I booked for three nights, but finally stayed 5 nights. Oldest hotel in Sihanoukville. Jacky Kennedy stayes here in 1967. Next to the main (original) building, they are building more rooms with balcony. Personally I prefered to stay at the main building, because you have the athmosphere of the old days... So after one night I changed from a deluxe balcony to a deluxe in the main building. I stayed here in August, low season, so it was very quiet at the hotel. It is a little bit isolated too, but that is the charm of it. The hotel provides you in a shuttle bus severel times a day to go to te centre of Sihanoukville and from there you can visit the other, more busy, beaches. Great buffet breakfast with a lot of choices and they changes every day. The staff is extremely helpfull and kind. Big swimmingpool. Only the seats around the swimmingpool should be renewed. If I come back to Sihanoukville, I would stay here again. For sure!

We really enjoyed our leisure time in this best in class hotel in Sihanoukville. Starting from private beach and tasty breakfasts to our room furnishing, service, fitness centre and spa. Personnel tries to do their best to ensure the top level of your rest. For example, receptionist Anna was always ready to assisst with any request. And our special thanks to Duty manager Mr. Dos Pon who was very helpful. The only little area for development could be different density of pillows on the bed, as all 4 pillows were rather big, so it would be great to have 2 of them a little lower and softer. All the rest was perfect: clean cosy private beach, nice pool area, large and beautiful tidy territory, delicious breakfast with variety of European dishes and, sure, relaxing ocean view from our room. We would recommend this hotel to people who feel tired and would like to relax and refresh.

Hotel is fine. Good breakfast. Decent rooms. BUT Sihanoukville is being rebuilt for Chinese gamblers. There is mud - and dust - everywhere, broken sewers and noise of construction from 7.30am until after it get dark. OK if you are a Chinese gambler, not so good if you don't like the side-effects of casinos etc being constructed. In 2 years it will be a different town.

Fantastic resort with a beautiful beach & very nice bar & restaurant. We particularly liked chanrat, she was a lovely waitress and made us laugh and always asking how our stay was going. We took advantage of the happy hour, ginger martini was the best. We enjoyed the resort so much we stayed a 3rd night as couldn’t face the thought of having to stay in Sihanoukville the night before our flight. Do yourself a favour & just come straight to Koh rong from the airport as Sihanoukville is horrendous. This place is the only paradise left.

Arriving at the White Boutique Hotel was like finding an oasis in the middle of a vast desert (the long drive from Phnom Penh plus the acres of Chinese construction sites certainly made it seem like one). Once we stepped into White Boutique Hotel we were overcome instantly by a sense of peace, relaxation and warmth. The hotel was very well kept, the private beach was amazing and we had all our meals from the hotel’s fantastic restaurant, served right on the water’s edge. (The breakfast was especially delicious!) We only had 24 hours in Sihanoukville but it definitely seemed much longer. We rented SUPs on Ottes Beach near the hotel, and had a beach massage as well. I would highly recommend White Boutique Hotel to all - the horrible drive from Phnom Penh there is worth it, but better go quick before Sihanoukville gets too built up and swarmed by crowds...

Having escaped the construction site that is Sihanoukville the 40 min ferry journey (Company GTVC) drops you directly at the resort that can only be described as a tropical paradise. The hotel is directly on the beach where the warm water of the sea gently laps it. After nearly 3 weeks travelling this place is just what was required for some well earned R&R. The rooms (ours was a de-luxe) which are all located in villas around the main bar and dining room are large and well equipped with a wide range of complimentary amenties and air-conditioned) The staff are very friendly and have good English (Sylvan stands out). Whilst you can use your credit card to pay for your room,food and drinks beware there is no ATM on the island. The staff help with arranging onward travel arrangements. The resort has a good sized pool and fully equipped gym. The food was plentiful and of a good standard with a wide range of options to suit different tastes. I would highly recommend

me and my girlfriend were enjoy pretty much on this beautiful island, they provided the best services for us, they even upgraded our next day room to the same villa as well. They given me little birthday surprise even my birthday is already over for 3days. The room is very big with excellent ocean view, we pretty much enjoy our time in the villa. Main pool with great infinity view, u may enjoy ur dinner in this place. They provided many watersports and activities. We had our best memories in this island. Thank you Song Saa.

