Valenciana hotels & accommodations

My colleague and I stayed in the NH Alicante for four nights while attending a workshop at the EUIPO. The Hotel is situated halfway between the EUIPO complex and the center of Alicante and was consequently very well located for our needs. It is also just a short taxi ride from Alicante airport. The rooms (along with the respective bathrooms) are nice and spacious. As w...

Beautiful hotel in a great location to explore the city. Rooms are generous in size with extremely comfortable beds. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly and I’ve already passed on the name to friends who are going to Valencia later on in the year. Don’t miss the fantastic Italian restaurant just opposite the hotel - amazing little place, food was superb but y...

This hotel is in the best location for anyone traveling to Valencia to see the science museum and aquarium, as it is walking distance from both. The staff is very friendly and attentive at the hotel as well! I will definitely stay here again upon my return!

It was OK. The hotel was cheap, so I cannot complain too much. The bathroom could be cleaner, the wallpapers were peeling, and the parking was expensive. Luckily, we found some place to park at the street just around the corner for free from 14h to 9h. The best feature of this hotel is its location, near some of the most impressive Calatrava's architecture, the "Ciudad...

Wonderfully comfortable nights rest, in a very clean room with a mini bar. Our outlook was into a central atrium looking at other room windows, it felt dull but private. We didn't take breakfast so can not comment on that (supermarket very close by). It was a ten minute walk from the nearest Metro which is a direct line to and from the airport, also a handy bus stop r...

I stayed in NH Centre for 6 days and I can give only Good with respect to 4-star standard. In the breakfast, only PORK and Egg were available as the main items, but no chicken items or vegetables. Almost the same items all days. I have stayed in many 4-star hotels, but this breakfast menu was not as per my expectation. Also, there were only Spanis channels available o...

The hotel is place right in centrum. It's a nice staff and the room is cleaned. The hotel is a little worn down but other than that it's a nice hotel. The bathroom is cleaned though it took a while for the hot water to come. Make sure to get a room above the ten floors to get a good view over the water, beach and castle. The breakfast is 10 eu if you order a day before...

We chose this hotel due to its location for New Year celebrations and it was perfect. Crowds gathered on 30th for a fancy dress fun run, again on New Year's Eve to count in 2016 although the fireworks were cancelled due to security warning - they put on a laser show and there was still a good crowd to eat the twelve grapes on each strike of midnight. Then, on 5th there...

This property was great in a great location for the fiesta near to every bar .. however because it is over a bar there is no chance of sleep ... that really ruined the 4 days i was there .. much to noisy and i like to party.. had about 4 hours sleep the whole time i was there would not stay again but only because of the noise .. when the music finaly goes off the bottl...

Location, location! This hotel is a 2 min walk from Xativa metro station, just 25 mins from the airport. It is clean and the staff are friendly. It appears that not all rooms have all facilities you would expect from a four star hotel. i.e. kettles are only in some, balconies..only some get the privilege of these rooms (could be based on price you pay). Also, the...

Loved the hotel, better than more expensive places. Literally the only draw back was the roof top bar was open irregularly and we did not get to use it, the water treatment area was not ready yet and the restaurant looked more like a canteen area. I would go back, everything else you want is there. Use it as a hub to go out from. equal distance from the city centre an...

Confortable hotel and very friendly staff but needs more work in the kitchen as food is horrible. Buffett breakfast very poor no yoghurt, honey , only margarine no butter. No fresh fruit but only conserved fruit. 2 choice of cereals and 2 choice of bread. Buffet dinner was also horrible, processed burger putties, even frozen fried rice! Pasta had even processed bolog...

We really enjoyed our stay, just wish we had longer there. Would definitely go back to this hotel and recommend to anyone who wants to be close to the City of Arts and Science. Nice spacious room and bathroom- had everything we needed and the mini bar was a nice touch

This is an amazing hostel which is ran by a lovely chap. We travelled across Spain this summer and this was by far the best hostel we stayed at. The room we stayed in was comfortable with a beautiful view. The bathroom's are clean and well equipped. The breakfast which is included is sooooo good. We didn't have breakfast out once during our stay in Valencia. It's in a ...

