It was an awesome weekend, a great Spa, nice and friendly staff in an awesome djungel atmosphere :) i loved it. All was very clean the rooms are amazing, I had a superior room with terracce, very comfortable. Only for Wifi you need to go to a special area but considering the hilly area it might be difficult to get WiFi in each room and also it's an area to relax and leave the digital world behind :). That is what Club Mahindra in Madikeri promises and that is what we got.

Pros - - The location of resort is too good, you can enjoy the sunset from a cliff in resort itself - The staff is very courteous - The food is just awesome and that too at very reasonable price - Breakfast is complimentary - Location is near from Raja's seat, Omkareshwar Temple and Madikeri fort Cons - - If booking online, do not confuse between type of rooms. 'Superior Room' is not actually superior and it is not what you see in photos, go for a 'Villa'. - Swimming pool is not too good, not too bad; and anyways most of the people won't use it - They do not provide liquid handwash, just bring your own Overall - It was an excellent experience being here

My wife and I visited with our two kids and my in laws and had a wonderful time. They've streamlined their staff's requirement by keeping all meals and snacks at the common dining area which enjoys a beautiful view and has a small but very usable infinity pool. The food though ample was unfortunately not great. They offered a decent selection and tried to offer variety in cuisines but it was "mid budget wedding buffet" meal quality at best. If you like being close to nature and don't mind walking for a few minutes to get your meals, this place is wonderful indeed.

The resort is located about 8 Kms from Madikeri and autorikshaws from madikeri bus station take you to the resort in Rs 200. The resort is picturesque and you can be welcomed by the loud chirping of cicadas in the daytime. Thick vegetation surrounds the villas - something which many hotels and homestays in the town cannot provide. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable, the bathroom clean with running hot and cold water. The restaurant has a lodge type decor with wooden tables and benches. There is a small dip pool and steps lead to a burbling brook that runs alongside the property. The menu is limited but the dishes listed are tastefully prepared fresh. The housekeeping is excellent, and Ajay, a member of the service staff with an outstanding desire to be of assistance to the guests represents the friendly attitude of the staff. Whilst BSNL, Jio are available, there is no Vodafone/Idea connectivity. A lovely place for a short break with family.

The Deluxe AC room I booked was big and spacious with a small balcony open to greenery. Room has large king size bed, sofa set (one 3 seaters and 1 single seater) with a table. There few more furnitures, almirah, electric, kettle, TV, etc. Overall the facilities was very good and its clean. The room was prompt, we never had to wait much for anything we ordered in the room, room service was really good. Their restaurant serve good, tasty food and the complimentary breakfast was good too. We felt the À la carte menu which is being served in the room are expensive. Their Bar has good collection of liquor, wine and cocktails. Mocktails are okay. It is located in a nice, quite place with greenery all around. Also, its close (between 2 to 8 kms) to some of the famous tourists places in Madikeri (Mercara). Overall, we had good time in Hotel Coorg International-Mercara.

Nice and cozy homestay. Booked for this new year's stay. Owners are very accommodating, and any local tips are always available. Breakfast was sumptuous and filling. Thelma personally made coffee for us. Place is nice, clean and with most amenities you can expect at this pricepoint. The Bonus was a parking spot, a quite balcony with a swing, and a very quite neighbourhood. The owner is responsive on all platforms she has listed this place on, typically reply within hours. I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a place for familystay in Madikeri.

Homely atmosphere...very good feeling...nice coffee, However, Bathroom - Jet pipe not comfirtable, only 1 mtrs. Its not reaching to the pot comfirtably..(It should be 1.5 mtrs). No shelfs / racks to keep clothes. No soap stand. Washbasin - very small, washing for only 1 hand (not comfirtable for both hands)....No mirror on the top...Mirror is near the entry door...so while shaving we need to run between mirror and washbasin Room - No cupboard/platform for keeping our bags/clothes General - when we asked then only we got soap, towel (initially only 1 soap & towel was given for 2 persons but after requesting then we got 2 each) For all 3 days we got only 1 and same towel...No change... For room cleaning/bedding we need to tell everyday

We had a fantastic stay at Old Ken Estates! It's a lovely resort with 8 cottages. Each cottage is quite large with really nice bathrooms. The food was excellent. We particularly loved the south indian food and the Sunday night dinner and the bon fire following! The place is hidden away (a bit hard to find, but worth it!) in a beautiful forest/estate setting. Great place for a relaxing get away where you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy a good book. The lodge is great and has a pool table and a movie room- but we just enjoyed sitting on the terrace with our books and seeing the beautiful garden! We would recommend this hotel to anyone going to coorg!

