the fitness centre and pool is managed together with the spa. the facilities are new, clean and the pool is very well maintained. however, very few people are using it. the breakfast is good, however no daily change of varieties especially i am staying for 5 days. the internet service is very expensive compared to other parts of the world. but they do have a free internet access at the lobby which you have to use under pressure from people in the q.