Great location. Near the old town, shopping centre and beautiful parks. Modern, clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant staff, who will try their best to accommodate individual dietary requests and gave me handpicked flowers on my birthday. The hotel has a very nice spa, small gym and pool. The double deulux room was very spacious with a private court...
Cheap places to stay in Valenciana

I sent am e-mail telling them, that I will arrive late (1AM) and cant deny it was a bit weird to be received by someone of the trainstation. I also cant deny neither that he was very nice, had everything ready to me and made my experience funnier. The room was cleaned, the showers worked and the breakfast considering the price nice (3€ per day). The hostel was well loc...

The staff was great and the place was very clean! The environment was relaxing and the showers were great 👍🏼 The kitchen is a bit lacking however... Tiny plates and bowls, only one small electric stove; hard for travelers making their own meals. The male to female ratio was quite off in the "mixed" room I booked (being the only girl amongst all 45+ year old men) but ...

I stayed after the recommendation of a good friend. The pension is clean, staff is friendly and accomodating, places to go and see are within walking distance. The only bummer thing is that if you are planning to get anything done on the the internet, the wifi is not dependable. It cuts in and out a lot and sometimes is just not available. But if you are planning to ex...

Very beautifully decorated with ethnic theme, many little interior details. Clean little place with nice rooms, surprising and nice rooftop terrace and friendly staff that personally prepare and serve you brakfast at the rooftop (in case you’ve booked it). Only little minus is that it’s not very soundproof but we got a good sleep during end of season.

twin bedrooms of a decent size ,same with bathrooms.Appears to be run by two gentlemen who could not have been more welcoming or helpful.Had a good evening meal, breakfast was the usual 'bread and jam'.Unexpectantly was given a gift of a bottle of local wine on leaving.

The room was quite small for two people, but well equipped and comfortable. The A/C was a bit noisy, but everything else worked fine. A simple breakfast was included. The staff were very helpful. The location is the best, five minutes from the central market, castle, waterfront, tram station, many museums and a good area for restaurants and bars. We would book this roo...

This small hotel is very adequate for a short stay and the rooms basic and exceptionally clean. It is a family affair hotel running hotel/cafe who are professionally polite. However, It would be an asset if there was a coffee-maker in the room. There is no lounge area to wait in which is a draw back if waiting for transport. The hotel is well located on a main road ...

Now I understand why they have a no refund policy :( Both bedspreads were dirty, there were no towels, the shower curtain was half ripped off the rings and the shelf in the shower was hanging off the wall!! :-/ this is not an acceptable standard for this price. I left the hotel 15 minutes after entering the room and went to hotel Mendez Nunez where for 10€ more per ni...

The pros was that when i booked it was 60% off price =D I love the beach outside it's very clean, no stones in the wather, no dogs allowed on the beach and you can walk a couple of 100m at the side and be very private . The breakfast buffe and dinner buffe is awesome, much to schoose from. Cons: The rooms are extremly noicy, you will hear the people next door talking...

a basic but clean 1 bedroom apartment, could have done with some heating as we visited family in December, but for 20 euros a night inc a full english breakfast who can complain, there was always the 2 ring cooker to provide heating, overall i recon it cost them money for us to stay, when you add the breakfast and heating costs, would stay again for a short break. 1 t...

Rooms smelled off cigarets but were clean. In one of our rooms (we had 2) the aircondition/heating didnt work as well as the wifi... the hostel is pretty ran down but the restaurant is newly refurbishef. the staff was aleays friendly but in the rooms you can hear everything... it is definitely bettet on pictures than in reality. we booked as in Valencia everything was...

The hotel has a perfect location, next to the northern train station and at walking distance to old city center and the Ruzafa area with many restaurants and shops. The rooms are nice, not big but big enough and there is no noise from outside. There were 2 big beds, 2 chairs and a good working air-conditioning. The bathroom was spacious with all amenities you need and ...

i have no idea how this hotel got 5 stars. i used to own a hotel and i know what you require for upgrading to another star and in my opinion this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. saying that, if you have to stay there because your company has booked you in then don't panic. the rooms are very comfortable and you won't get bitten by anything. but that's about it. firstly ...

