Hessen State hotels & accommodations

This was easily one of the best apartment hotels I had the pleasure of staying in while traveling through Germany. Its location near the mall made it easy to go shopping, though it was a little further away from public transportation to access the rest of the city. The staff was quite helpful, though there were a few times when a request was forgotten or arrived much l...

Stayed for 1 night, paid just EUR40 for a relatively last-minute booking. Location to the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof was a priority so didn't have any other high level of expectations (given also the price); and for the price I paid, this is as best as it can get in central Frankfurt :) 3-min walk from the train station. Room was clean, not too cramped .. staff were effici...

Really first class location. From airport to hotel could not be simpler with S Bahn and one stop change to U station which then stopped at hotel front door. 5 minutes walk to pedestrian shopping area. Although definitely a business hotel because of its location, did not feel out of place as a holiday couple. Everything needed for breakfast was there. Evening meal...

Booked for 3 nts for Xmas markets early December. Unfortunately on arrival I was informed that due to overbooking there wasn't a room available for my first night, however they could accommodate me in their sister hotel in the centre of town, paid for a taxi there and one back the next morning after breakfast. I was very disappointed, as my friends were staying in the ...

Hotel is in a position away from the centre of city but 100m to tram for a 15 minute trip Breakfast was delicious and plentiful to suit all tastes. Staff were exceeding helpful when our refrigerator did not work they immediately changed our room, and had brochures ready to show us the best tourist sites and complimentary water

I book InterCityHotel Frankfurt because it was near enough to the train station to walk and far enough from the train station that you don't hear the train sounds at all. Room was very comfortable and clean. No weird smells. As it was a non-smoking floor on the ground floor, it wasn't safe to keep the windows open. So I could only open the windows for a short while t...

the hilton garden inn at frankfurt airport is a new property that caters to passengers looking for a comfortable room during an airplane or train lay-over. the hotel is no more than 5 minutes on foot from the airport (1 minute from the long-distance train station). standard rooms have adequate size and are very tastefully decorated. staff go out of their way to be c...

Pros- -Friendly staff -Arranged taxi for early morning flight back to the States (40€ taxi drive) -Provided packed breakfast since we were leaving early -Fruit, mini chocolates, and brownies were complimentary in the room -Room was clean and accommodating for our family of 3 (5yr old) -Air conditioning in room -Close to Central Station (~1 BLK) Cons -Glass shower divi...

Stayed at this hotel during June for two nights while visiting Frankfurt for business. It was clean and modern and the suite was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had its own washer/dryer which can come in pretty handy during extended stays. Also had that nifty towel warmer which was great. I appreciated having a balcony though it is very small, almo...

Staff does not, apparently, read any special requests made at booking, even if the request is in German! I have stayed here on three occasions, always requesting a room on the "parking lot side" of the hotel. on ALL THREE TIMES my initial room assignment was on the other side of the hotel! This most recent time, I made the request in German and was STILL (initially.....

I have stayed there for 03 days with my family. This is the best cheap hotel in frankfurt. They gave us family room in newly furnished building. The room was so clean and all the facilities mentioned was provided us. The reception staff was very helpful. I highly recommended this hotel for families with budgeted plan.

The Expo Hotel is centrally located on the Zeil shopping strip in the Frankfurt innerstadt. This provided us with a lot of things we could do and access just by walking around, and we never had to use the subway during our stay (even though it was just several meters away). Even the Palmengarten is a comfortable 30-minute stroll from the hotel and we chose to walk ther...

Traveled to Frankfurt for business and found WELCOME-- a simple, clean, and reasonably priced hotel within brief walking distance of the Frankfurt Messe. I arrived from the airport at 10 AM after an overnight flight, and even though check-in isn't officially until 2 PM, the front desk attendant was kind enough to let me check in early and get some rest to start adjusti...

My husband and I stayed on 17-18 June and 23 June. Rooms are modestly priced and amply accomplish the major tasks of a hotel, to provide a safe, clean, comfortable, and quiet place to sleep and shower. Front desk staff was quite helpful, allowing us to leave our baggage at the hotel while we were touring, as we arrived long before the check-in time. The hotel offers...

the hotel is great and if you ask me the best 3 things i would say location location and location. the check inn took less than 2 minutes and staff was very helpfull and smiling. the only thing which i didnt like in the hotel was if its a four star hotel it should have tea/coffee making facilty in the room. lots of halal resturants in the vicinty and bed was comfortab...

