One of the best hostel I've stayed in Asia”
For me its the #1 Hostel in Singapore. Friendly staff specially Jeremiah my friend. Near the LRT Kallang Station, we bought the tourist card with 3 days unli ride to LRT/MRT and Bus and it saves us a lot of money in transportation. With that card all the top 10 attractions in Singapore can be reached easily. Jeremiah (staff) my friend gave a lot of tips even route and shortcuts. The best breakfast in town its unlimited too... Highly recommended place to my friends and colleagues. Til then Joyfor Backpacker, We'll shall return. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Extraordinary Experience and Community”
Nothing and nowhere in the world that I've been to can beat this hostel experience with a friendly and genuine community. Me and my colleagues all felt at home and much of our needs (even humor needs) were attended to. The staffs, particularly, contributed to our holistic Singapore experience. Sean welcomed us along with his colleagues at around 4am - stayed awake just to give us a warm welcome. Throughout our journey in Singapore, the crew and Joyfor community brought us clarity and guidance in how we can hack our Singapore trip to make it authentic and budget-friendly. The owner, on the other hand, is humble and accommodating - greeting each one of us and sharing stories with us despite busy schedules. For the place itself, I am hands down with regards to the value for money. The rooms plus the self-service breakfast exceeded the amount we paid for. The rooms are decent and the comfort rooms are totally clean. In short, booking this hostel is not just about the decent comfortable accommodation, but it's about the story, people and community behind it. For the rest of the hostel communities, there's so much more to learn from the Joyfor family. Thank you for the priceless experience - I want to give this a 200% rating if allowed to!

The best breakfast of all hostels around”
The hostel is great for one of the cheapest in the city. What makes it stand out from the other hostels around is Shaun on the reception, very friendly and helpful guy who makes you feel at home and welcomed, as well as the breakfast (bread, butter, a few flavors of jam, milk, cornflakes, nutella, peanut butter, tea, coffee) compared to bread, butter and jam in the other hostels. Also, they clean the dishes for you, so the total service is pretty good. The location of the hostel is very good, right next to the green train line station Kallang which connects you to the city center on one side and the airport on the other end. The area is full of cheap food compared to the rest of the city even some places with unbelievably cheap for Singapore, like 2.5SD for a portion of noodles and a piece of deep fried boneless chicken meat. The hostel is very clean and fairly good looking with all the necessary facilities like hot shower, lockers and desktop PCs with good internet connection. Highly recommended for the price!

Great for backpackers”
Shaun was really helpful in giving tips about where the tourist locations were and how to get there. Location is awesome, Kallang MRT is less than 5 mins away. Singapore itself is easy to get around once you've got access to the MRT. Joyfor is at the red light district but it is not as dangerous as one would think. Good for backpackers. Cleanliness is acceptable. Wifi can be pretty bad though especially at night when travelers return and everyone is using the wifi. I would come back here next time though!

My 2 nights stay at JoyforHome”
My 2 nights stay at Joyfor backpackers hostel in Singapre was a plesant one. I stayed in the female dormitory, the room was spacious with 4 bunk beds, lockers and fully aircond. The bathrooms were clean with hotshowers, toilet paper and shower gel. Breakfast was inclusive serving toasts, peanut butter jams, cereals, tea and cofee. The stuff was helpful and fast, I got checked in in few minutes and my luggage carried upstairs. For $24 a night in Singapore, Joyfor is the perfect shelter for a budget traveler.

Clean & safe haven for budget travelers”
We had a nice stay at Joyfor and enjoyed making new friends with the staff as well as other travelers. The staff are always happy to help and suggest things to do. We stayed in clean rooms with comfortable beds. The common showers have hot water and the free wifi even works fairly well in the rooms. You get your own locker in the room for valuables. The breakfast is basically toast (all you can eat) with various spreads, jams and nutella. Joyfor is a short walk from the mrt station and you can easily travel to all the tourist attractions that Singapore can offer. We had a great stay and can only recommend this place to any travelers on a budget.

Hostel receptionist are very accommodating (Sean) assist you in a friendly and nice way, request granted easily with no hesitation. Free breakfast that will save you from spending and looking for a place to eat. So if you want to have a safe and good place to stay for a backpackers like me, you better book here at joyfor home for bagpackers and you may feel that you are at home ..

i came there alone, and i enjoyed staying there so i keep extend my length of stay. why would i choose the hostel ? 1. They have ladies room. 2. Good location and easy to reach from Kallang MRT (2 minutes walk) and bus stop. 3. Wifi is soo good. 4. Clean rooms and bed sheet. 5. Sometimes the bathroom is stinky and no clothes hanger. i hope the would fix it. 6. The staff and land lord is nice, and they willing to lend hairdryer to my friend. And thanks to Jeremiah, thank you for lending me electric plugs, you accommodated me very well. i will come back soon ;)

I had a nice two nights stay @Joyfor. It's really worth more than the cost. Friendly environment influenced most of the whole guests, I had a nice two new friends. Joyfor is a highly recommended place to stay in Singapore, no hassle. You don't even have to worry about it's location..it's totaly safe within days or nights. thank's Joyfor.

Sean so far is the best host we ever met. Very hospitable and accommodating. We are supposed to share the room with 5 other persons but he gave us the entire family room only for me and my husband for 2 days. Will definitely recommend the hostel to all our friends and will definitely will stay @ Joyfor for our next visit!!

The rooms looked new. However, there were only two cubicles in the public bathroom. Jeremiah and the rest of the staff were very nice and accommodating. We really appreciate that. I was also happy with the breakfast since there's more variety compared to other hostels. I highly recommend Joyfor!

I was enjoyed my stay. Thanks to Jeremiah and the woman staff, they are so kind and helpful. They provided more than 1 kind of bread with the various jam. They not only let me left the baggage too till the midnight after my check-out, but give it a sign. It make me free save to leave it to them. If I visit Singapore someday, Joyfor will be my choice again. See ya....

It's a very happy experience to live in Jofor Hostel. With passionate and enthusiastic staff, I felt warm and friendly just like at home. Also, the hostel is very close to Kallang MRT station. The location is so convenient that I saved my time finding and walking with heavy luggage. Generally speaking, it's a best choice for those travelling alone because you never feel lonely and bored in that wonderful space!

Feel at HOME! ”
My stay in Singapore would've never been great if I booked at another hotel. Sean and Dan were the best! They will take good care of you, from the room they provide, to the food you can eat, to the places you can go. I just can't have enough words to express how much I enjoyed my stay in Singapore.
