Thanks Hotel Sea View for making my Kanyakumari stay pleasant. I liked the experience and the hospitality provided by the hotel. Before the check-in, the hotel was very responsive on my online queries and requests. The hotel is properly maintained and in a nice location. The hotel staff was courteous. Above all, I loved the food served by the hotel restaurant. I requested for an early check-in and a late check-out and the hotel fulfilled my request without any extra charge. Thumbs up.

Good location”
The hotel is located at a very prime location, from where most of the main sightseeing destinations are at a walkable distance. Also, go for a Sea facing room, it is worth the money. Sunrise and Sunset can be viewed from the room itself if it is a regular sunny day. The staff arrange for an extra movable cot with mattress and blanket at a fixed price. The TV is a normal one but around 100+ local cable channels are there to enjoy the stay in the room. Enough charging points are there. Also, the Sea view restaurant is very good. I was not expecting the taste or freshness of seafood in a restaurant attached to a hotel. But it was too good. The prawns and king fish are of good quality and taste at an affordable price. The Parking is ample for 10 cars or so, the staff will arrange the parking before the restaurant or outside the gate. So nothing to worry about the parking. The toilets are not up to the mark. The restrooms stink and are unclean by the standards of the room. The toilets looked like a normal non-AC room toilets, this could have been improved. There are not many extra facilities to call this hotel a 3+ star hotel. No hair dryers, no mini-fridge, no lockers, no extra bathing accessories and toiletries are provided even after requesting. The staff members are polite and helpful. Overall this room is an above-average room with respect to facilities, but the location and view-wise (for sea-facing rooms), I would rate it higher.

Excellent location ”
Always go for Corner Deluxe Room. It has long windows on two wall directly facing the Vivekananda Rock. It also has a balcony. The view is fantastic. You can see sunrise from your bed itself. Hotel was under renovation so some compromises. Breakfast is moderately good. There are some options nearby as well. Location is excellent and staff courteous. Some communication issues due to English language is there but manageable.

Clean rooms and good mattress but the bathroom is small and water flows all over the place when taking a shower. Breakfast is passable. Restaurant is good and one of the few non-veg restaurants in the area.

Average Experience”
Location is good, walkable distance to most key attractions. Classic sea facing rooms were big and view from window was nice. Room service was poor, they didn't have batteries in tv remote and when I called for it then nobody turned up. Bathroom plastic stool was broken and bathroom was shabby. There was a church just outside my room window whose loudspeaker started at 5 am in the morning and was very disturbing. Breakfast was average both in terms of variety and quality.

Actually we booked for 3.5k per night and this hotel was not at all worth what the are charging, room size small and bathroom are also small and only good part is they have good location, so everything nearby, except that I did not find this hotel good. Unnecessary charging high and do not give facilities also, pls try some other hotel on kanyakumari

Good room, excellent view obscured by filthy windows. Continual calls to housekeeping to supply missing items/rectify faults. No functioning shower. Whole building needs a thorough clean. Meagre breakfast in chaotic surroundings. Bar a disgrace.

only the Location is good. Substandard Rooms Definitely not worth for the Money for this standard of Hotel. Hotel doesn't Even had an Iron Box and No Hot Water in the Night. Broken Fan Control which runs in High Speed. Small Bathroom.

Pros: Location is good, as close to the sea shore, however, there are local houses between sea shore and building, so you need to curtain the window mostly. You can view the sunrise from the window early in the morning, no need to walk to the sea shore. However, mostly due to clouds sunrise is not that great. The corner deluxe room has a much better view than the rest of the rooms. The hotel staff is courteous and helpful. Cons: The room walls are full of dirt, and stains. The room interior feels like 2-star lodge room. The bathroom has dampness and is smelly, and the toiletries are of poor quality. Breakfast is of low standard quality. Food quality in Kanyakumari is not that good, especially if you are a north Indian vegetarian. It's a very old-built property, they are charging 4k/room just for a sunrise view, which IMO is not worth it. Advice Look for newly built properties, they may not provide sunrise but have sea views and better amenities, e.g. Annai Resort
