Hotels near Turkish Market

Me and my partners stay here was great. We went to Berlin for the Christmas markets and to see all the historical sites and we couldn't of choose a better place to stay. Pros Super close to checkpoint Charlie (end of the road) Great location to get around Berlin as there are 2 stations that connect to 3 underground lines 5 minute walk away Close to the shopping centres, potsdamer platz, mall of Berlin and Sony centre a 10 minute walk away. Our room was clean and modern Hotel was clean and well staffed (24hr reception) Staff were really friendly and helpful. Close to cafes and a few restaurants. (Would suggest taking a 5-10 min walk to the cafes for breakfast as it's cheaper then in the hotel, €10-15 for 2 people) They have a bar, occasional live music. Close to a great Christmas market if you go in December. (gendarmenmarkt is 10 minute walk) Con Internet was a bit patchy in our room. FYI: there is construction work in the area, but the hotel can't do much about that.

i stayed at angleterre for the full 12 nights while in berlin. i was given exactly what i was expecting, clean room (smoking) which allowed me a check in time at 3pm which was okay. decent windows in the room for good ventilation. the television has all the free/cable channels when i felt bored. housekeeping is efficient and supplies replenished every day. the only thing that bothered me at certain times, was the slight odour emitting from the bathroom, not so much a big deal as shutting the door kept it in (i guess to get it fixed, the room will have to be vacated for major plumbing works and it was bearable and i was only in the room in the evenings, so no big complains about it)- the best thing i like of the hotel is, its just opposite or adjacent to coffee shops for breakfast, lunch & dinners for very affordable prices. convenience shops are just adjacent for train tickets, also a 2nd-hand shop nearby for more affordable materials i.e garments/books etc.

The hotel is near the city centre, 1.5-2 km walking. Near there are supermarkets, restaurants with chinese and turkish food. The neighbourhood îs an imigrant one, though pretty quiet but not very clean, as you would expect at Berlin. The room is big, clean . The bathroom as well. Unfortunately it is very hot, not being climatization . Pretty quiet, IT is next to a street with duble dense.

I needed a place to stay near family and I'm so happy I found Hotel Prens in the exact location I wanted for easy access to them. I will definitely stay again on future visits. The room was to the rear so was very quiet and no light pollution, which I really appreciated; it was very warm and there was lots of hot water. It had all one needed really, though no kettle in room, which would have been nice, also a bath sheet would be preferable to bath towel. It is so easy to get around from here as it's only meters from Schonleinstrabe U-bahn on U8 line which also makes for easy access to Schonberg Airport: U8 to Hermanstrabe and change to S45 to Schonberg (roughly 50 minutes to/from hotel) The area has all the shops and restaurants you could need including a market beside the river on a Friday. Being so near the Landwehrkanal there are beautiful walks along it's banks. I didn't have breakfast because I was visiting family so I cannot comment on it, but it is available.

We selected this hotel because its fare was competitive, and we were very impressed by its design and interiors. Our room had adequate dimensions. We appreciated the appropriate storage areas as well as the safety-deposit box and the flat-screen TV with international programming. The shower was impressive, and the bathroom amenities were quite nice. Everything seemed new! All staff members were courteous and efficient. For sightseeing, location is not exactly the very best - but this property still offers relatively easy access to all tourist attractions. For future visits to Berlin, we will be happy to consider this hotel again.

I had a lovely stay at this hostel. It was the week of the Champions League Finals so other hotels where I would normally stay were booked out or HEAVILY overpriced. I managed to get a single room for less than 50 bucks. I also had a look at the shared dorms and they seemed fine. My single room was not very spacious, but had a comfortable bed with ensuite bathroom & shower and there was a TV. Breakfast was good and location convenient. Recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! When we made our booking, we had requested a smoking room with early check-in. Upon arriving at the hotel, reception staff promptly fulfilled our wishes. All staff members with whom we interacted were cheerful, efficient, and fluent in English. The hotel is modern and very well kept. Our standard room was truly spacious and comfortable (it even had a nice outdoor balcony). Storage areas exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed all the amenities - complimentary coffee and tea of high quality, large flat-screen TV with international programming, in-room safety-deposit box, and refrigerated mini-bar. The hotel has a pretty good location close to Friedrichstrasse. If you stay on a Sunday and arrive by car, chances are high that you will find free street parking just a few meters from the hotel (perhaps even right at the entrance if you are lucky). Because everything went so well, we will surely consider this property again if we return to Berlin!

We had a great stay at Berlin in this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a perfect location for our needs, within 5 min walks to S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations, and with some good restaurants nearby (we had dinner twice at the German restaurant across the road, and just loved it). The room was quite spacious compared to other European hotels we've stayed at, and also very clean. The breakfast buffet was also a standout. The only thing that did not make this hotel perfect was that free internet was only provided in the lobby, and not in the bedrooms; however, this was only a minor setback, as sitting in the lobby was very comfortable and we were allowed to unplug a lamp when we were running out of battery. In our opinion, this was one of the best value for money we've stayed at in Europe.

Quite a disappointing Hotel, Firstly Agoda listed this as 4 start, it's not it's a 2 start. No fridge in the rooms, room cards keep cancelling meaning you always have to go to reception to have it recoded. Computers did not work in the reception. Expensive food and drink for a 2 star. Good points are, the hotel is in good location close to the underground and a few local sites. There is free parking on the street around 10mins away so do not bother paying the 17 euro a day fee.
