You have the unique opportunity to go trekking on the slopes of the Western Ghats and view the immense local biodiversity. The water bodies such as waterfalls, natural pools and gurgling streams ensure complete relaxation. Nightfall is a time to experience star-gazing, the joys of local cuisine and village stay. Mala is also close to Karkala, a small town which is the home of Jain cultural heritage sites.

“Wrong location on agoda 30 km away from the real location”
We went past that location went 30km ahead to realise the location on agoda was wrong. Then we had to come back 30 km basically wasted 3 hrs because of the location. The room is decent enough with large dinning area. Caretaker hosting us was really sweet and served good food but it was a challenge to convince them at 6pm for dinner at 8pm so if you need dinner please let them know 7 hrs in advance.
