Hotels near Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan Kuantan

I last worked in Kuantan 12 years ago. My wife and I came back to see my former employee get married. I picked the Zenith on the basis it was a new hotel as I would normally stay at the Hyatt, which is undergoing modernisation. I read some of the comments from previous occupants, and I was put off by some of them. From my point of view this is a quality hotel, with genuine staff that see to your attention be it ordering taxi to giving information. We had planned for a three night stay but decided on an extra night. The shower is the best I have used with safety flooring that drains away the water to a gully hence you have no fear of slipping. The bed was quite comfortable so there was no problems in this area. Food was good from breakfast with many choices to the bar which offered light meals which I was happy with whilst listening to the free cabaret in the evening. The main meals where very good, and offered quite a number of choices. The Chinese restaurant will take a bit of getting used to as I expected what I ordered only for them to serve one piece at a time. Funny as it was. We are travelling up the coast to Kota Bharu and will return to the Zenith hotel for our last night in Kuantan. Proof that this hotel is worth staying in, be it for a traveller or for business use. 5 stars.

The stay was marvellous. I can park my car with ease. Not many people bring their car I guess. There is Mydin wholesale shopping in front of hotel. Everything is cheap here. But look out for the quality. Some of the goods are good quality despite being cheap. I love Kuantan food. I drive to Tanjung Lumpur for the so many sea food restaurants and warongs there. The foods are really good although a bit pricey. Its easy to find eateries around the hotel. All within walking distance. I give four and a half star for the location and presentation of the hotel. I will definitely be coming back here hoping they still maintain the level of comfort and cleanliness that they have now.

Location - Kuantan Mall located within walking distance just in front of the hotel. The hotel located in between of Kuantan Mall & Kuantan Megamall. Parking - Street parking (marked with yellow box) & basement carpark is provided for hotel guest. But the ramp to the basement is quite steep. Be extra careful if your car is lowered. However there are plenty of car parks available around the buildings/shop lots. Breakfast - Good varieties of menu i.e. egg station, breads & muffins, local menus, cereals, porridge with selection of toppings, hot drinks. Room - For info, only deluxe room fitted with OKU friendly facilities. I traveled with my parents (with some disabilities) but apparently the triple room comes only with single beds. The hotel got me free upgrade for deluxe room with extra bed & breakfast. I am very thankful for your initiative and couldnt hesitate to extend one more night here! Other facilities - Surau at 1st floor (Event/Function Hall) was not OKU friendly at all.

i'm not that familiar with kuantan town and went there to visit a sister in the hospital. so checked out a few hotels via several websites and decided on this hotel base on price and location. for rm140, we didn't expect a four star facilities but were happy nonetheless for that price. the room was not overly small nor spacious; just nice for us with a 12-years old son. toilet was alright and clean. but the view, my lord (for anything natural must go back to the creator :) ) i like the view very much. it's overlooking the kuantan river and it's very serene to watch the boats go by their business as the sun goes down the horizon. breakfast the next day was also alright for that price. nay, with more than 3 choice of dishes for that price, it was more than alright. it was good. i would give excellent if only they had an omelette station ... i love omelette! overall, i would stay here again.

Location: HSK is in Kuantan City Centre and opposite Sungai Kuantan. The location is too good because closed to Masjid Negeri Pahang (cross the road) and also we can find the bank at there. Padang MPK is the famous place to hanging out with family. Attractive Places: Teluk Cempedak, Pantai Sepat, Gambang Water Park Public Transport: We can take the Rapid Bus to attractive places such as Teluk Cempedak (200), Pantai Sepat (401), Gambang Water Park (100) at in front of Masjid Negeri Pahang. Within 1km, we can go to Kuantan River Cruise at Jetty Shahbandar (opposite General Hospital Kuantan), will be able to see the modern skyscraper buildings along with the traditional fishing village settlement. Mall: East Coast Mall (take any bus in front of Masjid Negeri Pahang to Hentian Bandar, drop off at UTC & 3min walk to ECM),Berjaya Megamall (take Rapid bus 200). Food: Can find many seafood restaurant @ Tanjung Lumpur (take Rapid bus 401) / Closed to HSK have 1 cafe (Kula Cake's-less than 2min walk) Staff & Facilities : The staffs very helpful & facilities are good

im staying here with my husband and my 1 year old son. the room is medium size for small family, but not suitable for family with more than 2 children. the room is clean, toilet is ok, not dirty. i chose this hotel because it has swimming pool and the room price is affordable. the pool not so clean, and the pool for children is not too suitable for baby less than 90 cm is think. my baby cannot sit inside the pool, the water level is too high. the location is very strategic, at the centre of Kuantan city. it is near Pasar Malam / night market located at UTC every Saturday night. and it is near mosque so for muslim, we can hear the azan very clearly. overall, i really love staying in this hotel. will stay here again if i come to Kuantan.

