We chose to stay at the Meininger Hotel Berlin Mitte due to the great value, the easy of having a family of 4 in one room (the kids loved the bunk beds) and the great location. It made seeing Berlin very easy. The rooms are very clean and tidy.

3 wonderful days”
We were 3 girls who stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Location: Getting off the train at Orangenburger Station, the first thing we saw was the hotel. Staff: The staff was very friendly, and very helpful when we asked for directions or places to eat. The room: We got a room for 3, with a double bed and a single sofabed. Everything in the room, inclusive the bathroom, was new and clean. We traveled in january, so the room was cold when we got there. But some time after turning on the heat, the room temperature became perfect. Breakfast: we had our first breakfast at the hotel, which was a bit disappointing. It was a boring breakfast, and was too expensive compared to the content. But we found a cafe across the street (Oranium I believe it was called) where we got much better breakfast for the same price. All together, I loved the hotel and would stay here again if I decided to visit Berlin once again.

Perfect location and perfect for a short stay.”
Really great location and near all the venues for my business trip. Staff were very friendly and had the vibe of a designer hostel/ hotel, would happily stay again and will. For me I needed a quiet room at the rear and was exctly that, some large groups of children staying but all was generally quiet. Breakfast buffet for €5 was a steal, why pay 20 at a chain. Loved my stay and will use again without doubt.

Extremely Helpful Staff, Great Location”
The hotel is in a great location just next to a S-bahn and within walking distance to a lot of the attractions. We stayed in this hotel in early September and came back again after 2 weeks away in Nordic countries. When I had difficulties operating the microwave oven, staff came in the guest kitchen to show me how to use it. The guest kitchen is the best one we had seen in our 3 weeks in Europe. We would love to stay for a few more days but price shot up in double and even triple as this hotel is also popular for business travelers.

Upscale, artsy hotel - caters to all budget!”
It was a very comfortable one, we got a large and comfy room, high ceilings and abig bath. Rooms are very neat and clean. Hotel is cheerful and the staff are welcoming! The staff speak superb English and highly resourceful - showed where are the nearest spots to visit, map given, even found out for us the best way to get to Tegel Airport by public. Since it caters to both hotel and hostel like travellers, they have a mini guest kitchen where you can store food and cook and also use of washing machine and dryers at a nominal fee. Breakfast was plain and simple of croissants and varieties of bread, ham, cheese and cereal. Overall, we loved it!

Very nice hotel with tram, S Bahn & U Bahn all just outside the hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff too. Pls note AGODA - you need to update your info on this hotel as they don't have laundry facilities anymore and your contact for them might be wrong - I tried to email them a couple of times about our reservation and they never got my communication.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. On arrival they gave us a map and helped us with the tram timetable. The street that the hotel was on had a range of well priced resterants and shops. I would definatly recommend staying in this hotel.

Loved our stay here! Very modern, clean hotel in a fantastic location - S Bahn, U Bahn and tram JUST outside door!! Comfy beds, warm, nice new bathrooms, great shower, lifts, very good breakfast, and staff were very friendly and helpful & spoke good English! Great value for money. Some great restaurants within walking distance too.

As a group of friends, we enjoyed the hotel very much. Staff were very helpful and had a good spirit in service. Rooms were pretty much what we expected them to be and the location was really good. Walking distance to various sightseeing places, restaurants etc.

Decent Stay”
We booked into this hotel due to price and location. The hotel is situated on the East side on a very busy road. If you don't mind late night bars and a hotel that is decent value then this place is ideal. The staff are also very good here and attended with all our drunken!! needs very good, they are a credit to the hotel

Clean, Friendly Hotel centrally located”
Had a fabulous experience. Great location. Walkable to Museum Island. Right in front of a metro stop and trolley stop. Great pub next door, and many great restaurants just down the street and around the corners. Friendly staff. Called a taxi for us to go to the train station. Good breakfast buffet for only 6Euro. Would stay there again!

For a budget hotel I wondered if it might be noisy at night and very basic but it had a good. range of facilities with nice places to eat nearby and easy access to main sites. Staff were very helpful with daily arrangements.

Great Location, Friendly Staff”
Great location, next to a S-bahn and close to local attractions. The first night we stayed is a Saturday and the temperature is in the high 20s. We opened the window to cool the room. Since the room is facing the street, the noise from the party people on the street and traffic kept me awake all night. I complaint it to the staff the next morning as I requested a quiet room in my booking. Luckily, the temperature of the next day lowered to low 20s and we could close the window.

Good location right at the door step of station”
Not too bad. Right at the door steps of Oranienburger Station. Service was ok but not impressive. There is this excellent thai - Asian restaurant right by the side called Kamala. Price was pretty reasonable with the food quite very nice. Recommend for asian travellers who are weary of bread and buns and cold cuts.

Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again. Everything was clean, nice deco. The staff was very friendly and smiley, and they sell really good muffins at the reception!
