Front staffs can only speak mediocre English but every staff including hotel housekeeper and doorman was kind and considerable. They accepted exactly what guest wants and made the best result. Hotel was clean and well preserved generally. Most of all, the location which is adjacent to the people's square station takes the biggest part of my satisfaction of this hotel. Although it was so much cold at night that I couldn't bear without turning on the heater all night long which made my skin extremly dry, the image I got toward Majesty Plaza Shanghai was pretty good.

A convenient located, cosy, and comfortable hotel”
Majesty Plaza Shanghai Hotel is located near one of the tourist areas in Shanghai,the Nanjing Rd pedestrian street full of shops and a short distance walk to the Bund. It is very close to the subway stations which can access to nearly all major attractions and both airports. The room is cozy, comfortable and clean. Front desk staff are helpful. The only thing can be improved is to provide adequate towels and washroom supplies according to the number of people occupied the room.

What I like about this hotel is it's near the subway and a lot of stores, malls and restaurants nearby. However, during winter they only have heater and it tends to be very hot inside the room so we just turned off the heater.

First time I stay here. Room is big , clean and comfortable but Air conditioner is not too good, sometime hot, sometime cold. Breakfast is good. Value for money and it is located in a strategic place, within walking distance to the Bund and Metro station. Also within the vicinity of the famous Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street

I stayed here in February 2019. The only con was the heating system. You cannot turn the thermostat low while feeling hot inside the room.

I had a late check in there were two large groups ahead of me there was four staff members around doing various tasks only two were attending to the check-ins I thought under the circumstances all the efforts could have been made to process the customers quicker so I wasn't waiting 20 minutes to check in apart from that the place is very good that's the only negative experience I have had thank you

Magnificent location”
Perfect location at Nanjing Pedestrian Street and close to the People's Square metro station. The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was very friendly, but the front desk were not so much. They also wanted a large deposit for the room (although I already paid in full), but they brought it down to a slightly more reasonable amount after some "negotiation". Still highly recommended.

The hotel is great especially the LOCATION! Just used the hotel back exit and there's a lot of shopping mall and HALAL restaurant nearby. Definitely gonna stay here again for our next visit!
