When I arrived there seems a problem in the standard room I booked so the care taker gave us a suite room which was so good the bed was excellent so had a great sleep there.You can just book and go you won't regret anything

Location is near to Meenakshi Amman Temple. As the temple prohibits some items inside the temple, one can leave them in the hotel room, walk bare foot, have darshan and return hassle free. The actual name of Hotel is "Simap Residency". Usually, the travelers confuse finding the hotel even after reaching the hotel. Very hygiene, spacious and well behaved staff.

This hotel is at very key place and staff is also very nice. The only thing I missed is wifi and tv but same case for all other hotels near by due to some govt restrictions. But, staff has offered alternative big room that was super !!!

Stay in SIMAP Madurai”

Usually Madurai and many south Indian hotels allow for 24 hours cycle. However when you go through the web booking, it has mostly been 12 noon check in and 11 am check out. Thus for a 234 hours we had to pay 50% more than the booked tariff. The hotel is located very close to the most famous Meenakshi Temple, albeit in one of the most congested areas where autos are not allowed to park for alighting or boarding near the hotel. Thus if you have any heavy luggage, reach there either early morning or in the night. It does not have any restaurant, staff are cooperative in fetching food from nearby restaurants. Breakfast is provided in the room,some how I don't like eating in the room, as the smell of food lingers for long. Room was spacious (106), bereft of any opening to outside world. Windows are more for decoration. No natural light from any where. For a very short stay and if it is the main purpose to visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, this is okay, and not for a longer stay.

issue with early checkin”

Location is very good, Cleanliness also good. issue is , while booking itself we informed for early checkin, after reaching hotel even though availability is there they didn't give the hotel. They are adamant on early check in charges even though we mentioned our checkout is early. Free breakfast what they provided is not that great. They don't have kitchen in the hotel, they get it outside. Main advantage of this hotel is near to Temple.