I was a bit anxious booking my way to Sihanoukville - concerned about transport from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville. I noted that Beach Club Resort could provide airport transport ($60) so I decided to bit the bullet and go with them. I was not disappointed. I was met at the airport by a guy with my name on the sign and I was the only passenger. End of anxiety. The hotel was quiet, located within 5 min walk of the beach and close to convenience shopping. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast (included) was presented nicely and omelettes were prepared on the spot. A wonderful place to spend the weekend

Stayed here for 4 nights last week after spending 2 nights in the crazy Sihanoukville and what i will say the Moonlight Resort is paradise. Wonderful postion on the best part of the beach on Koh Rong Samloem Island and most unique accomodation. If you want to stay in special accomodation stay here. The accomodation is beautiful looking eco-design dome bungalows looking like a "funky igloo" postion on clean white sands looking onto crystal clear water. Your bed is placed under a round skylight enabling you to look at the beautiful sky at night. We ate in the wonderful design restaurant every night and the food is beautifully cooked and served professionally. There is a great selection of drinks at very afforable prices. Please try the fresh lemon juice drink so refreshing. What makes this place special is the staff and the manager Axel they seem to be a one big happy family looking after all the customers needs. Did i mention the music playing in the restaurant it is so cool to listen to and relax. I will be back here again for more enjoyment. One very happy customer, i will give it 10 out of 10. Also the wifi is the fastest on the Island.

We were very happy with our stay at Sahaa. Sihanoukville itself is still in early stages of development for luxury accomm, so a lot is still backpacker hostels and starting to see big casino style hotels. So we were really happy with our choice of Sahaa which was a boutique hotel, which felt premium, personal and great value for money. The place is beautifully decorated with a lot of white settings and a pretty little pool and a great location right on Otres 1. Though the roads are still a bit under developed, it didn’t bother us too much and just across from the road is a beautiful long stretch of beach - also definitely recommend Otres Beach over the rest of the beaches In Sihanoukville. Lots of little bars and restaurants right on the beach there. Definitely recommend!

what more could we say...we simply had the best time in Sihanoukvile! From welcoming drinks -beers ( courtesy from the hotel owner) and been served right to us at the swimming pool, lovely roses surprises in our hotel room as my fiance just proposed to me! Imagine on a chilling day by the beach and delicious Fish amok only in Ren - yes !! the best amok we've tried in Sihanoukvile! Kudos to Ren crews! Big clap to you guys! Sihanoukvile - Ren Resort will always hold a special place in our heart!

Very comfortable stay. We were afraid that since there was no AC in our room, it will be very hot. But it's not. The room is clean. The location is at the saracen bay which I think it's the better part of Koh Rong Samleom. It's about 20 min walk to Lazy Beach. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They offered us welcome drinks and arranged our transfer back to Sihanoukville. The overall vibe is very chill and relaxing. Would love to stay again!!

Was so sad to leave. We had a perfect stay. I will be telling friends and family to absolutely go to Koh Rong Samleom and stay here if ever in Cambodia. The travel time (coming from Siem Reap) was well worth it. Best decision ever! Walked up and down the beach and can definitely say this resort is SO much better than any other resort on this side of the island. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The One also has the best beach, there is no need to leave the resort. Absolutely stunning, felt like a paradise! Wish we had the option to book a beach front bungalow. The food options could be improved but we found a few good dishes. There was a resort a few places over called Lime Beach Lounge that had good food. I'm sure you could find others. It's convenient, but you don't need to eat every meal here.

-Amazing location -Great view -Nice food, and very accommodating staff and chef. I always wanted my food to be customized and the chef did what I asked for her. She even cooked something for me which was not even in the menu, twice. -Bed in the cottage was a bit of an issue as in order to make it soft, they have put a quilt on the bedding which made me sink in every time I lied down, so I had to remove it every night to sleep. -The cottage was amazing, absolutely soundproof, and the open bathroom was nice. -The boat used for snorkeling was an old boat and not one of the nicer speed boats which I saw were being used by other hotels. This surprised me as Royal Sands is the only 5-star resort on the island and I did not expect any other hotel to have any facility better than this. - Most clear water on the beach I have ever seen. - Room is very intelligently desiged, AC Duct rght at the door step, a super comfortable couch in front of TV. - Full marks to staff.

