Stayed a total of 4 nights. The hotel was not new but it was well maintained. The hotel is right in front of Hankou Railway Station, which have high-speed railway station, metro station, multiple bus stops. It is a very convenient location for traveling around Wuhan and there were many restaurants around also. The staff spoke very good English and was very professional. The room size was not so big for 5 stars hotel and its price.

I stayed in the hotel for two nights. I had one dinner buffet and one breakfast buffet in the hotels. The variety of the food is good but the quality could have been better for a five-star hotel. The staff in the lobby and the café shop are excellent, well-trained and friendly. As for the room, it is spacious for a double-bed room. Most of all, the location of the hotel is the best among its merits. It oversees the Yangtze River. It is really enjoyable to walk along the park along the river bank at both sunrise and sunset. Overall, I will definitely reside in it if I ever visit Wuhan again.

The rooms are great. Not as spacious as their sister hotel, but nonetheless cosy and nice design details. Restaurants are good, beautifully designed, but when we dined at the Chinese restaurant there I wished there were more choices on the local cuisines, and not Cantonese food which honestly, mediocre with its standard. Breakfast is great - lots of choices with fresh produce. Not bad at all. Then comes the spa.... we booked a massage session trying to relax after a long and dreadful work week, upon arrival at the spa we were guided into the rooms, again beautifully designed, fully padded floors with mattress inlays, lighting dimmed to the perfect level, we got changed and getting ready for our long waited relaxing session. Masseuse walked in, background soothing music on, room temperature set, heavy eyelids... ready to indulge.... then 5 minutes later, Star War music pumping into our room! Soon we realised the banquet hall located directly below the spa rooms are rehearsing for a corporate annual dinner or some sort, our relaxing experience was COMPLETED RUINED. To be fair, Star War soundtrack ain't exactly my choice to be my massage background music. The noise disruption pretty much lasted the rest of the 55 minutes. We dd asked the masseuse but understandably they can't do much about it. We later asked the hotel manager to reflect this incident, although he did apologised for the 'misfortune', nothing was done about it.... RMB 1,400 (price for massage) down the drain... I do think that the Puyu is a good hotel in general (nice rooms, lobby lounge...), but needless to say I was very disappointed with our experience in the spa, and how the managerial staff has done nothing about it - I do expect a reasonable explanation & compensation gesture to show that the hotel value the guest's experience, and not just 'looking good'.

We have stayed in the Ramada Plaza hotel on many occasions and it seems to be losing some of its charm shown to us in the past. The rooms don't seem as clean as they used to be for example. The breakfast buffet is still quite good but not as good as it once was. The evening buffet in the revolving restaurant is definitely only a two-star affair or less. The venue is not clean and the meal is disorganized and the variety of food is second rate at best.

Generally good, as it's already my 4th stay at the same hotel. No negative surprises. A few additional comment other than no fitness center - the corn frakes and museli at breakfast are moist....need some attention. Also the WiFi in-room connection is intermittent this time, not sure what happened but since I have my own personal broadband so did not bother to report the problem to hotel staff.

I had a great time in this 5 star serviced residence. The price is soo cheap for all the amenities they offer there. Huge room, superb service. All the equipments in the room are first class. They even have a washing/ drying machine in the room, with washing detergent supplied every day. Shopping mall is right next door. ATM machine is down stairs. Receptionists speak perfect English, and very courteous and helpful. Cleaning staffs are very attentive and honest. Short distance to the Yellow Crane Tower, which is the top attraction in Wuhan. Taxi ride to there from the hotel is only 20 RMB. Taxi to and from the airport is about 80-100 RMB, and takes about one hour.

The service of staff, abundance of staff, quality throughout the hotel was of great excellence and far above our expectations and considerably under-stated on your website,- ulike many hotels, especially in China, who over-state ! We were also offered an upgrade to a suite as a further bonus although we did see the room grade we booked & this was equaly excellent - just slightly smaller but still massive & capacious. It was exceptional value for money. ( sadly you will see a review for another hotel we booked with you in Guanzhou that fell far short of our expetations ! )

I was there with my son for an immersion program in one of the schools. So everyday I have to book a taxi to the school, and its very difficult to get taxis in the morning. Taxis can only be book if u have DiDi set up in wechat (which I dun have). The concierge staff use his person to help me book taxis and paid for it first, what an absolutely amazing service!!! My son and I thoroughly enjoy our stay at New World Wuhan hotel for 2 weeks. We felt very at home. The room was EXCELLENT, clean and wonderful. If u r going Wuhan, I recommend u to stay at this hotel.

I loved it. I've been coming to China for a couple of years now and the rating system isn't exactly what it is in other countries. The span or quality for a supposed four star hotel can vary drastically. This was by far one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at. They even catered to a Valentines day request via e-mail with no problems at all. English and Mandarin friendly of course but not sure what other languages they might also know or have access to. Loved their breakfast also. Tons to choose from starting with fresh fruits and assorted cereals all the way to traditional style Chinese foods. Room service is reasonable but of course a little pricey compared to the street, but then again you are paying for convenience. Step outside the front door though and you are near any type of restaurant and convenience store you can think of. Hope this review enables some one to have an enjoyable stay.