Hotel Victoria Frankfurt was just perfect for our two night stay in Frankfurt. Nice spacious room for the three of us and comes with complimentary breakfast which was good enough. The best thing about the hotel is it's location. We arrived in Frankfurt via train and the hotel was an easy walk, less than 5 minutes, from the train station. And it was easy to walk to the...

This was my fourth stay at the NH messe & I enjoyed every second of it. They gave me the best room in the hotel which was spacious , very clean and with an amazing view ! The staff are just lovely, they always go above and beyond to make my stay as perfect as possible. Thank you :) I definitely recommend this hotel

I am very happy with my stay in this hotel. The staff event help us to print out air tickets. Breakfast charging euro 10, but not its just a standard German breakfast. Suggestion for adding some variety of international breakfast will worth euro 10. Suggestion to add a room as luggage room will be more appropriate than putting our luggage at the reception. The hot...

This hotel seemed good value but I was worried it was a bit far away from the Messe. In the event it is actually very convenient. A bus 30 or 36 from opposite the front entrance to the Schoene Ausicht stop just after the Main River bridge is just a short walk to the Roemer / Dom U-Bahn station from where it is three stops to the Messe.

Pros- great location in the center of the city. Very modern rooms. Room bar on the house:)) excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful stuff CONS - hotel employee was attacked at night by so called "refuges" but this unfortunate event haven't affect the stay. Stay vigilant at all times even in good neighborhood.

This hotel is well maintained, clean, tidy and comfortable. There are several good food options nearby and a lovely riverside park. As I was unwell during my stay I found it a little bit far away from transport options, but for travellers with access to a car, or who are happy to walk slightly longer, it is well worth a visit.

We went there with another couple who already checked in Sheraton Airport (some months ago). Even they said nh airport is cleaner than Sheraton. It is really nice at nh hotel and for this rate it is the best opportunity to stay overnight very close to the airport. There even is a shuttle from airport to nh. every half an hour. when we checked out we had to pay 3€ each....

This was my second stay at this Hotel. Beds are comfortable, rooms are big and clean. Just the lighting in the room is a little bit too dark for me. The staff is always very nice and helpful. And the location of the hotel is perfect for no matter what you want to do. Huge plus is the skyline plaza mall right next to it. I'd definitely book this hotel again!

was very nice and pleasant stay. i had to book another night last minute and they were very accomodating. the hostel, which really should be called a hotel is super secure - 24hour reception, and a "buzz in" only entrance to the accomodation section of the building meaning no one who doesnt live there can go in. lockers under the bed to put your stuff. i happily le...

Very clean and comfortable bed and room condition so i could sleep better than my home / however, i booked this hotel during fair in Messe Frankfrut so there was no room remained and i reallized the room was man and woman using together. I was little embarrased of it but it was okey than my expectation but the bathroom was problem because of it. The bathroom should be ...

We were very, very pleased with this hotel! To start, we requested early check-in when we made our booking - and our room was in fact ready when we arrived around 10:30 AM. This is a hotel for budget travelers, and we expected small rooms - but we were favorably impressed with the comfortable size of the room itself as well as the closets and other storage areas.

I had originally intended to stay at a hostel for my one night in Frankfurt, but I had a particularly long flight and knew that I'd probably need a bit of a nap and an early night. I booked this hotel just a few hours before arriving in Frankfurt and I am so glad that I did. The location is AWESOME. You can be at the Frankfurt Main train station in a five minute walk...

We booked this hotel because it appeared to be the cheapest (even cheaper than the hostels we found). It's about 30minutes walk away from the train station but still pretty centrally located. It also felt really safe when walking from the city centre to the hotel even though the surrounding of the hotel can be a bit creepy at night but the hotel is close to the main ro...

The hotel is located in the NordWestZentrum about 17mins from Grankfurt City Centre. However they have everything you need at the Zentrum which is literally at the front door of the hotel. There are great transport links. The hotel it’s self is very clean, good beds and excellent showers. The staff are there for anything you need.

