God location, good business rooms with desk & chair”
Pros: * walking distance to the train station * REWE grocery store is 3 minutes away by foot * Subway is right around the corner * room had a solid desk for laptop work * good cushioned chair, albeit a little too high and not height-adjustable * nice bouncy bed, though not impressed with the linens and pillow * very helpful staff * noise-insulating window * mini-fridge * clean; some stains on the carpet but not an issue Cons: * no A/C, but there was a fan in the closet * noise from the train station but the window sound proofing is really good at reducing most of it * elevator was broken one of the 6 days I stayed there * water was shut off for about 6 hours during one night

Pros: * located in a mall including the train station, 5 minutes walk from the platforms * 3 minutes walk to the REWE grocery store * Subway around the corner - great chicken fajitas at around 5 EUR. The hotel breakfast cost 17 EUR. * lots of taxis always waiting by the train station, but Uber is ~15% cheaper. * room had a solid desk for laptop work * also a good cushioned chair, albeit not height-adjustable * clean room; some stains on the carpet but not an issue * very helpful staff! * free city public transit card Cons: * No A/C, but there was a fan in the closet * Noise from the train station, but the window soundproofing does a great job at reducing the noise. Not an issue if you keep the window closed. * The elevator was broken during one of the 6 nights I stayed there, and the stairs were not marked clearly. I got lost and ended up in the basement. * The water was cutoff during one night as well.

Something goes wrong every time”
Last time I stayed there, I had zero reception with both my mobile phones and different providers, and the WiFi didn't properly reach my room (these issues seem to exist permanently unless you book the BUSINESS category), this time there was no hot water (!!!) In the entire building during my one-night-stay. The front desk manager was apologetic upon check out but "unable" to offer me any compensation for my current stay. While the location inside the Ostbahnhof Station ist convenient, they really need to get their act together!

Clean Comfort Hotel Inside of Ostbahnhof”
The hotel is inside of Ostbahnhof station, so convenient if you travel by train. Meal prices seemed reasonable though we didn't try, as there were quite some small eateries inside the station, and fruit market in the backside. Another advantage is you get a free city transportation card with the booking. The room was clean and comfortable, though really basic. The maid might misplace or throw away by mistake my luggage belt while cleaning our room, for I never found it the day of our departure; it remained quite a mystery.

It was a heatwave and as there is No A/C in the hotel or the rooms it became unpleasant as the temp went over 35+ outside and the room was on the sunny side ... we also did not have hot water for one day, they cut the water a day earlier than announced in the elevator. The check in is VERY late , after 3 pm ! We arrived at 9 am.The area is still Very east German, but two stops from Alexanderplatz. The best was that we could travel for free on all the buses and trains while staying at the hotel. Staff friendly. No free Wi Fi...

Muy buen hotel a un precio inmejorable”
Hotel ubicado al lado de la estación de Ostbanhof, a pocos metros de East Side Gallery y con todas las facilidades de transporte. Además, por hospedarte en el hotel, tienes tarjeta de transporte durante tu estadía y gratis. La habitación estaba muy bien, la ducha era un poco estrecha pero funcionaba bien. Solo mejoraría incluirle aire acondicionado a las habitaciones.
