Overall, the Pullman Kaifeng is a lovely place to stay with friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms and a brilliant breakfast buffet. The location is good although the grounds of the hotel are so massive that it takes a good ten minutes to walk to the road! This however, is not a deterrent as there are hotel owned golf buggies and taxis are easy to get. My only 2 gripes are to do with the placement of the lifts and the design of the bathrooms. The lifts - the hotel is only 2 stories so it's easy to walk up and down the stairs however, when you need to use the lift for luggage etc it's not so easy to find and when you do find it, it feels like you're accessing the staff entrance! The bathrooms - they're a great size however, the shower/bath recess is a good two huge steps down into a deep tub. Very contemporary in design but not so practical for elderly people or kids as you do need to hang onto a rail to get in! Still, a nice hotel in a fun city.

It was a very nice hotel and the people were very helpful. We have nothing to say about this hotel that was bad or non acceptable. I am so shocked with some comments on here that are negative etc etc. We were booking day to day while at this Hotel and we had all 8 days while there to change hotel or to leave and go somewhere else but we stayed in this hotel for the total visit. The staff , thanks a million for the way that you welcomed us. I travel about 40 trips a year. I know bad and I know the best. This was a little below a 5 star. Thanks to all again.

I like everything about the hotel. The room was big and nice and clean. The bed was soft and the bathroom has great shower and bathtub. Even the complimentary soap and shampoo are also excellent. However, the hotel staffs are even bettet than the hotel facilities and amenities. When I landed in Luoyang, the airline lost my luggage and Hyatt's staffs have helped me contact the airline and track all my luggage back to me. The hotel's chef also give me good recommendation to go everywhere. They are all very nice and very kind. The hotel service really was AAAAA. When you travel to China, where thing can sometime turn into disaster very quickly, I think you need somewhere to count on, where the local can help you deal with the problems and support you throughout your trip - Hyatt Place Luoyang is exactly that. It'll be your home away from home and sanctuary from all the problems. Totally recommend!

My family stayed in 3 different room categories, and even the standard room was very spacious, modern, and clean. The suite is much much bigger. Shortly after settling into the room, a manager came by to check if we were satisfied with the cleanliness which showed their attention to the guests' experience. Mr.David Zheng, a concierge manager who speaks very well English, was very helpful in assisting us during the stay. The hotel is a short taxi ride away to the shopping district. To my surprise, the David Plaza shopping mall is way up there with the very best in the country.

Upon arrival the staff were helpful and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. When we needed anything, the staff tried their very best to fulfill our requests. The hotel is right next to a mall which has some decent clothes shops and a good supermarket. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast is wide and varied, as we were vegetarians, staff made us vegetarian sushi each morning, very thoughtful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful they had a high English level. On check in I was given a room instead of suite as booked but as soon as I notified them of the mistake they were apologetic and quick to rectify the problem. The suite wasn't going to be available for another 30mins so they allowed me to rest in the original room until it was available. The staff were knowlegable whenever I asked a question about how to get somewhere or where something was located. The breakfast had a good selection of both Chinese and Western. The staff made omlettes on request and they tasted great. The rooms were all very clean and well kept and the housekeeping staff friendly and helpful. The beds are soft (not too soft though) and have a selection of peoples labled firm or soft for guests convenience. There was a mini bar in the room. There was no hint of cigarette smoke in either the room or suite which makes a pleasant change from most hotels in China. It was a bonus to find that there is a free shuttle between the hotel and the East fast train station. The purpose of my stay was to get away and relax which I was easily able to do here.I would definitely stay here again.

We had an enjoyable stay at Courtyard at Mariott. The hotel room is comfortable and the bathroom is very spacious. There is complimentary wifi available in the room as well. Breakfast was worth looking forward to, as the spread was really generous, whether you want to have Chinese or Western breakfast. The location of the hotel is not so convenient to public transport though. It's cheap to take a taxi around a zhengzhou, cost us only 9rmb to get from the hotel to Zhengzhou East high speed rail station and 25rmb to get to Zhengzhou railway station. Will be nice if there's complimentary hotel transfer though!

The service was excellent , Hardy our dinner waiter was exceptionally good in his service . Very polite , we ordered a cold chicken dish, he had it warmed because we prefer warm dish. Make us feel special. In the early morning the concierge booked our taxi was very helpful, provided us with two boiled eggs and buns , water. We learned that He has worked in Shangarila hotel in Singapore for four years. The hotel is very luxuriously furnished, modern and sparklingly clean! A 5 star hotel indeed.

So glad we chose this hotel, it made our stay in Dengfeng. Excellent value for money when you take into account breakfast and the fabulous kung fu show. The restaurant was delicious and the customer service outstanding with lots of little extras like a rose, biscuits before bed, king fu monk figures left in the room for the kids. Also the pillows were really comfortable!

One of the girl at the reception was very kind and help us arrange the taxi tour 1 day to shaolin temple at a very good price. Most of the time the receptionist couldn't speak english so it was a bit difficult to communicate but this is normal in china. Room was clean and amenities was very good. Location is close to food street. Overall we like our stay at the hotel.

This hotel is an excellent business hotel, centrally located, about 10 minutes from the International Exhibition Center. We stayed in the Holiday Inn Hotel, but had the breakfast at the Crown Plaza, which is an affiliated hotel, the breakfast buffet was great, with a big selection of various dishes, both Western and Asian. Service was excellent, all staff spoke English and were extremely helpful.

Though the hotel is not located in the downtown, its location is still pretty good. As it is nearby a subway station and only 5 km from the city's high-speed railway station, it is convenient for business people and tourists to take advantage of the fast transportation means. In addition, the breakfast choices are plenty and good enough. Finally, the front desk staffs are nice too.

A SPG (Sheraton's Preferred Guest) hotel in the middle of one of the polluted cities of China, so a nice respite from the environment with its modern interiors and welcoming staff. The room quality was okay, it felt a little dingy, especially the carpets, and it felt already overused (not fresh; the tables had cracks and the room's business chair's hydraulic for raising the seat was broken; the chair seat was dingy). I did not particularly like the room's layout but that is the Aloft style which you will be opening the front door right into the bathroom. But the bathroom was clean. Professional staff, and there is a breakfast buffet on the ground floor that serves mostly Chinese style breakfast with smatterings of western bread and eggs. I loved the lobby interior the best of part of my stay.

Best value for money I had so far in China (out of 16 hotels)! really friendly and extremely helpful personal, though their English could be better ;-) Rooms are good-sized, the beds are really comfortable and the room and bathroom were absolutely clean. Air con was working well and quiet, so it did not disturb us at all. The hotel is close to the peony park, which is worth visiting. Unfortunately not many restaurants around. The breakfast was okay, most Chinese food only toast and jam for continental breakfast - but hey, it was cheap.

VERY SAD EXPERIENCE!! I was made booking with AGODA three days before my flight schedule, and AGODA got all my information and made to CONFIRMED my booking. They issue me a booking confirmation but when time that I arrive in the property, the management could not accomodate my booking confirmation because their property is not capable to accommodate FOREIGNER.
