It is nice and good experience due to I was stay many time chennai but Every time No Good hotel like this. I think and suggest that very very good hotel in cheap price.

The hotel fares in India are rather expeensive at any city. The same thing goes to Chennai. Royal Regency Hotel, Chennai, is not a bad one, but certainly is not worth the price. The only thing I found good about the hotel is that I could check in very late at night and check out very early in the morning and none of the hotel staffs made complaint about it.

when i arrived there,the welcome by this young gentleman was very bad.did not say hello and was certainly not polite.gave us the room key and once arrived in the room i did not find it a deluxe room.after 5minutes,young boy arun came and said that this is not my room and need to change.hoped that the other room is not worse.he showed me the room and i could smile again.the room and bathroom was good.that young gentleman from the front desk should do his work better and instead of being whole the time on the phone he should concentrate on his work.next morning ,another gentleman in front desk,prakash,who was so friendly and whatever you asked he tried to help.apart from that one gentleman the staff is helpful and friendly.

Ripped Off”
Nice hotel with good facilities. Breakfast was ok and location was perfect for Football match I attended at nearby Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. However one of the reception staff offered me a ticket for the game for 300 rupees. Not knowing the prize for a ticket I bought it. As it turned it was a complimentary ticket for a part of the Stadium were tickets only cost 150 rupees.

Great location but small rooms”
My trip is Business Trip. I need the room only for to keep my baggage and for the purpose to relax for some after the journey. the location of hotel is good for my purpose as it near to the city main station and easy to travel form any point of city.

I seriously would call it high priced for what it had to offer. My suggestion get a resort with a pool, because it would definitely cost you the same. But thanks to agoda I paid INR where when they were asking for INR for the Basic room.

Worse than before”
This is the third time I stayed in this hotel. I come here again because previously the room was good, neat and clean. Apparently this time I got a room which has a poorly maintain toilet. Looks old with stain that obviously can't be removed - something I don't expect from this hotel. I stayed here three times in one year and a half and I can say there's no improvement on the wear and there. I won't choose this hotel again next time.

Could Have been better”
Well...first Hot water for shower is controlled by Housekeeping so each time i need to take Hot shower i have call the reception and inform and then the hot water comes in. Second the breakfast..the juice were so fresh that there was either no sweetness or was too sweet. Selection was very limited but this is not something very troubling. The restaurant staffs does not converse in English. They only knew hindi or Tamil....pity the froigeners who stay there.. Wake up call...if you say 3am it comes at 2.30am. Sighhhh.

The food in the restaurant wasn't good for our stomachs. The bed was good. Very noicy and poor area around the hotel. No really restaurants for a foregneirs stomach. It's a budget hotel.

Suitable for business travelers and families”
Its an excellent place for business travelers. The restaurant has limited options on food and strangely there are local food on the menu. The breakfast has very limited option, little more spread on the fare would be better.

near rail tracks..”
the hotel is not worth its money..the rooms and toilet are not that clean. just maintains the minimum standards. the windows are supposed to be sound proof, but there is noise from the rail track to diturnb early morning sleep...the staff at the reception is very courteous and helpful. but it is not the money's worth...
