I would not say it is close to the airport. The taxi fare was 15 euros from the airport. Still, it is a very nice hotel.

Good For Airport Stay”
I stayed here for an overnight layover. The room was pretty clean, the bed was comfy, the aircon worked well, the price was good for the area, and it is only 10 minutes from the airport. I took a taxi over and the free shuttle back. Taxi fare was €15. Would stay again.

A standard charmless but functional chain airport hotel ”
This is the second European Intercity Airport Hotel I have stayed in within the past month. It takes about 20 minutes on the free shuttle bus to get to it from Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1 or about 10-15 minutes by a Euro 20 taxi ride. The reception can get very busy when a shuttle bus arrives, but the staff were efficient and friendly. The hotel architecture is boring but functional and the internal decor similar. The room is charmless but the bed was very comfortable. I opted for the Intercity Frankfurt Airport because it was about Euro40 cheaper per night than most competitors and overall I think it is good value given that.

Clean and nice but little far from airport”
Room was nice and clean and worthy for money, but I was at airport at 4:00 pm and the first shuttle bus at evening was at 6:30 p.m. So I had to call up a taxi on my own expense which I felt as a bad experience in terms of customer support by such a good hotel.

Each step to yourself...”
... that was one of the words of wisdom written on the wall on one of the staircases. Well, the hotel is certainly not a reflection of myself! To be fair, the rooms are spacious, nicely air conditioned, practical. All the bedding is synthetic, but that - regrettably - seems to be the standard in most hotels these days. The night for around € 100.- is not too expensive either. Keep in mind though that you need transport to get here from and to the airport. If you take the hotel shuttle it will cost you € 10.- per person each way (kids go free), a taxi between the airport and the hotel will set you back by roughly € 20.- each way. The hotel is totally isolated between a runway and a motorway (windows are very well insulated so noise is not an issue), but - unless you pay for transport again - you will have no choice but to eat the hotel. The food is not excessively expensive, but it is not good either. I had the dinner buffet and frankly - I was disappointed with the quality, and that is putting it mildly. Great and friendly staff in the restaurant though. I didn't have breakfast so I cannot comment on it. If you fancy a coffee there is a machine, but again € 2.- for an espresso and just under € 4.- for a chocolate bar seemed excessive. All the hotels in walking distance of the airport terminals are more expensive, but be aware of the additional cost for transport and the stark limitation for choice of food in the evening before booking.

hard to find if you drive ... also the counter staff are really slow. room doesn't have reasonable good sound proofing and the AC is really noisy. Shower water pressure is low and squeeze

Good for Business Travellers”
I was on the transit at Frankfurt airport so an overnight stay was needed. I selected this hotel knowing that it is close to the airport and provide services with reasonable price. The hotel offers free pick-up with a large-size shuttle bus from the airport which is pretty convenient. The staffs at reception were professional and English proficient. The service provided suits well if you are there for self-service. The room was a decent size. Surprisingly, there was not so much noise from the aeroplane taking-off and landing even when the windows were opened. The breakfast was compatible to a 4-star hotel with variety of dishes. Overall I highly recommend this one for the travellers who are just passing by.

Intercity Frankfurt Airport Hotel was a great value not only b/c of the price. It was conveniently located very close to FRA airport. The room was very clean and current designs. The staff offered great service and the lounge or Pub had a nice mix of an international menu. High recommended!

We thought the hotel was excellent for what we needed. It was close to Frankfurt Airport and we had to overnight before our connecting flight. It was a very hot summer day and there was no AC but each room did have a fan. There were several options for dinner - either the bar or the dining room. The bar suited us because we could watch the world cup! Overall the hotel was clean, staff were friendly, shuttle buses were freqent and on time, breakfast was excellent. We would stay there again if we had to stay in a hotel close to Frankfurt airport - it was very convenient.

this hotel was really close to frankfurt airport, taxi fees from the airport were euro13.50 and the hotel shuttle bus was euro5.00, the shuttle bus pick-up and drop-off at terminal 1, in the a part of the terminal. hotel service was friendly and check-in and out were quick. the room was large, and well equipped. bathroom was a bit small, but adequate.

Hotel is perfect if you need to be at the airport, but too far from city center if you plan to visit Frankfurt. Plenty of parking at the hotel if you come by car. Right at exit 23 on A5.

Convenient, quiet, clean & comfortable.”
The hotel has it's own shuttle with the hotel name (Intercity Frankfurt Airport Hotel) on it and it departs every half hour. From the airport there is no charge. Follow the shuttle signs outside the terminal and continue to the end of the ramp. The ride takes about ten minutes. The hotel charges 5 euros per person for the return journey. Hotel reception staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast is very good.

I arrive at about 11 pm at Frankfurt airport and had to take the flight the next day. The shuttle arrived in 25 minutes. The staff at the reception was friendly. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was quite good. The shuttle service from the airport was free - however the hotel charged Euro 5,- for the trip from the hotel to the airport. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a transit stay as it is close to the airport
