FANTASTIC!!”
We loved our stay at the Peninsular Excelsior. We arrived early in the morning (8.00am)and were not supposed to go into our room until 2pm but they said our room was ready and they had upgraded us! Our room was on the 16th Floor and faced the harbour and what a magnificent view it was especially at night. The staff were so polite and friendly, our room was lovely and big and very clean. The two pools were fantastic and the bar on the 22nd floor was fabulous. The location for us was great. We walked to Clarke Quay, China Town, Raffles, Marina Bay Sands etc. Check in and check was seamless. Funan shopping centre is right next door and the Raffles shopping centre is about 3 minutes walk. There are plenty of taxis pulling into the hotel at all times of the day if you need to travel to any where in Singapore. Special thanks to Vivian and Jacy who spoiled me on the first night with complimentary drinks and a birthday cake at the bar for my 60th birthday!! We will be returning!!!

The staff here were amazing and friendly. The location is beyond perfect. Everything is walkable- takes less than 10 min to get to the Merlion/gluttons Bay area and about the same to get to Clarke’s Quays. There’s also loads of public transport instantly accessible. The hotel has 2 towers and 2 outdoor pools as well as a sauna, (they provide the towels for these facilities) The room was slightly dated with flaking paint BUT the overall value of the room was outstanding. I was given a complimentary upgrade and the view from my room was spectacular! The bed was comfortable and there were multiple pillow options. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the room was really well lit. They provided gown, slippers, toothbrush, sewing kit, comb, shampoo and soap. The skybar should not be missed. The view over the bay is beautiful, the cost for drinks is high but worth it and not as pricey as the other popular bars.

Exceptional”
Staff were great... Concierge provided free umbrellas when we went out (we had 3 straight days of rain), ordered us Grab Cabs, and watched our luggage after check out. All the sorts of things you would expect from a 4 or 5 Star Hotel. Hotel was exceptionally clean, housemaid supplied extra towels and bottled water almost immediately when requested. 22nd floor restaurant was a disappointment. We were late diners but at a highly regarded restaurant like this it shouldn’t matter. If the restaurant is still serving it should be of the same quality as those diners that dine earlier... this was the only thing I could fault during our three days. We will DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

Outstanding Club Room & Service”
Our 3 day stay in the Premier Club Room (Marina View) on Level 21 was outstanding. We were able to check in early as well as having a late check out. The views from our room and the Sky Lounge were stunning , a beautiful way to start and end your day. The Sky Lounge Team of Arianne, Ac, Belle, Sera, Yuna, Jacy, Li Ying and Vivian ensured that we had a fantastic stay. They always greeted you with a smile and would help you with any inquiries you had. The breakfast menu at the Sky Lounge catered to a wide variety of tastes and you were able to reserve a table location in advance if you desired. Coffee choices excellent. The Evening Cocktails from 18:00-20:00 had a different selection of canapés each night accompanying the beverages. We were 2 couples and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the SkyLounge Team.

We stayed twice within a few weeks, the first stay just being one night. We were very impressed with the staff at reception. We were invited to use the pool as we had arrived early and our room was not ready. The young lady at reception came to find us when our room was available. Our second stay, for 5 nights, was excellent. We were met at reception with a lovely smile and a “welcome back” greeting. We were fortunate to have a room with a fabulous view and given the location of the hotel it must be one of the best views in Singapore. Every member of staff we passed greeted us with a smile. We will definitely use this hotel again.

My wife and I were there for our honeymoon. Aside from the great view, the staff at Peninsula Excelsior are one of a kind. They will greet you with smiling faces and exceptional service. There's one staff in particular, Ariane Garcia, you should look for. She's a Guest relations manager and she's been there for 11 years. She completely knew what she was doing and she's really on top of her game. Everything turned out so nice for me and my wife. We will definitely go back here.

Clean and pleasant stay. Staff courteous and very approachable, answered all questions, housekeeping was exceptionally nice! Lovely pools. Scenic views from rooftop bar! Close to Raffles City mall and Clarke Quay nightlife. Great walkability to nearly everything! Will definitely go back! Ah yes, beds were comfy too!

Pretty decent hotel”
My partner and I stayed at peninsula excelsior hotel for 4 nights. It’s very close to MRT station, shops and walkable distance to china town, clarke quay and Merlion park which I LOVED about. Didn’t have enough time to go to pool but it looked great. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed was that I asked smoking available room so I was expecting that there was gonna be balcony but no balcony and my partner and I found an ashtray on the table in the room... apart from that, we had clean room every day and everything was great!

Wonderful experience”
Checking in started out to be disappointing initially as I booked for the premier club room thru Agoda but found out the room was not going to face the padang for NDP. Front office manager Jumie took over the checking in process and she went an extra mile to check for the availability of the room I wanted. Tho we had to make additional top up for the room, I was still very elated as my sole reason for choosing peninsula as it was close to the padang. And oh my the view was awesome and the experience was even better.. we felt we were part of the audience for the parade. About 2 hours after check in The front staff also came up to check on us if everything was ok and gifted us their delicious in house chocolates. Thank you so much Jumie for the wonderful gesture and going the extra mile just so tt my family and the children can enjoy the NDP.

Really good hotel. My son loved the pool and I like the gym equipments. It is near the MRT which was very convenient for exploring Singapore. Funan Mall is just around the corner which offers excellent food choices.

Good location, cosy room”
Firstly, do expect a little wait for checking in at counter and also for checking out service. The room is cosy for 2 person but of course the bathtub is quite small and little rundown. And I guess I’m given a connecting room, so kinda a bit insecure. Overall, it worth the 4-stars rated!
