Amazing Guest House in Tiruvanamli!”
This guest house has great energy! Its peaceful, clean and has everything you need! They provide simple things in the room that really make a difference for a longer stay. A kettle, bowl, plate and cutlery are available in the rooms and free water and a refridgerator are available just outside the rooms. Each floor has a nice sitting area to relax and you have a nice view of Arunachala! They offer many services such as money exchange, bikes and laundry. The location is also perfect, there are resturants and cafes nearby and you can walk to Ramana Ashram in 15 minutes. I feel like I am at home here! :)

Great for long stay, not good for a short one”
Not recommended for old people, looking for short stay. No food nearby(there is a small restaurant 200m/5minute walk away), getting there the road was bad, they mentioned it was due to the recent floods, they had 3 dogs at the entrance (roams in common area). Narrow road in front of place not shown in photos. Cars to be parked outside across road. Rooms were clean with utensils for basic cooking. Sheets and blankets available, toilets clean. Very helpful family lives there supporting all your needs. Good for foreigners, good view of lake and hill from open terrace (stairs to get there). Peace and quiet, able to meditate calmly.

Essence of Simplicity”
Durga represents the family and Rainbow exceptionally well! All of the family are welcoming and warm, engaging as you please, yet giving space for simply being amidst the expansive presence of Mount Arunachala, which is wonderously visible from Rainbow guesthouse. The large covered rooftop, with ample seating, is often quiet and allows for peacefully taking in the Mountain View, cool breezes, and simplicity of the moment. Especially appreciate the fresh drinking water provided on each floor, along with a refrigerator, should you need it. All those encountered at Rainbow were easy going and appreciative of the warmth and ease of the spaces provided. Met some lovely souls there. Thank you Durga and Family! Namaste.

My bedroom door opened to arunachala mountain. I was on the top floor, I would often have my breakfast on the rooftop and get to enjoy the amazing view! I loved that the place had two fridges for everyone to use. The family are amazing hosts. Very kind. The daughter and the dad speaks the most English. Cleanliness was good. Although, when I'd flush the toilet it would often bring a horrible sewage smell and smell for hours in my room. So even when I'd leave for the day, I would leave the fan on to ventilate the smell and when I'd come back it wouldn't be smelling anymore. I talked to the father of the family about this. There is wifi but only at the reception area. Who is good because then you're more social and less on your phone! There might have been some bugs living in the mattress but I don't know for sure because I didn't see them. I just woke up one morning with about 30 bites on both feet. I talked to a family member about it and he said he will change the mattress.

Gestione famigliare, cortese .Discreta pulizia che però non è giornaliera e deve essere richiesta . Non c’è l’aria condizionata. Non c’è Wi-Fi in camera ma solo in terrazza e comunque non sufficiente. Non c’è ristorante e non è possibile avere neppure una bottiglia di acqua minerale, tuttavia c’è un frigorifero comune e un boiler , sempre comune. Pessima doccia , wc senza uno scarico funzionante. E infine non accettano pagamenti con carta di credito. Non è una vera e propria guesthouse ! Tuttavia il posto è carino, tranquillo, piacevole. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è negativo rispetto agli standard indiani. Queste informazioni devono essere rese note prima di procedere alla prenotazione!

ネットでホテルを予約してから行きたかったので、口コミもよかったここに滞在しました。場所が中心からかなり離れていて、自転車を１日40ルピーで借りないと移動が大変です。バス停からは120ルピーで行きました。wifiの調子があまりよくなく、部屋では全く使えず、バルコニーでも使えたり使えなかったりでした。バルコニーからはアルナーチャラが正面に見えるのですが、昼間は欧米のグループが居座っていて自由に使えませんでした。部屋はとても広く、綺麗で快適でしたが、この街でこの値段は１番に近いくらい高い事がわかったので、予約日数以降は中心の方に移動しました。予算がたくさんあり、部屋に拘りがあり、遠さが気にならなければとてもいいホテルだと思います。
