"Short walk to Gesundbrunnen station, with a large shopping centre attached to it. Such a great location!! For the room: We had to ask for a second bath towel as we only had 1. The blankets are 2 single blankets even though we had a large bed. There is a kitchen but not much/no cutlery (1 or 2 teaspoons). Do not let this deter you, im sure we could have been provided with some if asked but it didn’t bother us. Just giving a heads up for future guests. However please know we LOVED this hotel and we will be staying here if we return to Berlin in future, I’ll also be recommending it to friends and family. The staff were so great and the bar downstairs made me the best mojito of my life. Such incredible value for money for such a modern and clean hotel. Thanks for the hospitality! "

"I really enjoy staying with the Student Hotel Berlin. The interior deco is so lively. Room is spacious. And super clean. The staff, Amy, who checked in for us is super friendly. Hotel offered coin to get free welcome drink from the bar and free water in the paper box. Really love how they care about reducing plastic bottles. Walking to Alexanderplatz is about 10 mins. Bus stop is just right in front of the hotel. "

"I wouldn't say it's very cheap but then considering all other factors, the hotel is definitely a 5 stars for value for money. Location is very central, not sure about the subway connectivity because I didn't use any of it but it is in fact nested in a very nice diverse area of the Mitte region. Within walking distances to shopping areas, nice restaurants and of course, the museum island. Room very well designed and relatively big and I would say, the overall hotel is very good looking, very chic and more towards the boutique style rather than a normal boring hotel. Staff very polite, helpful and excellent. Will recommend for sure."

"Pleasant stay but on our last day, it was quite warm in the room. As most hotels only have cooling systems and is based on the outer temperature, our rooms stay warm. Hotel staff told us to open our windows and said they are no available rooms to change. Think it's best if hotels who rely on cooling systems develop a proper plan to manage such situations rather than letting their customers suffer."