The hotel room was good and had basic amenities which was good and had running hot water throughout the day. The hotel staff was not very courteous and have no idea about how to treat their customers, they are not rude but very lethargic. Rooms are not cleaned and beds are not made everyday. No intercom facility and room service just ignored any request and failed to deliver any requests. The staff need to be trained about how to interact with customers and improve themselves and the hotel should take care of their house keeping and intercom facility.

I booked the homestay for my family (wife and 2 kids), there were 2 spacious bedrooms, the homestay looks exactly like in the pictures from the outside, but the walls inside were damp with fungus on walls and the smell was awful in both the bedrooms. Bed sheets and pillow covers were clean but were smelly, we were disappointed with the visit to start with. Complained to the manager, had asked the caretaker to change the sheets, which he did, however it only improved the situation a bit better. I pulled out a comforter that I found in the wardrobe which was a tad bit better. TV and covered parking is available. There is not much the facility has to offer, except that you can spend overnight for sleeping. Food was not in the package, however the place is in the heart of the town and there are plenty of restaurants close by. Bathrooms were nice and clean, but no shampoo, when asked for it, the caretaker said shops are closed as it was a holiday (which was a fact), however I didn't like the attitude. Not a place I would recommend for any family, I guess both the rooms are offered to one family/booking (don't expect any company hence).

We checked in Late evening, to realise that there is not food service in the hotel other than breakfast. Luckily this service apartment is the main town and there are enough eateries in the vicinity. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable, TV was too small like a 17 inch computer monitor. Power failure was frequent, however the back up would start but after a short 15-20 min delay. No Air conditioning. Overall, it is worth INR 1500-2000/night.

the location is inside a very cramped shopping complex adjascent to the town bus station in Madikeri. The roads leading to the hotel are narrow and parking space is cramed- but the security will take care of troubles there. free wifi is available only in the lobby. breakfast served is very tasty. the room which i booked had no a/c, please confirm the choice before booking. room is moderately spacious, bit claustrophobic since the windows open into the next building! tv, hot water, lift is there. checkout time was 12Noon. the staff is very friendly and helpful. many spots like Raja s seat and madikeri fort, mokareswar temple are walkable and there are lots of spice shops around to shop. there is a nice hotel- hotel Choice close by. didnt try the hotels own restaurant. overall, a decent budget hotel for night's stay.

When we entered our room it smelt so bad the staff had to spray a deodorizer around which helped for 2 minutes. Their was no hot water the first night and the basin dripped water all over the unventilated bathroom floor. The bed blanket was so old and frayed we couldn't use it. I don't know what the other rooms were like but we couldn't wait to leave.Certainly not worth what we paid for at all.

the location is great if u have a car as you will be in close proximity to the city and Abbi falls. the room was clean and tidy. not to many options for breakfast which I felt was good as there wasn't too much of a confusion on what to eat. honestly was a value for money deal. Dinner will have to be ordered early ( by around 7:00pm) and not available on weekends as this is outsourced by the hotel . The staff will keep you informed about this though so not too much to be worry about.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time enjoying the serene beauty of this place. The resort is clean, well-maintained, and peaceful but the approaching road is bumpy and bad. The foremost thing that needs to be immensely improved is the quality of FOOD. Drinks at the bar are good but they don’t have any snacks or refreshments to go with it. On the first night, we were told dinner would be served at 8 but it was finally served 45 minutes late. Paapad came very late when we were almost done with dinner. On the second night, food was even more bad and served late, as the previous night. Overall breakfast and dinner were just ordinary. Another major concern is that people use pool or bathe in waterfalls and enter the restaurant barefoot and wet which was quite icky. Wonderful stay but not satisfied with any aspect of food.