When I visit Frankfurt I used to stay in a hotel near the Central Train Station but because of the fair the prices are increase so high and most of the hotels in the city are fully booked , so this time I selected this hotel in Bad sodden which is 30 minute far away from the heart of Frankfurt , but it is easy to reach the central Train Station by using Train line S3 e...

Fantastic staff welcome comfy rooms excellent value and quality evening meal and amazing value breakfast Mr Bacca our host was exemplary in his service and all the staff were attentative Fabulous veal meal stuffed with figs and spices from the Vietnamese chef Well done we will call again I will

We enjoyed our stay even though we mainly used the room for sleeping only. It was in easy access to the city but parking maybe difficult during a peak travel season. We did not have any problems with parking since we came back to the hotel during the late/odd hours of the day.

My favourite band, mesh, were playing at the Das Bett venue which is about 300 metres from the hotel. I booked the hotel because of its location. The reviews of the hotel were very average but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms have recently been renovated and they are all very nice. Staff were great and I would definitely stay again.

I BOOKED A ROOM NON REFUNDABLE. WHEN I ARRIVED TO THE HOTEL ON THE RECEPCION THEY WANTED 34 EUROS FOR ROOM. I PAYED THIS MOENY. WHEN I ARRIVED HOME, I SAW, THAT THE HOTEL TOOK AWAY THE 34 EUROS FROM MY ACCOUNT. SO I PAYED TWOO TIMES FOR ROOM. I WRITE THE HOTEL, SEND ME BACK THE MOENY, THEY DON'T CARE. I DON'T BELIVE MORE IN GERMAN HONOR, I HOPE, THAT THEY SPENT THIS M...

Very nice and quite area. The staff was friendly. The distance is equal for all sightseeing, about 30 minutes walking. We visited Botanical garden, Science museum, Main Tower and we walked almost through all interesting places. The minus could be no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. But for us it was not a problem.

I had to do late night check in and night shift receptionist waited for me she was nice. Can't say the same for morning receptionist. After ignoring me at breakfast She said" check out 12 o"clock sir for your information" and it was only 9 o 'clock yet. Hotel was clean breakfast was avarage.

I needed a hotel close to the train station to catch on earlyflight out from Frankfurt. The Leonrado Hotel was perfect, reasonably priced, clean and very efficient. The friendly gentleman at the reception nodded his head when I told him my name, gave me the room key, and welcomed me. No back and forth about my computer booking and such. Ideal hotel for my purpose

I have stayed at Steigenberger Hotel in Bruxelles Belgium before, which, I agree, is a 5 star hotel. Before I made a hotel reservation in Frankfurt, I thought that this Steigenberger hotel would be at the same level of hotel as the one in Bruxelles. I also saw that Agoda placed 5 star as well, so I was comfortable with my choice. However, this one did not have the cl...

The Maritim Hotel is a top-tier property designed more to meet the requirements of a business traveler than a leisure traveler. While the hotel offers all the amenities and infrastructure required for a business trip, it is not within walking distance of tourist attractions. For reference, take notice that it is very close to the Frankfurt Messe (prime location for t...

Novotel is always a safe choice. however, the location is not good. tthe direct distance is short from the train station, but not easily to be accessed. the elevators in the train station didn't work. if you have luggages with you, that's a nightmare. but the hotel itself is nice.

Stayed for 4 nights on biz trip. - Location cannot be more convenient. - Very quiet : worried at the beginning since it is close to Hbf. There is an Irish pub in the next bldg, but hardly heard. - Serves decent breakfast. - Carefully maintained and clean. - Staffs were kind. By far the better choice than Centro Hotel National.

We stayed here as part of a group. However if I was travelling individually I would not have booked this hotel because of the exhorbitant cost of wifi. In most hotels charging for wifi is a thing of the past and this hotel group should change their policy. Until they do I will not stop at one of their hotels again, which is a shame as the overall experience of this hot...

Nice Hotel situated close to Frankfurt Zoo and Berger Straße. I had a spacious room in 4th floor. Nicely decorated, good matress, clean and well equipped bathroom. Room has all amenities required for a comfortable stay. Very quiet if you have a room facing the backyard with a patio door to open. Only one lift which can get a bit crowded at peak times. If you come by ca...

