Location is good but the food is worse than street side food, service is horribly slow, took 2 hours to deliver food. Food menu is very limited for this name. They Don’t provide buffet for dinner which is not expected at this price. Breakfast buffet has very limited choice.

Breathtaking picturesque property by the side of the backwaters .Lawn and pool were amazing with the touch of French in their architecture was amazing .Would be great if they improve the quality of complimentary breakfast and the access road to the property was bit unexpected .

The location is very nice. Looks like the backwaters! Architecture is french colonial. Rooms are large and comfortable. Don't book the deluxe room, no balcony and the view is ugly!!! but the pool view room is very beautiful. Negative: Game room is not good. Very limited and broken. The evening we stayed a birthday party was organized in the garden. Then rain started. People from the party moved to the restaurant, it was 8.00,pm and us were not allowed to have our dinner in the restaurant . we have to have our dinner in our room! We didn't appreciate .

mind blowing resort”
great place - we get to enjoy both the sea and the lagoon at the same time. sea is just half kms away. but the ambiance near the lagoon is superb. staff is amazing too buffet is not large - but adequate. pool is amazing too! overall had a great experience.. would visit lagood sarovar when we will be in pondi next time.

1.the staff are courteous. 2.the ambience is good. 3.housekeeping not up to the mark. there were loose electrical fittings. 4.the spread in the breakfast is not commensurate with a 5-star hotel. very limited items exhibited. we had dinner also in this resort. the quality of the food is also not up to the mark. i will give only 2-star status to this resort with reference to the food is concerned. 5.though i have booked for a deluxe room, when i had arrived the receptionist informed me that no deluxe room is available and i have to opt for an upgrade at an extra cost. when i demanded, having booked the room, it is the duty of the resort to provide me the accommodation without any additional cost, the receptionist frowned and forced me to pay the additional cost. this is not only atrocious but also, unethical. even a 2-star hotel will not treat their customer like this. as the management is unreliable, i seldom recommend this property to anybody.

Best weekend at lagoon the only drawbacks are the food, the breakfast buffet was not that great for a five star resort. And the wife was not at all working. Overall a pleasant stay if you r looking forward to spend a weekend with your family. Great facilities & amazing staff along with an beautiful view

Food - really bad, if you are vegetarian then hell no, everything is frued or cooked in fish fried oil Staff - some people are nice, some have this attitude that you have got money so you can flush it and they will act casually for everything The only pro is that it's near backwater and close to le pondy, otherwise I would say it's just overpriced

The resort is situated at backwaters and gives a unique feel. It makes you feel more like you are in Kerala than Pondicherry. There are water sports happening just outside the resort. Overall the property is good but the rooms are very basic and not luxurious at all. The prices are on a very higher side for the kind of property, else the resort is nice.
