I had an exceptional 4 night stay at the Sofitel. When I think about what I want from a hotel stay it’s cleanliness, comfort, and kindness. The Sofitel exceeded all three criteria. My room was sparkling clean, the room incredibly cozy (bed especially), and the staff were out of this world in terms of kindness and helpfulness. I honestly wanted to extend my time in Berlin just to stay here longer and I hope to be back at some point.

Comfortable and pleasant stay”
First off, it was a sweet gesture of the hotel to upgrade us after knowing that we were celebrating our anniversary on this trip. Pros: - Good location. U-bahn nearby and the train station (Zoologischer Garden) within 7 min walking distance. Couple of bus services available to take you to the other parts of the city - Hotel was clean and well decorated. The rooms were pleasant and the amenities were well maintained - Go for their breakfast as I found the spread to be good. Though they could do with changing the menu - The staff were friendly and accomodating. Good service overall. - A few supermarkets in the area for you to get snacks etc. Cons: Nothing actually. Perhaps the lack of shopping options within walking distance. Mostly high end branded shops. But that's the characteristic of the area itself.

Nice hotel”
Hotel location is very good, near train station, shopping center and restaurant. Room is big and clean. I went there in summer, the weather was very warm but there was air conditioning in the room that was awesome. Bed was comfortable aswell. I really relax after the long day.

Coronavirus catastrophe”
Booked a room earlier this year and were unable to travel to stay at hotel due to Coronavirus restrictions. Have now been told by hotel that they are now in receivership and administration and would not honour a booking date change despite earlier confirming they would, so we have lost a significant amount of money paid for the room. Unable to stay (outside of our control and unable to change date (so we could stay). Very disappointed.

Excellent Stay”
I truly enjoyed my stay at the Sofitel Berlin Kurfurstendamm Hotel. I had not been back in Berlin since the Wall came down and was very interested to see the city and the people. The staff could not have been more accommodating and the room was lovely. The location was quite convenient with many things within walking distance. My only complaint is that there was no Nespresso machine in the room. I had come from the Sofitel in Munich which did have a Nespresso machine in the room.

Comfortortable and Conveniently located upmarket hotel”
Stayed in the Sofitel the second time and this was for 4 nights. The rooms were adequate but a few more square metres would have been perfect. Sumptious breakfast and the service was as expected for a Sofitel, friendly but efficient. The hotel is located in a very nice area with lots of shopping and dining, the Zoo and Aquarium nearby and easy transportation to anywhere you wanted to go to. My choice for Berlin.

Nice, Big Room with a View”
Enjoyed very much our stay in Berlin with a very comfortable bed plus pillows (wish we could bring them home with us!) , great view of the Berlin Marathon, very good accommodating service by Reception, Concierge (Sam, Maximilian and another who took care of our left luggage), and speedy response by housekeeping of our requests. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends!

Very friendly staff, good location my only negatives were air con was not working, and pillows were too soft to get a good nights sleep,and last three days stay sauna was not working.Otherwise good hotel and would stay there again.

Nice hotel in a great location”
Lovely hotel, room was large and comfortable. Gym is quite small and has no swimming pool. Location was great, central and convenient for travelling around the city. Only bad thing was the room service who woke us up at 8am each morning to clean our rooms when we were still asleep.! They were too keen to get rooms cleaned.

Hotel was clean tidy staff were very helpful... The Luxury room was lovely and bed comfortable... But the Breakfast out of this world best I've ever had since I've been travelling can get busy at times but the food is great, no so good if your on a diet and service great ...Close to shops and U/S station

Full review - step by step !!! Unfortunately poor experience”
I just woke up I decided to describe all the pros and cons of this hotel, unfortunately the general impression is terrible. Pros: very good location in the heart of "kudamstrasse" ... large and spacious rooms ... This is the end of the advantages... Cons: The hotel is disgusting and old The lobby reminds you of movies where the action takes place about 50 years ago and the quests stops in Transylvania and Dracula is hiding just by the corner ... The rooms need a total renovation - they are old This is a hotel with the worst quality / price ratio I have been in the last time. Never again!!! Today moving to ZOO Hotel - much better choice.

fantastic, but the staff in the restaurant "forgot" to give us change for our dinner, we would have payed the amount anyway in tips, but we prefer to be the ones that decide on how much tips the waiter should have.