Everywhere is Sihanoukville is being developed, there is construction on every corner so this is no exception. That being said we would return and would book this resort again. Short walk to the beach, very spacious bungalows, huge comfortable beds with great pillows and amazing staff. The resort is still being finished but the pool was the best in the area., after checking out other hotels walking distance we were happy without decision to stay here. Otres Beach is beautiful, much more relaxed and quieter than the beaches closer to the town. Recommend walking to the far end of Otres Beach for dinner at the Secret Garden. At the time of writing breakfast was provided in a different hotel whilst Mangrove builds the restaurant in the resort, they provide a shuttle to breakfast but it is actually walking distance (10 mins). The plans for Mangrove River sound awesome, we look forward to returning one day.

We are a group of 7 with booking of 3 rooms in Sea Breeze Resort, Sihanoukville for 2 nights. Upon checking in, one room had funny smell but was quickly changed to another without much fuss. The resort / room itself is clean and comfortable, but the road leading to the hotel were muddy and bumpy. Beach is only across the road, 100-200m away, one can sight beautiful sunset there. Resort staffs are friendly, helpful and speak sufficient English. The resort manager - Natalia was kind enough to arrange her staff to pick up my personal stuff from sihanoukville bus station. Breakfast was included, with both local and western menu to choose from. Only thing we found annoying was the low speed wifi in our room. But it works well in the reception or breakfast area.

This is the best hotel in Sihanoukville with great facilities, a very nice beach and great restaurants. The New Year eve dinner (included in the room price) was fantastic with great singing and fire show as well. The only drawback is that it was a victim of its own success, which meant long queuing at the check-in counter and at the main restaurant . There were a few glitches with the magnetic car keys and fast rotating staff. Otherwise, that was a perfect hotel.

I have stayed everywhere and nothing compares to the SECRET GARDEN. Upon arrival we met Saron who was nothing but friendly and helpful not just the first day but everyday. We ended up staying here way longer than expected and he did all he could to accomodate us and did a great job too. The bar and waitstaff are like no other-happy, friendly, smiling faces and great people(Lyly, Va, Liff, Sary, Janine and all of my other favorites). They give the best service in all of Sihanoukville hands down. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained along with the bungalows. Theyre private, quiet, relaxing and always clean. We stayed in three different bungalows(we should've booked in advance because they book up fast) and all three were equally great. The pool is beautiful and offers shade and lounge chairs as well as the beach(which is one of the few beaches on Otres that keeps their water, beachfront, and sand clean and free of any garbage or sand flys). The food is amazing and well priced with great portions. They offer western and khmer food so you can have the best of both worlds and they also have great specials. On top of that, the owners are just great. Hands on and super friendly too. You can tell they always want to make sure that you are happy and enjoying yourself. Thats so hard to find these days especially in Cambodia. I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY AT ALL ABOUT THE SECRET GARDEN AT OTRES and HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE AS LONG AS YOU CAN!!!

It was an awesome stay. For the rate of 40$ a night during New Year's time, it was definitely worth the money. Plus, they offer free pick-up to their property from anywhere around Sihanoukville area. Breakfast was good, although of limited choices. The location is okay, just a few minutes walk to Otres Beach, the quietest and cleanest beach in town. The swimming pool is clean and taken care of. It's a new hotel, so hopefully things will stay the same or even better in the coming years. Keep it up!

