Where to stay in Malaga City Center
Malaga City Center hotels & accommodations

Our short break from the wind and rain of north east England was a great success. The Silken was a lovely hotel two steps from the station and therefore easy from the direct Newcastle flight to Malaga. Hotel room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfasts which were complimentary were excellent. Malaga is a stunning city and as an extra bonus we saw the lighting ceremo...

This hotel exceeded my expectations during our recent family vacation - two families traveling with children. The hotel is within walking distance to Train, Old Town and beach. The facilities are great for young and old - the pool is delightful, the spa area is a bonus. The rooms are wonderfully spacious, quiet and exceptionally clean. The location was close enough...

Looking for a quality short stay in Malaga then this hotel should be on your short list. In the centre of the "old town" it is walking distance from just about everywhere. A bit like the tardis from a small entrance it opens up to be a beautiful building. Lovingly renovated we were told it was in time a former palace and the exposed brick wall was part of the structur...

I want to thank all the staff for the high quality of service and all the smiles donated. The hotel is located as convenient as possible. Nearby you will find many restaurants, and on weekends you will be surprised by the rich nightlife of Malaga. Despite the fact that all the sights are nearby, it was important for me to have parking for guests. I always rent a car t...

A fantastic hotel made for a wonderful weekend. The staff were fantastic, when we had a small issue with our booking, they turned it into their problem not ours, and resolved it immediately with no fuss. the facilities, pool, bars, restaurant are great. the location is great, just in the right area of the city, overlooking the harbour. Breakfast was really good, with a...

This small boutique hotel was perfect for our short stay in Malaga (which we loved). Simple, modern facilities in a lovely traditional building. Very accessible to visit the central sights just 10-15mins away on foot and similarly close to the beach and seafront walk to watch sunrise with only the men fishing as company. The hotel is close to the bus route from the air...

We arrived in Malaga for a wedding and we were pleasantly surprised how enjoyable the facilities were as well as how helpful the staff was with organizing our taxis and other services we needed from the hotel. The Buffett breakfast was also delicious. Definitely recommend the NH Hotel

We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Barceló Malaga. We only stayed one night before heading home to Sweden. We wanted to be fairly close to the airport and it only took about 10mins by car to reach the airport by car. The hotel has a modern and fun interior, the staff is professional and friendly, the breakfast buffet was fantastic and the hotel is located about a15-20 ...

The location makes this bijou apartment suite a must. In the city centre off Calle Nueva ,near the Market and only 10 mins from the beach and Marina, the Apartementos are an oasis from the throbbing life of Malaga in August. I loved my stay here and will definitely be back. Antonio at Reception was welcoming, informative and always helpful. Also this is a perfect place...

Booked last minute and delighted. Fantastic central location in quirky back street. Spacious room. Clean and bright. Kitchen facility perfect. No outside space might be a downside in summer. Would have appreciated clean towels after a couple of days. Absolutely loved Malaga. Was a revelation. Beautiful clean city. Very Spanish, great restaurant s and bars and very ...

We loved our stay at La Siesta Malaga Guesthouse. The location was great - close enough to walk to everything but still set back enough to be really quiet. The room was beautifully done and was immaculately clean, a real haven to come back to at the end of a busy day. We also loved the small touches at La siesta. There is a blackboard with daily recommendations e.g.. b...

Second time we stayed here, handily positioned between metro/train station and shops in centre of town. We opted to pay for an upgrade of 8 Euro per night, so we could have a room (203), at the front of the hotel, with a balcony. Well worth it. Room had kettle and coffee/tea facilities, enough power plugs, little fridge, good wardrobe space and dressing table, flat scr...

We had a pleasant stay at this small boutique hotel which is tucked in a quiet alley just off the main square Plaza de la Merced of Malaga. The rooms are individually decorated with Moroccan theme, and staff/ owner were very helpful and friendly. The only problem is that some water features in the bathroom (sink and shower) don't work probably so sometimes the water go...