Nicely positioned between the Arenal and the Port this hotel is modest but clean. A supplement is charged for rooms facing the sea which are compact and rather dated but are cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The bathroom contained a small but very efficient shower. The continental breakfast was of good quality for the price. We had a very pleasant stay at re...

The Catalonia hotels we stayed in in both Barcelona and Valencia were about the best accommodation we had whilst travelling through Spain. The locations were good, the rooms clean and overall the service was good. Adequate English TV channels with large TVs made it easy to relax after long days. Fridge did not have a freezer compartment, however, when asked ice was ...

We spent 5 nights there and really enjoy the service and room. We really love room design. It's modern and new. Room is quite big and has two sofa that you can relax with your drink. Toilet also beautiful and clean. They prepared book about tourist information in Valencia in the room too. Location is great. There are many restaurants around there. We found one that's...

The hotel was great. Room was kept very clean each day and I ate in the restaurant on2 of the 4 days and the food was of a high quality. I paid for each breakfast and it was quite reasonably priced. Would have liked to stay a few hours longer but hotel was booked out so they kindly stored my luggage until I left.

The location is great. We walked to pretty much all the places. We only took a bus between train station and the hotel when carrying luggage. We had the most economic room which is small and no view what so ever. But all the view to the green space has been pretty much blocked from the hotel so we didn't miss the view considering how little we paid for the room and we ...

They have new rooms which are befitting of the star rating of this hotel, then they have rooms which are relics from the 1970's. Make sure you know what you're booking. We ended up paying an extra EUR10 a night to avoid the punishment of the older rooms. I could have argued the point about the deception online, but I was just too tired at the time. Breakfast was reall...

Family room for 2 adults is two normal room connected. So it is spacious. The hotel is clean and close to 2 shopping centers. Ciutat de las Artsy de les Ciencies and L'Oceanografic are very close. Compared to other hotel we stayed in Spain, this one is most value for money.

Cons: only that nothing in walking distance with young child Other then that we had an amazing stay and will 100% be going back . Staff was amazing and food just as good ! We only live 80km away from hotel but will definitely find an excuse to go back !

We had avery pleasant stay in Alicante at the hotel Amerigo,we are a family of four our boys are 15 and 18 and so had their own room. The hotel is ideally situated and all the common areas are very beautifully done out. The roof terrace is a real bonus lovely during the day, great place to chill and take a dip in the spa pool. At night you can enjoy a cocktail whilst li...

If you don’t play golf, forget about it. There’s nothing else to do. It’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s over priced. The showers don’t work. The service is slow. Basically, whoever manages the place doesn’t care, because the staff, although friendly, don’t care either.

The hotel is somewhat in need of some renovation, the pool is very small for a 5 star hotel and staff where sometimes unhelpful. I paid nearly 200 euro for 1 night which I felt at the end that it was too much. The room was comfortable but again the staff couldn't find us a double bed so was quite disappointing at the end.

The hotel was beautiful, definitely 5 star, but the staff were rude and unwelcoming. This made me feel uncomfortable during the whole of our stay! Our group felt like a burden. I've stayed in similar hotels in the past and the staff have always gone out of their way to be friendly and helpful, unfortunately this was not the case.

With a car (which is a must) short trips to various cities and beaches within 20 kms. is a real pleasure. The cost of the hotel is very reasonable (excellent value for money), good in- and outdoors restaurants Excellent breakfast buffet. Once again we spent a great week there.

Sitting in the between the old town and the amzing park, you cannot ask for a better location. The rooms are airy, the design is unique and as embedded in history as the city itself. One thing I’d add in is onsite spa facilities (they do have a small outdoor pool). If you get a chance- make reservationsto Sucede, the hotel’s Michelin Star restaurent, it is amazing.