A nice hotel. The staff is very helpful. It is a little bit far from the city center but its proximity to the Hessen tram station (one minute walk)makes transportation very easy. Also there is a shopping center very near to the hotel. I would go back to this hotel during my next visit to Frankfurt.
Luxury hotels in Hessen State

This hotel is new (opened last year) therefore the standard of the rooms is excellent. The staff were lovely and friendly and the bellboy and concierge remembered my name every time they saw me! Only 6 floors with a state of the art elevator. I would recommend booking a room with breakfast if you want to eat breakfast. I had it only on one day as I was meeting frien...

We were extremely pleased with our recent stay at the Intercontinental Frankfurt. The location is fantastic, very close to the HauptBahnhof (Central Train Station) and only about 10-15 minutes walking from the Innenstadt (city center). We had a room on the 12th floor, and the view of the city and the river Main is really unparalleled; that is definitely one of the ma...

the hotel has a beautiful view from the center of the city, and is far higher up than most other hotels available in frankfurt. the prices vary wildly depending on when one books, so sometimes it is difficult to find a good deal, but if the timing is right it is an excellent place to stay. overall an excellent value, though i was surprised not to have a safe in my room...

We arrived too early to Frankfurt at 9am & was unable to check in as the hotel policy was 3pm for room check-in. So we had to wait for many hours at the hotel lobby tired & did not know what to do. The front desk staffs were doing their best to get a room cleaned for us but could not do much. Finally they got us a room at 1:30pm which was slightly earlier than expect...

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's very seductive in feel, and it's quite deliberate with everything tailored to make you feel that little bit risqué. Loved the décor, the great room, and the spa. Gym was a bit small for a clientele that probably wants to work out, so maybe invest and expand into one of the meeting room areas. HUGE negative was the fact that sm...

This really was a fine hotel experience with all the comforts and services you could wish for. The bedroom was large, and furnished with a writing desk and easy chairs. There was a large selection of TV stations in many languages. An excellent evening meal at a very reasonable price with very helpful and good-humoured waitresses and waiters.

Westin Frankfurt is close to city centre: all attractions, supermarket, shops, and restaurants! Note that Frankfurt city is quite compact relative to other German cities like Munich. I won't book from agoda.com because few days later Westin was fully booked and we decided to continue our stay in Frankfurt at Jumeirah and agoda.com double booked me and I was charged 2 x...

This Hotel is incredible. Spacious lovely rooms, all the amenities one needs. Lovely restaurants and bar area complete the deal. it has a spa I didn't try but my colleague said that its great. Just that thehotel is wayyy too big so sometimes you have to walk to the rooms for 3-4 mins, still I have stayed many times in this hotel..its absolutely great.

Antique building, furnitures and atmosphere, me and my wife stayed here for honeymoon travel, we both completely agreed the best place we experienced in our life. We really thanks to all hotel staff kindness and hospitality, we had wonderful memories and pictures in Schloss Hotel. One day, when we can make to travel in Germany, 100% sure visit here again. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with nice rooms. When we arrived we were given a room which did not match the standard that we had paid for, but even though the hotel was full the staff were amazing. A night manager was exceptional and went out of her way to rectify the problem. The location and staff make this hotel!

We were upgraded to a very nice view room for two nights. The minibar was inclusive of our price. Not a fan of mini bar though. Tried to reserve the gourmet restaurant but it was either closed or booked up by conference. We ended up dinning at the burg restaurant twice. Environment was imppecable, semi alfresco overlooking the vineyards. They lit up the heater a...

The small town of Wetzlar is a perfect example, offering a mix of history and charm with its well-preserved medieval architecture and stunning views from the Wetzlar Cathedral. Here, visitors can wander through narrow streets lined with quaint shops and cafés, providing a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of larger cities.
Another hidden gem is the Felsenmeer (rock sea) near Lautertal, a unique geological formation that offers stunning hiking trails and breathtaking views. This natural wonder is perfect for those seeking adventure and tranquility in nature, away from the more crowded tourist spots. The nearby Grimm's Fairy Tale Route invites travelers to explore enchanting landscapes and charming villages that inspired the beloved fairy tales, adding a touch of magic to your journey.
For a taste of local culture, visit the Documenta exhibition in Kassel, which showcases contemporary art and attracts international artists. This event, held every five years, transforms the city into an art lover's paradise and is often overlooked by casual tourists.