Staff were very friendly, neighbourhood had a laid back vibe unlike the stressed commercialism of those hotels downtown. Still, the neighbourhood has lots of food places and even shopping (at Malaga Train Station). Room was well sized and very clean, bed very comfortable, WiFi strong, TV had channel with English news and good showers. Definitely recommended.

Had a pleasant stay at the Zenit. The hotel is away from the city centre and located on a small side street close to the other buildings so much so that the rooms are almost looking into the apartments across the road. Rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were helpful and allowed us parking on the street in the bay infront of the hotel - which was...

We visited Malaga and stayed overnight before catching our plane in the morning. Astoria is well located close to the train station and near the pier. The room was clean and the price really good. They have two types of rooms, studio and normal room, so if you are sick and tired of the food of the restaurant, I would recommend the studio. We stayed in Malaga longer than we expected, because the weather is fantastic and the hotel is comfortable. Very good place to visit in winter time.
Cheap places to stay in Malaga City Center

hostel is located in city center, too close roman theatre, gibralfaro, alcazaba and cathedral. domitory has a creative personal locker. but kitchen is isolated a little. there is no wash basin in room.It is uncomfortable, but public shower and toilet is useful and clean. hostel uesd alley like a bar. so many people sit there and talk at late night. It's very noisy, e...

the hostel is close to the main shopping street. the hostel is on the fourth floor, but I would say it is more an apartment than a hostel. thee is no kitchen, bathrooms were not clean. it ist very, very loud so if you want to sleep go better somewhere else. no air condition and the beds are not so stable. staff was nice.

The hotel is located near to the historic Atarazanas market, within walking distance of all major attractions in the city center. It's also close to the bus line that runs to/from the airport and bus and train stations, so it's very easy to get around. Recommend.

Nice apartment with balcony as shown in photos Reception---Had to walk 300metres away to check-in / check- out. (They did not provide any information or any direction details- they did not state this in email nor did they reply my inquiries ---asking for telephone number after I booked the room ) There was a tiny map / phone number located at the side of the door. The hotel is located on a side street and parking around the hotel is limited. Thankfully the hotel staff allowed us to park in the bay in front of the hotel. The rooms were good and clean. Location and staffs were amazing. facility was great. we stayed on 4 th floor and there was terrace and little space to relax next to door. staff's recommendation for food and shop were so perfect. Everything was great. I have been to Malaga twice. and this accommodation was greater than the other one. I will use this again if I go to Malaga again! Thank you.

Lovely modern hotel very close to the historic centre of Malaga. We had a room on floor 5 with good views of the city. The room was clean and comfortable with a good sized bathroom and aircon, essential as the temperature was 38 degrees! The best part of the hotel was the roofterrace and pool with fantastic views. A great place to chillout with a beer or a cocktail. Li...

The appartment is situated on a perfect location with a very nice view over the port and within walking distance from the historic city center. There is no reception: an agency staff member met us at arrival and did (in perfect English) a great job, arranging parking (to be payed separately)and giving us very useful hints. The place is neat but you can hardly call it a...

The apartment is cute and clean. It is about a 5min walk to the train station and small mall, but about a 30min walk (1.5km) to ths city centre area. My only 2 complaints are: it can be noisy at night, but my biggest complaint is the shower... the water tank is itty bitty small. You can only have less than a 5min shower before the hot water runs out.. and for a wome...

Thanks to the great service from the guy in the front desk, we were bumped up to a higher floor and a better room because of being on our honeymoon. Fantastic service and we had a great stay in the centre of Malaga and for a good price. Would totally recommend this place which is perfectly located, clean, and with a High service level.

This is the worst place we have ever seen, we left the room after only 5 minutes to find a suitable place for my wife and me. • In Agoda: Apartment in Malaga City Center of 140 sqm, with 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and marked with 5 stars and promised the Entire apartment! All a lie! • When we came to the apartment, we get shocked, there are several people in the same apa...
