Good Hotel in general, except ..”

The rooms are great. Not as spacious as their sister hotel, but nonetheless cosy and nice design details. Restaurants are good, beautifully designed, but when we dined at the Chinese restaurant there I wished there were more choices on the local cuisines, and not Cantonese food which honestly, mediocre with its standard. Breakfast is great - lots of choices with fresh produce. Not bad at all. Then comes the spa.... we booked a massage session trying to relax after a long and dreadful work week, upon arrival at the spa we were guided into the rooms, again beautifully designed, fully padded floors with mattress inlays, lighting dimmed to the perfect level, we got changed and getting ready for our long waited relaxing session. Masseuse walked in, background soothing music on, room temperature set, heavy eyelids... ready to indulge.... then 5 minutes later, Star War music pumping into our room! Soon we realised the banquet hall located directly below the spa rooms are rehearsing for a corporate annual dinner or some sort, our relaxing experience was COMPLETED RUINED. To be fair, Star War soundtrack ain't exactly my choice to be my massage background music. The noise disruption pretty much lasted the rest of the 55 minutes. We dd asked the masseuse but understandably they can't do much about it. We later asked the hotel manager to reflect this incident, although he did apologised for the 'misfortune', nothing was done about it.... RMB 1,400 (price for massage) down the drain... I do think that the Puyu is a good hotel in general (nice rooms, lobby lounge...), but needless to say I was very disappointed with our experience in the spa, and how the managerial staff has done nothing about it - I do expect a reasonable explanation & compensation gesture to show that the hotel value the guest's experience, and not just 'looking good'.

We had a comfortable 2 nights Very enjoyable ambience. Good size room and well maintained. Relaxing feeling. Definitely value for money. We found the hotel a little difficult to get to driving. This hotel is definitely very different in layout to any hotel I have stayed at. Little confusing to begin with but once accustomed to it then easy to navigate. We found the aircon was hard to regulate and dried the air very much. Hence plenty of free water. Overall I would stay again but probably not my first choice.

Exquisite”

My husband and I stayed at the PuYu for 5 days while I was at a conference and Dave was sightseeing. We were both very impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Exceptional facilities, beautiful vistas providing a modern design esthetic but with clear chinese cultural references (yet not with a fake dragon anywhere to be seen!) Will absolutely stay again. Sadly we only had time for a single foot massage at the spa but we will be remembering the pain, pleasure and relief for a long time to come.

Pleasant Stay”

The stay was very pleasant. It is a bit expensive Hotel. The Restaurants could be kept open for longer time in the evening. The room service menu could also include more items suiting international travelers

the hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. however the location is poor. hard to get taxi. no taxi also wants to go to the hotel...i probably will not stay here again as it is hard to get transport.

Five star service hotel”

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful and service oriented. Got a free upgrade and room was big and comfortable with good room amenities except that they run out of bath salt which is surprising for a 5-star hotel to be running out of stock without timely replenishment.

Family stay - 2 nights over the holiday season. Would recommend this hotel. Staff were excellent. English spoken well by many of the staff

1500 yuan for a poorly lit, dirty king room. Comforter had bloodstains and hadn’t been washed. We were creeped out by the dark dungeon-like decor. Not worth the stay to celebrate a special occasion like this.

夏休みに子供たちと一緒に滞在 内部は博物館のような静謐さに溢れた、クオリティの高い内装。スタッフは対応力に優れた気持ちの良い振る舞い。食事はカフェで朝晩といただきましたが、噂に違わずとてもどれも吟味された素材で調理も素晴らしい！今後はここが定宿になりそうです。

첵크인 할때 오후 4시가 넘었는데도 방이 준비가 안되었다고 한것이 문제였지만 라운지 편하게 쓰게해주고 미니바도 그냥쓰게 해주고 한국 인천 하이야트에서 너무 야박하게 군것하고 비교가 되더군요
