La Flora, Madikeri - a great place to relax”
The resort is located about 8 Kms from Madikeri and autorikshaws from madikeri bus station take you to the resort in Rs 200. The resort is picturesque and you can be welcomed by the loud chirping of cicadas in the daytime. Thick vegetation surrounds the villas - something which many hotels and homestays in the town cannot provide. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable, the bathroom clean with running hot and cold water. The restaurant has a lodge type decor with wooden tables and benches. There is a small dip pool and steps lead to a burbling brook that runs alongside the property. The menu is limited but the dishes listed are tastefully prepared fresh. The housekeeping is excellent, and Ajay, a member of the service staff with an outstanding desire to be of assistance to the guests represents the friendly attitude of the staff. Whilst BSNL, Jio are available, there is no Vodafone/Idea connectivity. A lovely place for a short break with family.

If you are looking forward to a laid back chilled out trip with an excellent hospitality, La Flora Prakruthi resort is the place to be. The food was really good and we spoke to the chef as well. Super friendly staff, always smiling and at your service. Tino has provided an excellent service during the entire stay marking sure we were cozy and comfortable in our stay. Amazing service, incredible staff and beautiful resort. This was a total value for money trip. I would give it 5 stars.

let me list down some pros and cons Pros: 1. Very nice location 2. Friendly staff, especially two guys (sorry i forgot their name)were running for everything to provide good service. 3. Rooms were good and the food was also decent. Cons: 1. No TV at room 2. They told wifi in all rooms initially, later on they told only in common area but at the end they told no wifi. Wifi/TV is must in those kind of location where mobile network coverage is very less and we can't rely on our mobile network. One friendly advice to the management , kindly tell your staff to speak in local language, i know they are from TN but no harm in learning local language. Overall stay was good and we enjoyed it. if we are planning to coorg again we will definitely go to the same resort(iff those two cons are solved).

Good Location, Good Manager, Good Staff, BUT...”
Pros 1. The staff is excellent, kind and polite. 2. Nice location to relax and take photos 3. You feel good being in that location. 4. The staff and manager treat you with kindness and try to keep you comfortable. 5. The cook made nice dal, sambar and rasam. Also the maid was quick to serve water and take care. Cons 1. Looks like the owner of resort is not interested in offering good service. You pay money and go on a holiday to stay there and enjoy. But, morning there is no hot water on time to take bath and leave for the site seeing. 2. Complementary breakfast was not good. Why offer complementary, in that case, charge for it and give good food, right? With so much people visiting the resort looking at the photographs, exited and hoping for a nice experience, they should not be deceived by such basic facilities being not available. Fix that and its a really nice place!

Location is good. Staff are really friendly, courteous and responsive. The room we stayed badly needed painting. The door had mould patches, walls were dirty. Brighter lights would have made the room more lively. TV didn't work. No mobile signal anywhere in the report. Wish they had a POS device for credit/debit cards. Unfortunaltely they didn't accept cards. Airtel/Vodafone and Jio signal was really bad only 1 bar when I was outside in the resort. Swimming pool was really dirty, brown water with floating leaves. Wish they improve the facilities and make it better

Due to no resort welcome board, bit difficult for new visiters, the path inside to resort is not smooth. Cleanliness up-to-date is missing, beds stinking with fungal smell, however the staff took care and replaced new one on request, I can give good rating for the staff who took care immediately on request, especially tino who responded immediately for anything we ask. With staff I would say our stay was pleasent one. Pool has no water and many things like play area are accessible but not maintained.

Good part: room is big. Bad: really unmanaged I kept on asking to change blanket and pillow cover but they never did. Food quality is really bad. Options are limited Tea quality is so poor. after paying also you won't be getting good tea. Spoiled new year Eve. Not able to arrange a good sound system. People used there Bluetooth speakers instead. Swimming pool was dirty no cleaning or water change done.

Good place for family to spend some valuabe tike with famiky. Bit food quality to be improvised. Special thanks to Mr.Tino as he is very responsive and quick for the customer concerns. Good job Tino!

Very friendly management team and it was a wonderful stay. House keeping service by Tino was really appreciable. Very patient, calm and friendly behaviour. Hats off team.

Beautiful location but disappointing staff”
While this place is remote and beautiful, the staff was all kids (18ish) who seemed to have never been in the service industry before. The food orders were consistently wrong, repeated requests for hot water were ignored and they seemed more interested in playing Caram than attending to the guests. They tried hard and were polite but even simple things like getting silverware with dinner required repeated requests. A rowdy group of guests disrupted the peaceful area the first night (30 young men BLASTING music), as did the staff's constant yelling to each other from across the grounds. Sheets had stains, place was a bit dusty and toilet seat was broken. Still have not received my bill or been charged. Would not recommend.

Location was decent but there was very bad network coverage. Moreover they did not have Wi-Fi connection but in the website it was mentioned Wi-Fi is available. No intercom system and due to which had to go personally to the reception since phone network was bad and they could not hear what we said over the phone. Service was overall bad

Pros Good location. Friendly staff Cons Hygiene needs to be increased. Bed sheets were not clean. There were stains and cigretee burns . We asked the staff to change but New sheets also had the same stains. Less food options.

Avoid this place for below reasons. Stayed 2 nights with family in Dlx room. 1 Service - Extremely poor No phones in room to call room service. Walk to the reception area every time you need something. They dont make the room. If you are planning to stay more than one night, be prepared for the room to be not cleaned, beds not made etc. on the second day. 2 Facilities - Extremely poor No tea/coffee facility in room They provided one towel for our room and on asking for more they sent 2 wet bath towels - no hand towels, mats etc. were given Hot water on a schedule - you get it only from 7:30 to 9 AM. They literally heat the water over fire in a big drum and supply to the rooms Requested extra bed and all they provided was a mattress and a bed sheet. One of us had to sleep on the floor without any blankets. Food Drinks - Extremely poor Comp. bfast limited to bread with butter/jam, poori aloo and idli with sambhar/chutney. There is no advantage of location.

This is not a resort , its like a free stay . They told us if you book a deluxe room you will get this . The bedsheets was old , bathroom wet , the entrance toward the room was broken . I have never had such bad experience in my life on online booking .

Good Staff but Poor Facilities”
I have booked by keeping mind about location, it's fair enough but other facilities are nothing, even the entry road is terrible. Only one good thing is Staffing, I was attended by a staff name called TINO, he done wonderful job within his best. He manage to provide the best he can offer.
