A hidden gem in Jhansi”
We were in Jhansi on the way to Varanasi and stopped over for two nights at Jhansi Hotel - we chose this hotel as there were great ratings on Agoda and Google. It definitely lived up to the ratings - there was complimentary pickup and transfer from the hotel! The bathroom was very contemporary and luxurious design with tiled floors. Teas, Coffees, Hot Water Kettle, Toiletries just everything was thought of - oh and bottled water which was complimentary for the first two, and filtered water available on request. Breakfast - Great service, variety and had South Indian favourites (Idly, Dosa), juice and Western foods (Cereal, Muffins etc), so a good variety. Well mannered, and reception spoke a English very well (and understood my Australian accent which is quite tough to understand!) Overall, a great stay and the only thing I regret is not selecting the hotel package which included dinner!! Keep up the great job!

The hotel has an appealing spacious look and the rooms were of a good size. It is not close to shops etc so topping up for snacks needs to be planned. The restaurant was good though we were a little disappointed when they advised that only vegetarian dishes were available due to the Thali festival. No problem with that except it should have been advised before we ordered and not after our entries were ready. Traffic noise could be a problem for light sleepers.

How you guys destroyed Jhansi stay for me!!!”
Pathetic staff. Assumes a lot.!!Need loads of training in terms of handling complaints from the customers. Don't care attitude only works because there is hardly any competition! Hotel is really clean though. Food is good. But please don't bring in Mineral Water when the customer hasn't asked for one! Or have the decency to not charge for one when you are giving it to a Customer and he isn't aware that it is chargeable!! Lastly, when you are charging for the 'Extra person' then why are you making that person pay for the breakfast and rest all can eat free. When everyone is paying and getting breakfast complimentary than why one poor soul, should end up paying?? Trust me, your staff's mannerisms are pathetic!! In fact, calling them 'pathetic' is like being really respectful!!

Good, clean hotel in Jhansi. We stopped for a night and it was a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped, staff if courteous and prompt. Their restaurant is also good and no need to go outside for food.

Staff was polite. Good location. Only problem the geyser does not work well during the day - only early morning you get good hot water. The room we were allotted had some technical problem with the A/C which I feel the hotel should have checked before allotting the room. Due to which we were inconvenienced for almost 2-3 hrs so we decided to move out of the room till it was set right.
