I was slightly skeptical about this place reading the reviews, but I must say the stay way out-matched my expectations. Stayed here for 3 nights. Very clean and spacious rooms, dedicated parking, Courteous staff that are quick to attend to your demands. Overall a nice and pleasant stay here. They don’t have a dedicated restaurant, but given Zomato and Swiggy, that barely matters.

Located at centre of Pondy with connected area. Staffs are so polite. Rooms are small but maintained well. Protected car parking available but only lagging is breakfast which not available.

Excellent stay at Pondicherry”
Stay at Raj residency was excellent for a trip with my family to Pondicherry. The rooms are so clean and spacious and more importantly the toilets were also clean. 25 hours hot water is a great plus.

Hotel needs an upgrade! Passable stay”
The linen is not that clean, the room we stayed in was damp. We asked for room freshener twice, but the hotel did not provide it. Lots of mosquitoes. Only plus is the location, might work for budget travelers looking to spend 1 night. Although renovation is going on now, lots of scope for improvement.

Bad choice ”
It was a last minute decision to go to Pondicherry. Payed 7k per night . Property is clean , room was spacious . We'd opted suite room. Located in a gully road and the location is really too bad. Felt like never visiting pondi. They have a small parking which can accommodate 4 to 5 cars. There was continuous leakage of water and then after few hours of checkin there was no water at all. We didnt get hot water in the morning, they heated water with coil bucket by bucket . You dont get any good food around., we really had to starve . Not worth more than 1k to 1.5k per night and they charged 7k for this. I understand it was last minute call but when they couldn't manage basic things they shouldn't have charged that big.

There is a prostitution service running in the hotel ”
We were 4 and stayed in one of the large rooms . We constantly got calls during night times about this prostitution in hotel . They even mentioned room no :302 . It was so disgusting and they used to call to the telephone at peak hours 10-1 am . So definitely the hotel management know this shit .If you are going with families dont go at all .
