This hotel is located on Chulia Street and close to the nightlife in Penang. The location is very strategic and cheap to stay. The Filipino and Indonesian staff are all very friendly. The rooms are spacious and very cheap. It's worth it.

The room and facilities are suitable for the price, yes its hostel like. I slept like a baby there and had a free breakfast on the morning. Excellent, no deposit and so on. Really easy to deal.

i got there super late at around 10 PM, they got only upper bunk bed left, which im not really comfortable. luckily, the staff is super understanding, he give me another room to stay. thanks a lot!

Pros: - Ample breakfast with good range of food items to choose from - Room was comfortable and clean - Great location with many attractions and food choices within walking distance - Staff was very helpful and accommodating Cons: - Walls are quite thin and it can get quite noisy even when the staff are talking among themselves outside the room - Can have more wall hangers to hang things would be good, e. g. Clothing and so on

The price is cheap so cannot ask too much. Here is much better than one homestay we stayed in same area. Staff was friendy. Room is small and can be affortable. Shared showers are clean.

Staff was helpful, lokked after luggage as I arrived very early before check-in time. Very basic room and breakfast. But there are no lockers for luggage or backpacks. It is a big old shophouse with a huge hall, sofas and tables for common area. Toilets can be cleaner, and doors had no locks. But overall, it was a comfortable short stay for twi nights

Great location, right on the tourist area of Penang. Nice bed, but the sheets look dirty, and the blanket was a little bit smelly... Meet cute little mouse at breakfast area. The guest get free breakfast and cold/ hot water provided all day long. Nice shower stream, but soap is not provided from the hotel. With a little bit more maintenance, this can be a great hostel. 😁

Cheap and close to the party street”
Cheap and quiet. You might find it too quiet if you are looking for a community of young people to hangout with. However, there was one night with a lot of banging noise from upstairs which wasn't nice. When I was there, one of the staff saw me on Grindr and tried too hard to hit on me. He wasn't good looking at all so it was quite annoying. The best thing about the place was it was close to Love Lane which has many bars and you can easily find your way back to bed.
