This motel lies on the motorway junction of the A3 and A7 motorways, in the Dettelbach / Mainfrankenpark motorway services, where you will also find 2 cinemas and a disco. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Motel Pelikan offers modern, practical rooms, ideal for a rest from the road. The Motel Pelikan isn’t only a place for passing through. From here, the city of Würzburg can be reached in only 16 minutes by car, not to mention many surrounding quaint villages. Only an 8-minute drive away is the pretty town of Dettelbach, with the lovely St. Augustinus church and the Franciscan monastery Kloster Dettelbach. Go for a walk along the Main river or cross the river and enjoy the nearby forest.

Worst hotel we’ve ever experienced ”
There was no one working there when we arrived at 7PM (even though the sign indicated that it was staffed from 0600-2200). We used an electronic kiosk to check in but it only gave us keys for one room (the reservation was for two rooms). No one at the hotel would answer the phone to assist us so we called Agoda and they couldn’t get ahold of the hotel either. Agoda tried to find us a different hotel but everything was booked nearby. Finally we decided to just get another room with the kiosk (which was double the price of our reservation with Agoda). The rooms themselves were absolutely terrible! The walls were plastic, the rooms were small, the bathrooms were dirty, the shower was flimsy, and the carpet was dirty. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the room never got warm. There was a huge semi- dried urine/mystery substance stain on the floor in the bathroom. I felt very uncomfortable here! Please avoid this place! It wasn’t even worth the low price on Agoda.

This hotel was actually better than we expected. It was clean, staff was as friendly as someone behind a glass wall can be. Breakfast was fantastic, glad we opted for it. While the area looked a little sketchy, there was a restaurant that wasn't scary near by and it was close to the highway. The wifi was adequate and the room was clean.

This is a basic hotel for people driving long distances and need to have a night between. Good located, was clean and it worked well. Breakfast was a suprise, very good value for money. The Staff I can not say anything about. In the night you check in with a automat. So I can not judge them..

Prima hotel voor doorreis”
Inchecken buiten is wel even puzzelen, maar uiteindelijk gelukt. Hotel is gunstig gelegen. Kamer was basic, maar voorzien van een tweepersoonsbed, bureau met stoel, kleine kledingkast, badkamer met douche, wastafel en toilet. Tevens een kleine tv en föhn op de kamer. Kamer is wel gehorig doordat de muren van systeemwanden zijn. Ook de vloer is volgens mij van hout. Kamer was schoon en opgeruimd. Al met al een prima hotel voor doorreis en prijs. Kan niets zeggen over het personeel, want heb pas laat ingecheckt.

Стандартный мотель. Завтраком не воспользовались: дороговато для того набора, который видели. Один раз пришлось напомнить персоналу, чтобы вынесли мусор. В основом - чисто, спокойно.