Going to Kuantan for a short food hunt trip and rebook this hotel again. My friend was so happy to see the room condition and the hotel area. The room is clean and spacey. Thick curtain can block sublight if you need to sleep more. Very big bathroom and good water pressure on upper floor. If you really need a place to park your car just look infront or behind the hotel you can get you spot all the time since the parking lot if big. I wont hesitate to come back here if I ever be in Kuantan again

We came with 2 young children. Of course in the beginning, we did not get the room we booked which was more spacious with windows. The new room given was more smaller with no windows. It was a bad impression. However, the room was not that bad though without a window. We did not really know was it raining or not outside. But the breakfast, was really the highlight of our stay. As an apology from the hotel, we were given 2 additional free breakfast aside from 2 we were given during booking. The food was exquisite especially the freshly pressed apple and orange juice. It was one of the best fruit juices I have ever tasted before. The staff were friendly and their hospitality was really appreciated. The location was excellent but if you are from west coast you have to take a uturn at one of the most busiest road in Kuantan. It is near to amenities and quite convenient. Will stay here again if we have the chance. Highly recommended!

I visited this hotel ever since I was still a student in Kuantan until I'm married and visiting with my husband for a quick holiday. Everything is CLEAN -- the room, floor, bed, toilets, towels (my super priority) and nice. I've never had a problem checking in or a problem with any of the facilities. I'm a frequent late checker-in, and the staff constantly calls to confirm my attendance and also accepts really late check ins. If you're looking for a really spacious room then maybe this is not for you. But if you're okay with neat, tidy and spotless rooms (which has enough room to perform prayers btw), then pls try the hotel . I myself will come back every time. The hotel is walking distance to the new Kuantan Mall, and situated in rows of restaurants and shops. The location is right smack in the middle of the Kuantan town -- so equal distances to the town, to the beaches or other attractions. Parking is not provided but parking is ample. Recommended :)

The hotel location is strategic just in front of Pahang river. Very comfortable, quite place and suitable for couple honeymoon stay. Quest should not worry about food either you are muslim or non muslim, there are verities of food choices. Plenty of muslim and non muslim restaurant especially Chinese dishes. Transportation wise, although the hotel wouldn't provide shuttle but they (hotel staff) are very helpful to serve you. They are excellent staff. We wish they can continue their excellent services. I would like to recommend quests from oversea our local to stay in this hotel. Affordable price and nice place to stay in Classic Kuantan Hotel. Thank You

I get big room..More than enough for 3 pax... The lift quite hard to press the button.. Room is clean, but a bit smoke smell entire room.. I book for a non smoking room, but they gave me smoking room.. The soap dispenser difficult to press.. Breakfast is okay..just simple Overall, its okay...Worth the price..cheap and you can get big room with Kuantan Tower view on you window.

Hotel was just open for business a week ago. Modern room design equip with basic room amenities and facilities (hair dryer, water heater...) I like their super comfy and soft bed. Their WIFI are fast, i am getting about 80mpbs internet speed which i can enjoy my online movie without buffering. Convenience location 7 eleven , supermarket, 24 hours self service laundry, kopitan classic [enang delight and kemaman kopitiam are within 5 minutes walking distance. Definitely will come back again when i back to Kuantan.

Unique platform bed design especially for room with queen mattress. This wooden platform is big and raised high at bed level so that nobody will step on with shoes and dirty it, comfortable for additional mattress to be added. Very recommended for travelers with budget. Location very near to Kuantan city center, parking are ample, the environment is cozy and all basic necessities for a guesthouse are included.

Mr Matthew was very helpful and being very friendly. Our room was clean and nothing to feedback on cleanliness. We will come back again just because of Mr Matthew, with his smile and fantastic customer service and ensure we get the proper service while we staying there.