Been to at least a dozen countries and traveled extensively, and seldom have I ever met a staff that is more willing to do the very best they can 110% of the time...But there are a couple of things that from a Westerners perspective, could easily be improved that would bring a couple of more 5 star ratings to the table. And they do not take much effort or any major management changes. These would include, maybe a floor or a few rooms with hot water for those who are accustomed to having it...again maybe mostly for westerners. This and having a couple of popular other-country- beers, like Budweiser and Heineken, that are on the menu, but not available. I can promise you that these simple changes or improvements can bring great joy and rest to a weary traveler from outside of China who finds himself in what otherwise already is a very challenging environment...But again, I take my hat off to the staff. The water temperature was raised on my floor, and someone went outside to get beer :)

Very pleased with room quality, my 2 1/2 year old son enjoyed the "comforts" very much as did we. Check in was a little more complicated than need be and the hotels version of Nasi Goreng (In the restaurant) bore absolutely no semblance of similarity to the true recipe! Minor things, we loved hotel and would stay there again. At present there is major construction work proceeding in the area which detracts from the experience of walking along certain nearby streets.

I come here quite often and like the hotel. This time the pool was a lot busier than usual, this is because it was holiday season, hey ho. Just my preference, I like an emptyish pool when swimming. No matter. All was decent again except that for the 3rd time, despite me request, my room was too hot and stuffy and the aircon cold control inadequate. I mentioned it to the staff member who remembered me from last time (moany English guy I guess). I put the setting on cold, 16 degrees, 18 hours later the room was still 25.5 degrees, I am a pasty northerner after all! So down I went again. It took quite a while for them to see to it. I recommended that like last time the filter needed cleaning in the until (just like it does in apartment aircons) and low and behold, filter cleaned IO assume, the room got much cooler and more comfortable. A message, clean your aircon filters, 3 stays, 3 times I the same issue. at least the last 2 times the guy fixed it, not just opened a window as previous

It's quite a new hotel. It's clean & the staffs are friendly. It has got all the facilities like a 4 or 5 stars hotel. However, We didn't enjoy our stay there because the location of the hotel is considered not good ... there are no good shops or restaurants around the hotel for tourists. Calling a taxi is also a problem and time consuming as the hotel around area is under construction of highway and the taxi drivers don't like to come to pick up customers. This hotel is good only for business people who got transportation arrangement.

On good side This is very nice and awesome afterall. However, this hotel can only accept domestic visa card, so people from other nationa should bring cash with them. They need to note on Agoda to guest to pay later at hotel & cant use Int’l card. One more thing is my room 1017 can’t adjust the cold water in bathroom. Look like it broken, can only use hot water for bath, really hot

We were surprised at the level of English of the staff and how accomodating they were for all our needs. Service was the best we have experienced in China. And food was simply delicious, whether it was the extensive breakfast buffet, the tasty dinner menu, or the snacks in the bar. They also had a very good wine menu. And all was very reasonally priced for a five star hotel. Next time we are in Wuhan, we would definitely stay there.

Excellent room, like good quality Best Western in USA. I am glad that we chose this hotel. Clean, good bed, toiletries, lots of space, nice tub and shower with unlimited hot water, A/C just fine. The view west through floor-to-ceiling wide window was delightful and restful. aces west, very quiet (o McD and KFC are across street from front door; many real restaurants are on this main street, and close by towards river. Hotel ordered taxi for morning to airport; arrived on time, 150RMB, good price.

The hotel, overall, was a pleasant stay, although I was there for only one night. My room was called a suite, and it included a living space, a small kitchen, office space, dining space, a separate room (with a very large and comfortable bed) and an attached bathroom. It's a very nice room. While the service is quite good, many of the staff do not speak English well, but will try their best to understand you or refer you to a member of staff who does speak English well. There aren't too many facilities in the hotel, but given my short stay, I didn't need many. The best thing about the hotel was the value for money and the spacious rooms.

We stayed from nov 27 to dec 01, in an exec room. For the price, it is really good value for money! Room is clean and spacious. However, there was always this subtle stench smell from the ventilator in the toilet. Not sure if it was just our room... otherwise it is ok. The owner spent so much money to make the hotel look so grand but one could not even find one tea spoon in their restaurant! How amazing! I asked for one to stir my coffee since the first day and til the last day, they were still telling me they did not have any! They gave me a plastic stirrer instead! It is a common sight not to find any proper pavement in Wuhan and not to even talk about sheltered walkway! But I would expect to at least be dropped off under the sheltered drop-off point in front of the hotel! This hotel has one but was blocked by potted plants!! It rained everyday during our stay, so could you imagine? The drop-off point is just part of the prop I supposed! Location wise, surroundings are quiet. There's a metro station nearby, about 15 to 20 mins walk. Believe me, it is very challenging to walk! There's no proper pedestrian walkway, you will be constantly honk by the hell-drivers/riders! And at the same time, to look out for big holes on the road! Thank God we survived! Well, if it were not for my daughter who was on exchange program, I do not think I will ever step into this city! Not for holiday, for sure!

Although the hotel is just 300m from Xiangyang Station, the food choice was limited, especially at night. Though the staff did not speak much English, they were very friendly and also gave us breakfast without us paying anything extra. We booked only two standard rooms with double bed, but the rooms we got was very big with living area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. The housekeeper gave us new towels and all the amenities everyday. The room condition was quite old and the mat smells. The room did not seems to be serving many guests that when I first turn on the bath tub tap, there was dirt coming out from it. I got a room next to the elevator and there was a suspicious door in the bathroom that did not make my stay so comfortable.
