Relaxing in Ostre.”
We stayed there for a last night in Ostre beach. The owner is so kind and friendly. Shower was hit enough and water pressure was also good. So we could have a great relaxing night there. We’re lucky to stay here!! Thank you!!

The streets are torn up rubbish every where the whole of Otres is a bomb site the roads are all dug up and you have to jump trenches to get into business but prices ok food great people friendly but you cannot easily get onto the beach which is still beautiful but no beach front stalls etc

Dear Robyn, what exactly do you mean by hotel has gotten shabby? Everything works in the room and the room conditon was good and even gave you a free uograde to a bigger room!!!! yes the roads are under construction, isn’t it a good thing that otres and Sihanoukville will be getting a bigger, better road? before now, same tourist like you that no one is doing something about the bad road and waste management system, and now the government is fixing the road and drain and yet people like you still complain!!!

The place was a lot smaller than we anticipated but perfect for what we needed none the less. The staff were so helpful and kind. Unfortunately it was more Sihanoukville itself which was a bit of let down. The whole place is under major construction to turn this into a huge tourist resort as quickly as possible so getting to and from places is difficult on the roads and it makes it very dusty. Great shame as the people are lovely and the beaches had a lot of potential.

Good hotel in very bad location”
Hi we travelled here after booking with Agoda for a double and family room ,the hotel informed us that they did not have family rooms advised us to cancell,agoda terms said we would have to pay anyway!So we went the hotel upgraded us to bigger rooms and bigger beds but still my 2 brothers were forced to sleep in the same bed not what we planned.About the hotel it’s good clean friendly place with lovely big rooms and a small but clean pool.However our stay was totally ruined by the surroundings the roads have become tracks great holes run along the sides full of foul water the side road acccessing the hotel was totally blocked we had to negotiate gang planks to acccess shops and bars not safe.No water wi fit or electric on the last day !Awful the beach side is totally destroyed !Dont go !

Lost electricity till 23h00”
I spend 1 night here with my family. The staff is good. It takes 3-5 mins to the beach. The beach is very beautiful and clean. But now Sihanoukville is like a big construction yard, the traffic is terrible so i think stay at Otres beach is good, no need to go to city. The most upset thing in my stay is lost electricity at this motel, when i come back at 22h00 the lights is out and no one come to tell me until i come to see the staff. It is so hot and a lot of mosquito, my children sleep without AC and get bite a lot. After telling several times to the staff, i got electricity after 23h. So exhausted after a long day trip. Hope it not happen again.

- construction- construction All over Sihanoukville - beachside bars all but gone - mud roads - little spent on infrastructure- Kep 200% better - sorry but nothing but disappointment- only good part is smiling Cambodian people Phnom Pehn madness too - motorbikes - rush rush rush Vietnam next

Not too far from the beach”
Not too far to the beach and great restaurants around Room with a lot of mosquitoes because of big gaps on patio and door room. Bed linen needs to be updated, too old supposed to be white but more like yellow and holes on the sheets, never got changed on our 7 days stay. Too much construction around, hard too sleep in.

It was awful ”
First the location is terrible. Near the hotel, there are so many Chinese drinking and shouting until 2am. So it will be dangerous especially to women's. And the room condition was so bad. So many fly and mosquitos were in the room and the room was way batter in the photo. Never recommend

Dear Sreang, many thanks for staying with us. odd that you’re complaning about room size. We have 2 room types and the room type sizes are stated on all OTA but you chose to book a small room. how can a building thats just been renovated, repainted with staff working 24 hours look like abandoned place? this is a small boutique hotel with only 10 rooms in total. how big can we make the pool for 10rooms? your review is untrue and overreaching!

Cosy, new hotel - the best price/quality ratio:)”
We loved our stay in Sofinny - arrived there late at night, when everything was closed, but owners opened their restaurant only for us and made really tasty food. The breakfast was also good - you can choose from a variety of different dishes. Coffee was really excellent compared to majority of Cambodian restaurants. Rooms were spacey and new, bathroom bigger then average and nicely decorated with bamboo. The best price/quality ratio we had in Cambodia. Total price of stay in new and big rooms with breakfast was cheaper then living in 20 years shack without breakfast. Location is good - 5-7 min. walk to Otres beach. Staff really friendly and helpful - even gave their motobike for short trips. The only negative thing was construction site on the opposite side of the street that started 8-9 AM. But it didn't actually bother us, because we woke up early every morning. It will also end before the ll half of 2017 season.

Power always cut off”
We got a first floor firstable , however for 3 night ( by agoda) $127 requested to higher floor , after we had to ask them to move up to another one everything the same just the next door construction workers can't see inside ro the room . Room was good nice and clean , wifi wasgood and had a balcony too with hot water . The bed wasn't confortable and also under the sheets there was a mattres plastic cover protection on it. Bit weired. Only bed thing the next door construction a new hotel building noisy in the morning and the power always cut off :( what made the room not too enjoyable. Breakfast was the other side of the street from the restaurant menu , prices are overpriced what you can get. But breakfast was included. Staff was friendly and nice it's a family business. Beach was close and night time was super quiet .