We would like to thank particularly the GM from south Africa who is so kindness with us. We come with my wife and my 2 young boys of 4 and 5 years old in June. After the second night, she offer us a better bungalow in front of the sea for the same rate we paid before because it was low season and one was available! I don't know if many hotels/resorts who will do that! About the restaurant, it's the best of the area. We tried another places but we came back fast to their restaurant. Even my children of 4 and 5 years old wanted to come back, they ate everything and make us the holidays easier! In the morning, I always woke up before everyone and actually her also, so every morning at 6am, before the restaurant open, i could ordered a coffee, a must of me! The bungalow for family had a large bedroom with 1 bed king size and 2 double bed, living room, terrace and we had 2 bathrooms with really high standard. Air conditioning was perfect! Highly recommended! Thank you for everything!!!

Overall it was a good stay at the resort. The staffs were very very helpful and accommodating, especially Hayam. He’s stationed at the pool’s bar, very friendly and warm guy. He gave us useful tips on what to eat/do in Sihanoukville. The resort is not on the beach front, but it’s just a 2-3 mins walk cutting through another boutique hotel. Only suggestion would be to improve on the toilet’s shower area cleanliness. Tiles are a bit dirty. Other than that, it was a humble & cosy 12-rooms resort :)

We had a suite and it was a really good size and very comfortable. The only downside was the building work going on at the hotel which woke us up at 7am. The infinity pool is fantastic, especially at sunset, as the hotel is located at the top of a hill so you get a great view of the whole city. The sky bar is nice for dinner too. Breakfast was decent from a western point of view but the Asian food is good. It's not close to any beaches but the staff arranged a tuk tuk to Otres beach (which is the best in Sihanoukville & really nice) for $12 return so we were happy with that.

The hotel has a very long stretch of direct beach access, and that is the best thing about it. The rooms and facilities clearly need some overhaul. and there is constant building work for putting more bunglows onto the extensive grounds. For a 5 star resort the place is strangely soulless and lacks any attempt to give it a special feel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. But when it comes to room design, service facilities, and the limited breakfast choices, it's clearly not top-class hotel.

I would love to be able to recommend this hotel and area BUT there is major developments being built in the area and right next door to Harmony home. The building works does start quite early and the construction looms large over the quaint little place that Harmony is- you can get away from the noise by spending time on the fantastic beach just across the road from the hotel, and there are numerous great restaurants and bars along that area of Otres2 beach. We had high hopes of visiting idillic tropical islands off the shore from Otres but the coral is all but dead and not much to see there, and more construction taking place on the islands. We did not dare venture into Sihanoukville as the roads were terribly pot-holed and a tuc-tuc journey would have been excruciating, plus much much more construction all around... Cambodia has sold its sole to China and the massive contstruction is indicative of mass tourism soon to follow. The hotel grew on us but it’s had its day sadly.

The hotel was very peaceful. Sihanoukville has changed a lot in the past year, now there are Casino's going up everywhere. This place had a very peaceful environment. The pool was very deep (near 3m/9ft) and much larger than it appeared. The view from the room was incredible. The staff were very friendly. We will stay here again when traveling through Sihanoukville.

The buffet had a little bit of everything. It was all very good! By far the best we have had in the last two months of traveling through Asia. The service was great but not the best English speakers...which surprised me because everywhere else we have stayed in Cambodia had excellent English speakers. Anyways wasn't a big deal but made for some difficulty. Also there is no concierge which we were surprised about because it's such a large hotel with a casino. The pool was great and the ocean view is of the harbor which wasn't a bad spot. There are two towers so you might have to walk from one to get to everything else. They do provide golf cart transfer. The gym was large and nice. The bed and shower were fantastic!!!!!!! Probably the softest bed we have slept on since being home! Made for a great sleep and excellent place to stay. If you want to be central in town this is not the place for you.

The resort is lovely, right on the beach with a lovely pool and air conditioned rooms. Breakfast is good except the coffee. WiFi works really well in most areas. Very good showers and clean bathrooms. The island’s going to be developed a lot over the next few years so keep an eye on dates of reviews. Staff were helpful with everything and kept the place clean. Our original ferry to the island was cancelled due to the weather and they moved our dates for free so we didn’t lose a day. We went in rainy season so pretty much had the place to ourselves for most of our stay. It is a good 20 minute walk from the best bars and restaurants on the island but means you don’t get the noise especially in peak season and it’s a mostly lovely walk along the beach even in the dark anyway.
