Very good hotel, the warmth of the staff was extraordinary ”
Good location, we had a fort view room and the view was splendid. Room had standard modern amenities. Warmth of the staff was exceptional. Be it the housekeeping or at the coffee shop. We had a meal at a city restaurant, but it was terrible so we had rest of our meals at the Hotel. They customised the food to our taste. Overall cleanliness and service we very satisfactory. Suggestion: to improve the toilettries at the swimming pool, improve the kids play area, host some cultural programmes at the hotel.

The best Hotel in Jaisalmer”
We had a marvellous stay, the staff is very courteous helpful and willing to help at any given point. I would specially like to mention Mr Bharat bhushan for making special arrangements for my wife‘s birthday at a short notice he took us around the whole property and gave us each and every detail. The food was „nonpareil“ specially Paneer Rezala made by Mr. Jaspreet! This is definitely the best place to hop in for a weekend or a long vacation. Kids will definitely love kids play area „Crayons“

It is one of the best location in jaislmer for stay. Dinner buffet was great specially lal mass I loved it..we asked for child medicine. They didn't had the medicine we asked for but they provided us within minutes form outside..breakfast had lot of varieties with great taste. I loved overall service . It's 10 out of 10 in all departments...

Not a worthy stay”
Best thing about Rajasthan is their hospitality and Marriot jaisalmer completely missing this. No grand welcome. No one was there at gate to receive. No welcome rituals. No cultural programs. Very few staff. Their roof top restaurant is not functional. They are providing covid as a reason but then why swimming pool is functional. No one is wearing masks. Property even is not so good. Service is so slow that you need to ask multiple times if need anything. Better to stay at suryagarh.

So I had stayed in the damodra camp a night before I checked in JW.. the experience there was amazing.. but JW looked too closed area.. there was no night cultural activities.. we had no sighting of sunset n sunrise. Or even bonfire ..food was good though.. but I recommend people to stay in camps if u have children.. they wud enjoy the view of many birds n feel like they lived in a desert and camps also have amazing cultural activity in night But good luck to u guys.. highly recommend this property for weddings

Not a Value for money”
It’s not worth spending exorbitant price for this hotel. Hotel is good with nice ambiance, but very arrogant and rude receptionist, for a special request she asked to change huge sum of money ( if rooms are ready why any early checkin charges), food is good, rooms are sizable but dark stinking bath area, bath lock broken. RO refill water served but ideally with a price of hotel, they would have offered proper packed drinking water. As compared to other Marriot property, it’s inferior quality. Not worth paying such high price.

The room we were sent into had pan stains on the floor, un washed commode with stains and stains on the bed head board. How can they call this property a 5 star is beyond me. It was an awful expwerience and will never ever trust a Marriott property again, though this must be an monstrous aberration

Mosquitoes in the rooms No Covid guidelines It took the Bathroom slab to break down to get the rooms changed (thankfully no injuries) Problems with checking in (delays and almost no welcome) Written emails to management but no responses… Avoid the property (no value for money)

Possibly the best service in the world”
Stayed for only one night, after our flight from Delhi to Jaisalmer was cancelled by Spicejet at the last minute. The airport opened for commercial flights just a week or two ago, so that wasn't a good sign. But the Marriott Jaisalmer is an exceptional hotel. Admittedly, the hotel did not seem anywhere near full, but the personal attention given by staff was (almost) overwhelming. I stay in many hotels for business and pleasure, and their service was second to none in some 40 years of travel..

From the beginning till the end we had a very warm welcome from the staff. We felt at home. The staff treated our daughter like vip. From leaving sweet treats at oure room and from a present when we left with a sweet goodbye . We want to thank the staff and the manager for the upgrade .
