The best shower we had during our month in India. Mr Shibo made excellent restaurant recommendations and booked massages for us. Room was spacious and comfortable with sublime views out over the game reserve. We were walking distance to everything we needed. Be careful of the monkeys. One walked into our room. Definitely don’t feed them. This was a great place to unwind. The rooms are at the back of the building and very quiet, but the front entrance is on the main street so not remote at all. Ask for Room 5. On 2nd floor with a corner balcony. You will be very happy here.

Nice place to stay.. unfortunately the rooms were blocked for next few days by other travellers and could not extend the stay.. Sheebu, the owner is simply awesome.. Have guided to roam around, based on our needs and expectation.. Near by small eateries available..

Apart from momentary dismay on arrival, as the view you get of the building is not the most flattering, I had a very happy stay. Excellent restaurant directly across the road, excellent massage place almost directly across the road, good taxi service arranged through the owners who are really lovely people. Oh, but watch out for that monkey who stole my lunch off the balcony...

Location is just next to periyar... We watched bison, deers, wild pigs, birds... From our balcony... Every spot... Boating, bamboo rafting, kathakali dance center is within the radius of 1 km... Owner is very friendly.

One of the Best homestays I ever been to ....”
Excellent property along the fringes of the reserve with a nice view of the forest. The host Mr Shibu is a gem of a person. He was very supportive and attends to his clients sincerely. The rooms and toilets were all spacious and clean. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend this for families.
