Pleasant, relaxing stay in lovely surroundings”
We enjoyed a quiet weekend stay - we relaxed in the pool, had a quiet read in a garden pagoda and really enjoyed the tranquil setting and lovely garden outlook of this friendly eco-resort. We will definitely be back and will happily recommend Memoria Palace resort to our friends.

Missed Some Amenities”
Memoria is probably the best accommodation in Pailin and it is in a quiet location outside of town which was nice. We arrived using our own motos and for some reason we had a devil of a time finding the hotel......even Google Maps got it wrong. Our room was a deluxe model with two double beds. The bathroom was large and the shower was wonderful! There wasn't any "room noise" from our neighbors or traffic noise of any kind. The hotel is laid out on paths with occasional small sitting areas so if you want to sit by the lake or off the pool area there are opportunities to do that. The pool was sparkling clean, quite large and refreshing with thatched canopies to escape the sun if one wished too. We ate at the hotel restaurant for two breakfasts and two dinners. Breakfasts were off a limited menu, which I prefer (I'm a retired chef and don't much care for buffets). We ate Asian items both days. They were well prepared though on the small side. The coffee was brewed and strong. The dinner menu was fairly extensive and both meals I had were excellent. I highly recommend the River Fish w/ 3 Flavors which was perfectly cooked. The next night I had Chicken Stir-fried with Galangal, Lemongrass and Garlic. It was very flavorful, but it had way too much Lemongrass for my tastes........my partner, who is Khmer, said the dish was "just the way it should be." I should mention that the first night my partner had the Khmer Beef Salad which he said was delicious and the second night he ordered the Stir-fried Noodle with Beef which he said was,"O.K." My only complaint about the Memoria Palace happened to be about the restaurant. For each meal we had, the kitchen took WAY too long to prepare our dishes. I wouldn't complain if they had been super busy but for three of the four meals they were either cooking just for us or 1 other table and for the 4th meal they were only dealing with 3 tables! I'm sorry, but 40 minutes+ to serve a couple of stir-fries is not cool! I only w

Beautiful ”
This was a “splurge” as I am traveling for a little over a month in Cambodia. I wish I could have stayed longer and done an overnight in the jungle. Pailin is a lovely provincial town surrounded by farms and jungle. Memoria has been my favorite stay of my whole trip.

Perfect stay in the countryside.”
Artivef at Memoria after along and hot cyclingtrip from Battambang. Welcomed with a cool drink. Clean and spacious room. Helpfull staff, good restaurant. Nothing to complsin about, have to go back, teo nights is not enough to see everything around Memoria.

paradise in the middle of nowhere”
We had a really good stay at memoria palace. It's very relaxed there. The mountains are stunning and well worth the travel to get there. We did a day tour to see the waterfall and do some gemstone mining. Great day out on the tuk tuk. We stayed in the eco lodge. It's rustic but great fun. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location, very clean resort, ok service”
A lot of care has gone into creating the resort in beautiful Pailin. Ponds and trees are across the resort to give a lovely natural feel. However, one night we stayed staff were having a party and karaoke boomed across the resort until late. The restaurant party continued next morning at breakfast as people drank beer and played music in the restaurant. Not what you want/expect from a peaceful get-away. Would still recommend, but bring ear plugs or be ready to ask to have the music turned down.

Quiet”
We just wanted to have a break of the city and the noise. It was exactly that. The room was confortable. It had no Internet but we could connect at the pool or reception. We accidently came across a beautiful field of sunflowers on the propriety. There was a TV and a fridge in our room, which was nice.

Nice Location Big Rooms”
Stayed a few nights on business and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but they still manage to provide decent clean rooms, wifi and OK food. The resort grounds are lovely and the place seems to attract nature lover type vacationers due to its proximity to the Cardamom Mountains.

"Do not have" was the response to everything!”
The room was nice. Clean and spacious. Lunch, dinner and breakfast were all disasters. The menu is extensive but the response was "do not have". No cocktails, no spirits, only beer. No fresh fruit juices, only pineapple available. Only coke and a couple of cans of Sprite. No cooked breakfast available - bacon, sausage etc. So disappointing for a "resort". Evening dinner took more than hour for the first of our food to start to arrive. We ordered at 6pm and did not finish until after 9 - disaster for little children.

Overall we enjoyed our short stay. The staff was welcoming and informative. The food was good though pricey. The room was clean, comfortable,and quiet. We do wish they would repair the bathroom window.

I liked the place in the Forest, but it was 5 kms from the center and each time we wanted to move, the hôtel was taking 5 dollars from us just for one way...i think it is not fair because it's expensive, we couldn't do annoter way and some hôtels do it freely..

J’ai été le seul client pendant tout ce week-end l’hôtel se prépare à une saison touristique d’après Covid si les chambres sont bien entretenues ce n’est pas le cas du parc qui fait l’objet actuellement de remise en état par un personnel multi-taches de l’accueil , au béton de l’accès à l’accueil…

Superbe accueil. La région est magnifique. La vue de la piscine aussi. Nous sommes en pleine nature donc il faut être prêt aux petites bêtes. Très bon restaurant. Nous avons eu une chambre ronde toute neuve et très design très soignée avec clim et TV et autant de DVD qu'on voulait. Il manque un peu de mobilier pour les vêtements quand même. Cela devrait s'améliorer rapidement. La clim n'est pas suffisante contre les moustiques. Demandez une moustiquaire.

Gut für Aufenthalt in Pailin”
Die Anlage ist ok, etwas außerhalb der Stadt. Dort gibt es aber eh nix interessantes abends, also kann man auch das Leben in der Anlage genießen. Da es sonst auch keine echten Hotel-Alternativen gibt, kann man das Memoria als einzig echtes Hotel in Pailin bezeichnen. Schön ist der Swimmingpool mitten in der Natur. Alles andere in der Umgebung ist gut mit Moto/ Tuk Tuk zu erreichen. - Gleich um die Ecke gibt es eine Obstfarm mit Rambutan, Longan,... die man frisch von den Bäumen kaufen kann.
